Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the students ability in writing fable by using examples non examples model at class VII D SMP Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi Academic Year 2017/2018. This research used quantitative correlation approach. The population of the research was class VII D SMP Negeri 6 Muaro jambi. The sample of the research consisted of one class, 12 men and 18 women with total sample was 30 people. The data was collected by using pre-test by using conventional method and post-test by using examples non examples model. The result of the research shows that the value of tcount is 7.766. Meanwhile the value of ttable is required from table t with dk 28 and the siginicance () is 0,05. By comparing the value of tcount and ttable it is required tcount > ttable, it means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of examples non examples model can be used in increasing the ability of the students in writing fable at class VII D SMP Negeri 6 Muaro Jambi with the mean score of post-test is 82.63 higher that the mean of pre-test 70.20. Keywords: writing, fable, model examples non examples

Abstract

This research is intended to find out the effect of using think pair share learning model towards students’ writing ability at class VII SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. The method used in this research is quasi experimental design by using the randomized posttest only control design. The sample is taken by using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research is 72 students; 36 students of control class without think pair share learning model and 36 students of experimental class with think pair share learning model. The requirement test is done by using normality test and homogenity test. The normality test of the postest is done by using Liliefors test. The result of normality which is taken from the control test is L0 < Lt (0,115 < 0,147) while the result of normality test in experimental class is L0 < Lt (0,135 < 0,147) and homogenity test in which Fcount < Ftable (1,054<1,74). It means that in normal and homogenity test, so the hypothesis can be tested. The hypothesis test is done by using t-test formula. The result of the research shows that the value of tcount = 6,25 which is higher than ttable = 1,665. In the level of significancy α = 0,05 with dk is 70. The mean of posttest which is required from the experimental class is 88,61 and the mean of posttest which is required from the control class is 73,61. Thus, it can be concluded that the think pair share learning model has a significant effect towards students’ writing ability at class VIIA and VIIC SMP Negeri 5 Kota Jambi. Keywords: Think Pair Share Model, Writing, Personal Letter

Abstract

This research is aimed at identifying the acquisition of basic noun vocabulary of Indonesian language on 3 years old childern in Lebak Bandung area. Thsi research is qualitative descriptive. In conducting the data, the question answer technique is used by showing pictures to 3 years old children in Kelurahan Lebak Bandung. Based on the result of the research, it can be found that 3 years old children are able to pronounce one to six vocabulary which categorize good and less good with their own words.  Keywords : Acquisition, Indonesian Language Noun, 3 Years Old Children

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of students to write fantasy stories using the Mind Mapping model in class VII. A students at SMP Negeri 24 Tanjung Jabung Timur Academic Year 2018/2019. The type of research used was class action research and analyzed descriptively. The research subjects were all students of class VII.A with a total of 21 people consisting of 10 men and 11 women. The study uses total sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out with non-tests and tests. Data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques, using criteria scales and analyzed results presented in the form of numbers and explained in the form of a description. Based on the analysis carried out, it was obtained that the average value in cycle one was 69.28 enough but did not meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) Indonesian subjects for individual completeness were 73, while the average value in the second cycle was 80, 57 is good and has met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of Indonesian language subjects. Thus the Mind Mapping model can be used in learning to write fantasy stories. Keywords: writing, fantasy story, mind mapping model

Abstract

This research is intended to identify the students ability in converting report text to a poetry that was taught by using discovery learning. This research is quantitative with quasi experimental design. The population of this research is students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. In collecting sample, random sampling is used, in which class X MIPA1 is experiment class and class X MIPA 2 is a control class. The technique of collecting the data is test. The data is analyzed by using pretest analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test. The result of the research shows that the mean score of experiment class is 75,00 and the mean score of control class is 71,80. The hypothesis test is calculated by using SPSS 20. T-test of two samples is gained with t-count 0,049 < 0,05 in which Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that students ability in converting report text into poetry can be taught by using discovery learning compared with those students who tried to convert the report text into poetry with direct learning model.Key Words: report text, poetry, discovery learning

Abstract

This research is aimed at identifying the use of suggestion-imagination model towards anecdote writing. This research is quantitative. The design of this research is pretest and posttest group. The population of this research is class X MIPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. The sampel is taken by using purposive sampling. Test is used in collecting the data. There are two tests are used, they are; pretest and posttest. The data are analyzed by using normality test, and homogeneity test is used to find the result of hypothesis. The research result shows that the mean of posttest is 67,18 and pretest is 58,59. The hypothesis test is used for t-test in which tcount is 7,857 and ttable is 2,353. It means that this result is equivalent with the criterion in which Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that suggestion-imagination model has significant influence towards students of class X MIPA 3 in writing anecdote inSMA Negeri 10 Kota Jambi Academic Year 2016/2017. Hence, the suggestion-imagination model can be used in learning anecdote writing.Key Words : suggestion-imagination, writing, anecdote.

Abstract

This research is intended to describe students ability in wiring poetry by using a picture of their idols in class VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. The data is taken from students poetry in decribing their idols. This researh uses quantitative analysis. The data analysis is counted by using the percentage of students assessment in writing poetry. The data of the research is 25 students. Based on students result in writing poetry by describing their idols at class VII A SMPN Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017, it can be seen that there are 3 students who got 87,5 who fall into good category; there is 1 student who got 81,25 tat falls into very good category; there are 9 students who got 75 that fall into good category; there are 6 students who got 68,75 hat fall into good categroy; and there are 6 students who got 62,5 that fall into fair category. From those 25 students, the total score is 289 with the total score is 1806,5, and the mean is 72,25 that falls into good category. Hus, students ability in writing poetry in decribing their idols at class students of VII A SMP Negeri Satu Atap Petaling Academic Year 2016/2017 fall into good category.Key Words : ability, writing poetry, picturing idols.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh observasi awal berupa hasil belajar siswa di kelas VII A MTs Mimbatul Akhlaq Kecamatan Pengabuan. Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada keterampilan menulis siswa kelas VII A MTs Mimbatul Akhlaq Kecamatan Pengabuan masih terdapat permasalahan. Siswa kurang termotivasi dalam mengikuti pembelajaran keterampilan menulis pengumuman.Keadaan tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai siswa pada keterampilan menulis belum mencapai ketuntasan. Penelitian tindakan kelas  ini yang terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas VII A MTs Mimbatul Akhlaq Kecamatan Pengabuan berjumlah 28 siswa.Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis pengumuman melalui model Numbered Heads Together pada siswa kelas VII A MTs Mimbatul Akhlaq Kecamatan Pengabuan Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Peneliti memilih menulis pengumuman karena pada kenyataan dilapangan, bahwa kemampuan menulis siswa masih rendah dan perlu diperbaiki.Dalam penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan dorongan serta motivasi kepada siswa agar lebih terampil dalam menulis pengumuman. Model yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran ini adalah model Numbered Heads Together, dengan LKS kemudian diskusi kelompok yang berkaitan dengan pengumuman.Metode deskriptif kuantitatif adalah penelitian yang mendeskripsikan suatu gejala, fakta atau peristiwa yang sedang atau sudah terjadi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dalam menulis pengumuman pada siswa kelas VII A MTs Mimbatul Akhlaq Kecamatan Pengabuan.  Pada siklus I dengan rata-rata yang didapat adalah 73,75 dan hasil pada siklus kedua terdapat penguasaan peserta didik pada materi pembelajaran keterampilan menulis pengumuman  mengalami peningkatan hal ini dapat dilihat dari evaluasi 73,75  pada siklus I menjadi 75,71 pada siklus II. Berdasarkan kesimpulan penelitian disarankan guru sebaiknya memberikan latihan menulis pengumuman pada siswa, dan sekolah hendaknya memberi kesempatan dan dukungan pada pendidik untuk melakukan PTK tentang menulis pengumuman.Kata Kunci: kemampuan, menulis pengumuman, model numbered heads together

Abstract

The language has many functions, in ataranya as a means of self expression, communication tools, a tool of social control, and the interaction. The study of language tend to concentrate on its function as a tool for suffixed interaction cannot be released from the wearer, that is, the community. The school as a place of teaching language in fact is social language usage areas (societal domain) which has its own livery.This study examines the use of spoken language in the Association in the Group-anschool between students, teachers, and employees. The research focus is on a range of spoken language that has the meaning depends on context (contex depending).As for the linguistic aspects are examined is the manifestation of the principle of politeness, the principle of cooperation, interaction and conversation on the implikaturat school.This research uses qualitative design. The techniques used in data collection is the technique check out-Libat Ably (SLC), divariasi with the note field.The results of this study are: (1) Politeness can be manifested in the kind of acts representative said, expressive, komisif, and directive, (2) the principle of Politeness and the principle of cooperation can be manifested in implikatur conversation; (3) On the official topic of conversation with the situation, politeness is manifested with pematuhan on the principle of cooperation and the use of implikatur; (4) On the situation of the conversation with the topic is not official, the principle of cooperation (PK) take precedence over the principle of politeness (PS); (5) on the conversation between student-teacher, a distance of so-bad luck and social status is no longer a major consideration to convey a polite speech.Based on the research results presented recommendations to make politeness became one of material in language learning at school.Keywords: politeness principles, principles of cooperation, implikatur conversation
