Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Pembelajaran fisika menurut siswa; 2) Motivasi belajar siswa; 3) Materi dan soal dalam pembelajaran fisika; 4)Pengalaman belajar siswa menggunakan soal HOTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian awal dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Palangkaraya sebanyak 25 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pembelajaran fisika tergolong sulit (84%) dantidak sulit (16%); 2) Motivasi siswa berturut-turut adalah sangat besar (4%), besar (40%), cukup besar (52%), dan kecil (4%); Materi fisika terdiri dari besaran dan satuan (28%), gerak lurus (57%), gerak melingkar (3%), dan hukum Newton tentang gerak (12%). Sedangkan soal fisika yaitu esai (41%), PG (30%), PG beralasan (15%), melengkapi (4%), menjodohkan (6%), danpertanyaan langsung (4%); 4) Pengalaman belajar siswa menggunakan soal HOTS adalah menganalisis (CS1) sebesar 28%, menganalisis (CS2) sebesar 16%, menganalisis (CS3) sebesar 15%, mengevaluasi (CS4) sebanyak 19%, dan mencipta (CS5) sebesar 22%.

Abstract

The STEM approach is an approach that trains to understand the four aspects of it. The four aspects are science, technology, engineering and mathematics. However, the application of this approach is still not optimally developed in the learning process. This study aims to find out the advantages of the STEM approach and the obstacles in learning physics. The method to reach the purpose is literature research. The study reviewed various STEM research journals on physics studies published in the last ten years indexed in Sinta or National Proceedings. The number of journals used is 30 journals. The results showed that the use of STEM has the most advantages in improving student learning outcomes, while the most constraints in STEM learning are in adjusting STEM learning to the curriculum and the need for good time management. The results of this study can be used as input for physics teachers to apply the STEM approach in the physics learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Elektronika dasar merupakan kebutuhan bagi calon Pendidikan masa depan karena saat ini kurikulum fisika telah mencantumkan system digital sebagai materi pengayaan. Oleh sebab itu, mahasiswa Pendidikan Fisika di IAIN Palangka Raya yang profil lulusannya sebagai pendidik harus mampu menguasai pemahaman elektronika system digital. Salah satu materi dasar dalam elektronika system digital ialah flip flop. Namun, sebelum mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa tentang fiip flop tersebut harus dinyatakan sahih untuk dapat mengukur pemahaman tentang flip flop. Penilitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan secara kuantitaif-kualitatif analisis soal pemahaman tentang flip flop pada mata kuliah elektronika dasar. Teknik Analisa yang digunakan ialah uji korelasi product moment dengan jumlah sampel N=13. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa terdapat 8 soal pengetahuan dan 3 soal analisis yang sahih menggunakan level signifikasi 5%. Sedangkan, menggunakan level signifikasi 1% maka terdapat 5 soal pengetahuan dan 2 soal analisis yang sahih. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa 50% dari jumlah soal pengetahuan dan 33% dari jumlah soal analisis harus direvisi agar dapat memgukur pemahaman tentang flip flop secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan e-modul fisika berbasis problem based learning (PBL) terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu mixed methode (penelitian campuran atau kombinasi) dengan metode yaitu one group pre-test post-test design. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPA MA Muslimat NU Palangka Raya yang berjumlah 35 orang. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan memberikan angket pre-test dan post-test serta wawancara kepada siswa. Data pre-test merupakan data awal sebelum diberikan perlakuan yaitu penggunaan e-modul fisika berbasis PBL sedangkan data post-test merupakan data akhir sesudah diberikan perlakuan yaitu pengguaan e-modul fisika berbasis PBL. Data yang didapatkan tersebut kemudian dilakukan tahap uji effect size. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil rata-rata data pre-test kemandirian belajar siswa yaitu 59,61 sedangkan hasil rata-rata post-test kemandirian belajar siswa yaitu 79,43. Adapun hasil analisis uji effect size yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 4,008 dengan kategori efek tinggi.

Abstract

The use of learning tools such as Student Worksheets (LKS) can support the success of learning, especially Problem Based Learning (PBL) based worksheets in which there are also steps to train students' solving skills. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using PBL-based worksheets on students' problem-solving abilities. This research is quantitative research with an experimental method (pre-experimental designs (nondesign)) with one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique used is in the form of description questions to measure students' problem-solving abilities. The subjects of this research were students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Palangka Raya, amounting to 35 people. The analysis used in this research is using effect size analysis. based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of using PBL-based worksheets on problem-solving abilities has proven to be effective through effect size analysis with an effect size of 1.44 which is included in the high category.

Abstract

Abstract The teacher's attention in choosing the learning media used is an important discussion. Therefore, an analysis of students' needs for learning media was carried out. The aims of this study were to 1) find out the learning media used by teachers during the learning process; 2) get the difficulties faced by students in learning physics; 3) suggesting learning media that need to be developed on the torsion concept material in high school. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis technique. This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) research approach with reference to a 3-D model (define, design, develop). This research is an initial research so that only the refine stage is carried out. The results of this study are 1) the learning media used by teachers are very diverse, in this case as many as 18% use learning videos, 18% use videos from YouTube, 18% use PPT, 8% use modules, 14% use worksheets, 16% use handbook and 8% use of educational websites; 2) as many as 84.21% of students feel that they have obstacles in learning physics due to the complexity of the material that contains formulas that make students quickly forget to remember the teacher's explanations and how to answer questions and the lack of direct practice so that it requires extra understanding; 3) as many as 94.74% of students stated the need for contextual-based comics as a medium of learning.

Abstract

Description of the needs of teachers and students is one of the information services to describe a state of learning in the classroom. This study aims to determine the physics learning process regarding (1) obstacles in learning, (2) understanding of the material, (3) the use of teaching materials, (4) the use of learning media, (5) a description of the need for media use. This research was conducted by interviewing physics teachers at MAN 2 Pulang Pisau and distributing offline to students in class XI MIA I and XI MIA II. Each class is 20 so that the sample used is 40 students. The method used in this research is a combination of qualitative and quantitative descriptive (Mixed Methods). The data analysis technique used is a qualitative analysis in the form of interviews and a quantitative stage in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study: (1) obstacles in learning according to teachers and students, namely it is difficult to understand the learning material because there are too many similarities (87.5%); (2) Teachers and students said students had more difficulty understanding static fluid material compared to other materials (90%), (3) teaching materials used according to teachers and students in learning were in the form of textbooks (92.5%), (4) Teachers say they never use learning media, while students use learning media only in the form of worksheets (87.5%), (5) Teachers and students say they really need print media in the form of comic-based media this is to make it easier to understand the material and be motivated in learning ( 97.5%).

Abstract

Pelaksanaan praktikum fisika kelas X di SMK Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas keterlaksanaan kegiatan praktikum fisika menurut guru dan peserta didik dari segi (1) Persiapan Konten, materi dan alat-alat praktikum, (2) Motivasi terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum, (3) Evaluasi hasil praktikum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods yang merupakan pendekatan gabungan antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan angket. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian merupakan peserta didik kelas X Farmasi sejumlah 25 orang dan 1 orang guru fisika. Hasil penelitian keterlaksanaan kegiatan praktikum dari segi (1) Persiapan Konten, materi dan alat-alat praktikum menurut guru dan peserta didik sudah memadai dengan hasil presentase sejumlah 67,63(%), (2) Motivasi terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum menurut guru dan peserta didik sudah cukup baik dengan hasil presentase sebesar 85,2%, (3) Evaluasi hasil praktikum menurut guru dan peserta didik meningkat setelah pelaksanaan praktikum dengan hasil presentase sebesar 93,45%

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran interaktif pada masa pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah sistem pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi sistem daring (E-Learning). Dalam hal ini, perlunya pengenalan suatu media yang dapat diakses dengan mudah untuk menunjang pembelajaran daring seperti WhatsApp.  Pada pengabdian ini mempunyai tujuan agar pengajar bisa kreatif dalam pemanfaatan aplikasi sederhana WhatsApp pada mata pelajaran IPA sebagai media pembelajaran secara optimal sehingga meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Mitra dalam pengabdian ini adalah seluruh pengajar IPA yang ada di MTs Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. Teknik pengumpulan data pada pengabdian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemanfaatan aplikasi WhatsApp pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) membuat pengajar lebih kreatif dengan memanfaatkan media seperti WhatsApp dalam pembelajaran daring sehingga membuat peserta didik juga merasa terbantu baik dalam proses pembelajaran maupun pengumpulan tugas yang jauh lebih mudah.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the student's responses to physics handouts based on android as a learning media on the topic of alternating current (AC). Data were collected by questionnaires to describe as quantitative descriptive research. The data were described in a rating scale as in the Likert Scale obtained from the provision of 25 questions that were distributed to students privately. According to the result, the average assessment showed a percentage of 82.32% in the excellent category. So, the implications suggested that physics handouts based on android had received a good response based on the questionnaires and have been valid as a learning media.
