Abstract

In sports, doping abuse done by athletes has been done since the 18th century. Many of the drugs used for doping and its chemical properties vary. Based on a list issued by the World Anti Doping Agency, one of the doping categories is diuretic. Then the most appropriate testing method is needed to seperation furosemide and indapamide. This study aims to see the development and validation of the separation furosemide and indapamide as doping compounds with High Performance Liquid using the Zic - HILIC column. This study used High Performance Liquid Chromatography of Shidmazu LC 20 AD brand with iso-fed pump and SPD 20A UV-Vis detector. The column used is Zic - HILIC (150 x 4.6 mm; 5 μm). This research is carried out on the optimization of conditions including mobile phase velocity, mobile phase pH, buffer of mobile phase, and buffer concentration. Selection of selected conditions see the price of R> 1.5 and N >>> or HETP <<<Optimized wavelength results 276 nm. The separation conditions of the furosemide and indapamide mixtures by HPLC using Zic-HILIC columns (150 x 4.6 mm, 5 μm) are Acetonitrile: Ammonium Acetate buffer (5 mM, pH 5) (95: 5) with a velocity of 0.5 ml / minute. The selected condition gives the given resolution value> 1.5 and the N price is the greatest. The method was than validated forSelectivity, linearity,accuracy, precision, limits ofdetection and limits ofquantification. The calibration curve of furosemide and indapamide were linear with a regression coefficient R > 0.999.

Abstract

The data that have been obtained in Indonesia by using samples of clinical material from the hospital, Staphylocccus aureusis proved to be resistant to penicilin and methicillin, tetracyclin, oxacilin, gentamicin, erytromycin, chloramphenicol, and trimethrophrim-sulfemethoxazole. The high resistant inStaphylocccus aureus bacteria encourage efforts to find drugs that have antibacterial activity. Furfural and its derivates are known to have antibacterial activity. The purpose of this study was to obtain derivate of furfural compound 2,6-bis-(2’-furilidyn)-sikloheksanone, which is expected to have antibacterial activity against drug resistant bacteria Methicillin resistant Stapylococcus aureus (MRSA). 2,6-bis-(2’-furilidyn)-sikloheksanone synthesis was done with starting materials ofcyclohexanone (0,0121 mol)and furfural (0,0121 mol), using KOH 7,5% as catalys in the aquadest solvent. The purity test were carried out with melting distance test, thin layer chromatography, and gas chromatography. Structure elucidation was performed with mass spectrometer analysis, IR, and spectrophotometer, H1-NMR. The syntesis result is then tested for its antibacterial activity againts MRSA bacteria with diffusion method to determine the inhibition diameter. The result of this study showed that 2,6-bis-(2’-furilidyn)-cyclohexanone has been successfully synthesized with an average yield of 73,60% ±0,204. Re-crystallization resulting in pure compound base on its melting range (1,90C), TLC (one spot Rf= 0,33), and GC (100% area). The results of the chemical structure elucidation by mass spectrometry, IR spectrophotometerand H-NMR spectrometer line with the target compound. The synthesis result has antibacterial activity with average of inhibition diameter at a concentration of 3,959mM/ml= 27 mm.   Keywords:synthesis, analog of curcumin, antibacterial

Abstract

Salah satu antena yang paling populer saat ini adalah antena mikrostrip. Hal ini disebabkan karena antena mikrostrip sangat cocok digunakan untuk perangkat komunikasi yang sekarang ini sangat memperhatikan bentuk dan ukuran. Antena mikrostrip dapat menjadi solusi memenuhi kebutuhan antena tersebut. Tulisan ini membahas tentang rancangan sebuah antena mikrostrip dipole yang dapat diaplikasikan pada frekuensi 2,4 GHz (2,4 GHz – 2,483 GHz). Perancangan antena ini menggunakan software simulator AWR Microwave Office 2004. Kemudian dianalisis hasil simulasi parameter yang dihasilkan, yaitu voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), pola radiasi dan gain. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran, bandwidth antena yang diperoleh sebesar 217 MHz pada frekuensi 2,283 GHz – 2,5 GHz pada VSWR ≤ 2 dengan pola radiasi omnidirectional serta gain 5 dBi.

Abstract

Abstract: This research purpose to determine the influence of learning independence on student learning outcomes on the Online Business lesson of XI BDP student’s class of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The data of research collection used were documentation to get learning outcomes students and questionnaire to get data of learning independence. The population in this research was students of XI BDP class, consisting of 30 students. Sampling in this population using the technique until saturated that is where the entire population become sample that amount to 30 students. The collected data is then tabulated and analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 22. The results descriptively indicate that the learning outcomes of online business subjects are categorized enough amounting to 16 students (53%) and high learning independence categorized as high as 25 students (83%). The results of research are there is a positive effect of learning independence on student learning outcomes by the contributed of 28,8%, meanwhile the rest was 71,2% which was affected by another factor that was not included in this research.Key word : Learning Independence, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract Cryptographic algorithms can be used to secure images. One of the cryptographic algorithms that can be used to encrypt images is the Serpent algorithm. However, the Serpent algorithm requires a long encryption and decryption process. In addition, encryption alone is not enough because it will raise suspicions so that the information will be vulnerable to being stolen. So we need a steganography technique such as the Integer Wavelet Transform (IWT) method. The secret image will be encrypted first using the Modified Serpent method, where the Serpernt modification changes the byte substitution transformation process (DES S-box) into a list of 257 prime numbers which has 128 generators to be used as keys in each round. In the insertion process using the IWT method, it is necessary to determine the position of the bits and pixels on the cover image where a message will be inserted. To determine the position, the chaos function is used. After that, the extraction process can be carried out on the stego image generated in the embedding process to recover the bits stored in it. The set of bits can be decrypted so that the original secret image will be recovered.

Abstract

Abstract; The problem in this study is the teacher's lack of understanding of the professional competence of teachers, namely broad and deep mastery of the material, as well as the effective use of media and learning facilities. This research is a quantitative research with a correlation design that aims to describe the professional competence of teachers with learning outcomes in science for class V Cluster II students. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between teacher professional competence and science learning outcomes in elementary school cluster II with a greater t_count (4.050) value (>) t_value (table )(1.68830) at a significance level of 5%. Thus H0 is rejected H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that professional competence will have an impact on students' science learning outcomes. So the better the professional competence of the teacher, the better the student learning outcomes. From these conclusions, the impact resulting from this study is known that good professional competence will improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU) PT. Semen Tonasa berfungsi sebagai penghasil uap yang nantinya digunakan untuk menggerakkan turbin untuk menghasilkan listrik. PLTU PT. Semen Tonasa mulai beroperasi pada tahun 1997, selama beroperasi terjadi penurunan daya mampu dari 25 MW pada kondisi operasi tahun 1997 menjadi 20 MW pada operasi sekarang (2012). Untuk itu dilakukan studi analisa guna mengetahui besarnya penurunan dan penyebab turunnya kinerja boiler Unit 1 PLTU PT. Semen Tonasa. Analisa perhitungan boiler dengan menggunakan metode kehilangan panas (heat loss). Data yang digunakan berupa data input dan ouput serta data spesifikasi desain peralatan boiler. Dari hasil analisa dan pembahasan diperoleh efisiensi boiler unit 1 PLTU PT. Semen Tonasa turun sebesar 6,04%, yaitu pada saat kondisi operasi tahun 1997 efisiensi boiler sebesar 91%, sedangkan pada kondisi operasi sekarang sebesar 84,96%. Faktor kehilangan panas terbesar diakibatkan oleh gas buang kering, dimana pada operasi tahun 2004 sebesar 5,59% dan pada operasi sekarang sebesar 5,79%, atau meningkat sebesar 0,20%.

Abstract

Because student data can be used to examine student academic accomplishment, or student achievement index data, student data is a very valuable database. Data on student performance is available at Muhammadiyah University of Bangka Belitung's Faculty of Engineering and Science, which houses study programs in computer science, civil engineering, and natural resource conservation. The data are analyzed using them. The C4.5 Algorithm is used in conjunction with a classification data mining technique on student data to forecast academic progress. A decision tree is constructed using algorithm C4.5. Decision trees are helpful for investigating data and uncovering undiscovered connections between numerous input factors and one goal variable. Performance outcomes are derived from the analysis results by categorizing student data. This serves as a resource for lecturers and students to enhance classroom learning and discipline among students.

Abstract

Abstract Various cosmetic preparations are developing in line with technological developments in online marketing today, one of which is serum whitening. Whitening serum is a series of facial skin care products that contain certain active ingredients used for the health of facial skin with the aim of whitening the face. Online sales of cosmetics have a bad impact, namely the spread of cosmetics that have not been registered with BPOM, so it is feared that contamination from contamination materials such as heavy metals lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd). So there is a need for a qualitative and quantitative analysis with atomic absorption spectrophotometry and method verification. This study aims to identify the presence of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) metal contamination in whitening serums so as to advise consumers about the dangers of using these metals for facial skin health. The results showed that the 5 samples analyzed all contained lead metal contamination (Pb) in the range of 0.0191-0.0406 mg / L and cadmium metal (Cd) in the range of 0.7732-0.9871 mg / L. Results still met the requirements in accordance with the BPOM contamination limit, namely no more than 20 mg / L and no more than 5 mg / L. Thus, all the serum whitening sample is still within the safe limit according to the contamination limit by BPOM.

Abstract

Abstract White Tumeric (Curcuma zedoaria) is a plant that contains curcuminoid compounds and essential oils on its rhizomes which are useful as anticancer. The purpose of this study is to find out which type of filling material (diluent) is good as a filler for white meeting tablets (Curcuma zedoaria). Tablets are made using the direct printing method with the types of fillers (diluent) used are ludipress, starch 1500, and Spray Dried Lactose. The resulting tablets were carried out still angle and flow properties tests, compression index tests, weight uniformity tests, size uniformity tests, tablet hardness tests, tablet brittleness tests, and crush time tests. In the test of stationary angle and flow properties and compression index in ludipress filler materials, the flow property value was 10.42 g/s, the stationary angle value was 27.77º, and the compression index was 10%. In the starch filler material 1500 obtained a flow property value of 4.17 g / s, a stationary angle of 34.40º, and a compression index of 30%, in the formulation of Spray Dried Lactose obtained a flow property value of 10.18 g/s, a stationary angle of 27.74º, and a compression index of 5%. Variations of the type of diluent Spray Dried Lactose show optimal results for white temu tablet filler (Curcuma zedoaria).
