Abstract

This research was conducted because it aims to find out about the function of education management in Al-Ulum Wal Althof Islamic boarding school in strengthening religious moderation. This type of research is case study research (field research) using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are educational planning at the Al-Ulum Wal Althof Islamic boarding school in strengthening religious moderation, namely by establishing formal education and cottage programs organized by schools, pesantren administrators, and Kiai where the implementation is following the schedule or written regulations which are the result of deliberation. together. The educational organization of the Al-Ulum Wal Althof Islamic boarding school is led by a Kiai who has the right of authority to distribute tasks to the school and boarding school administrators who then the school and the boarding school administrator cooperate with the parties involved such as teachers. The implementation of education at the Al-Ulum Wal Althof Islamic Boarding School is regulated in writing and scheduled so that all activities both in formal education or in pesantren run well and smoothly. Supervision of education at the Al-Ulum Wal Althof Islamic boarding school is carried out by the school and the boarding school.

Abstract

The first step that parents take before entering their child into an educational institution is to choose the school of interest. To be able to attract the interest of the community, especially parents and prospective students in educational institutions, the school needs to make efforts to develop schools in order to maintain the image of the school in the community. Principals and teachers play an important role in this effort, especially the principal as a leader who carries out his leadership, namely regulating, managing all the resources of the educational institution he leads. Based on this, research was conducted at SMA Wachid Hasyim regarding the principal's efforts to build a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest, with two focuses, namely: 1) What is the principal's strategy in building a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest at SMA Wachid Hasyim Pamekasan; 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for principals in building a positive image of educational institutions to attract public interest in Wachid Hasyim Pamekasan High School.

Abstract

Supervisi atau pengawasan dilaksanakan sebagai usaha dalam memastikan bahwa seluruh kegiatan berjalan sebagaimana mestinya sekaligus sebagai antisipasi ketika ada persoalan yang perlu ditindak lanjuti dengan serius. Dalam lembaga pendidikan sepervisi sebagai kontrol utama bagi kepala madrasah dalam memastikan kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar menyesuaikan dengan tujuan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian ke MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan tentang implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan yang terdiri dari tiga fokus penelitian yaitu: 1) Bagaimana implementasi supervisi dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 2) Faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat pelaksanaan supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan; 3) Bagaimana dampak atau implikasi supervisi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MA Az-Zubair Tlanakan Pamekasan.

Abstract

Olah Bakat Siswa Aktif (OBASTIF)—a talent sport event for Madrasah Tsanawiyah level held at MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan Galis Pamekasan as a promotion strategy which in its implementation goes through stages namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The study focuses on (1) How is the planning of OBASTIF (2) How is the implementation of OBASTIF (3) How is the result of promotion through OBASTIF. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informant are school principal, teachers, and students of Miftahul Qulub Polagan. The research results show that: First. The planning for the OBASTIF covers: a). determining the purpose of the event, b). defining the forms of the event. c). Arranging the event details, d). forming a work team by involving OSIS (Student Council), e). preparing a budget. Second, the implementation process covers distributing brochures and giving delegation letters which are carried out a week before registration opens which are distributed by OSIS members; registration of the event is at MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan; technical meetings; competitions or events ; closing and giving award. Third, the results obtained by the institution are in accordance with what is expected namely MA Miftahul Qulub Polagan became famous to all schools of promotion target, as the institution which concerns on facilitating students in developing their talents.

Abstract

In this very competitive era of globalization, marketing is likened to the heartbeat for the continuity of educational institutions engaged in services. Promotion is one of the important activities that must be carried out by an institution to maintain its survival in order to develop and achieve the expected goals. The results of this study indicate that: First, the initial design of the promotion model in the form of advertising in the selection of new high achieving students online at MAN 2 Pamekasan started with a meeting to form a committee appointed to prepare everything in implementation. Second, the implementation of online promotional advertising features that are carried out in the selection of new outstanding students based on online using website media and WhatsApp in the registration process. And using website media, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and YouTube in promoting it. Third, the results of the promotion in selecting new outstanding students based online at MAN 2 Pamekasan got the best students as many as 222 students, and will be placed according to the interests of the students themselves. The 222 students were judged by the number of championships won and the level of championship they had.

Abstract

Manajemen kesiswaan memiliki peranan penting karena bertujuan untuk mengatur kegiatan-kegiatan peserta didik agar kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut menunjang proses pembelajaran di madrasah. Lebih lanjut, proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan lancar, tertib dan teratur sehingga dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pencapaian tujuan madrasah dan tujuan pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Manajemen kesiswaan yang dimaksud adalah program-program dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh kesiswaan untuk meningkatkan keberagamaan peserta didik, sehingga tumbuh menjadi insan yang cerdas, terampil, beriman, bertakwa, dan berakhlak mulia. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada bagaimana manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini sampai pada simpulan bahwa manajemen kesiswaan sebagai representasi program peningkatan kualitas beragama siswa di MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember dimulai sejak proses penerimaan siswa baru dengan menggunakan tes keagamaan dan psikotes. Kemudian dalam proses pembinaan disiplin siswa, dilakukan sistem reward dan punishment yang melibatkan layanan-layanan pendukung di sekolah. Kata Kunci: kualitas beragama siswa, madrasah, manajemen kesiswaan Student management has an important role to organize students’ activities, so that these activities will support the school learning process. Furthermore, the learning process which can run smoothly, orderly and regularly can contribute to the achievement of school goals and the whole education objectives. The definition of student management in this research is the programs and activities undertaken by student affair staff to improve the students diversity, so they willl grow to be a clever, skilled, faithful, religious, and noble person. A research focus is to reveal how the student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. This research concluded that the role of student management as a representation of religious quality improvement program in MTs Unggulan Nuris Jember was started from the new students’ recruitment through religious and psychological tests. Furthermore, they applied reward and punishment system which involved the school support services to maintain the students discipline process.
