Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penilaian kinerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Direktorat Jenderal Pajak area Kota Pangkalpinang. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi adalah pegawai Direktrorat Jenderal Pajak area Kota Pangkalpinang sejumlah 71 pegawai. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga jumlah sampel yang diambil berjumlah 58 pegawai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner pada Bulan Februari 2021. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hubungan keeratan antara penilaian kinerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah kuat, R = 0,806 atau sebesar 80,6%. Pengaruh (R Square / R ²) penilaian kinerja, kompensasi, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah sebesar 0,650 atau 65,0%. Sisanya sebesar 35,0% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) penilaian kinerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) kompensasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai, dan (3) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai Direktorat Jenderal Pajak area Kota Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh komunikasi terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh komunikasi terhadap kinerja pegawai, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di Bagian Keselamatan Berlayar, Penjagaan dan Patroli Kantor, pengaruh motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening antara komunikasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Bagian Keselamatan Berlayar, Penjagaan dan Patroli Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas III Tarakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai di Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas III Tarakan berjumlah 64 pegawai. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 41 orang. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan teknik pengambilan purposive sample dengan teknik analisis menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa variabel komunikasi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Variabel komunikasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja pegawai. Variabel motivasi kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Motivasi kerja sebagai variabel intervening antara komunikasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas III Tarakan.

Abstract

The research objectives to be achieved from this research are to analyze and prove: The effect of internal conflict on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on employee performance, the influence of internal conflict on employee performance and the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior variable as a mediating variable between internal conflict on performance. employees at the Tarakan Class III Port Authority and Harbormaster Office. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research approach, where this study will describe a number of variables related to the problem and unit under study among the phenomena being tested. The population in this study were all employees at the Port Authority and Class III Tarakan Port Authority totaling 64 employees. The sample of this study was 47 who were employees of the Class III Port Authority and Port Authority of Tarakan. For data analysis in this study using the help of the SmartPLS software. The results showed that the internal conflict variable did not have a significant effect on OCB, meaning that the first hypothesis in this study was rejected. The OCB variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the second hypothesis in this study is accepted. The internal conflict variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the third hypothesis in this study is accepted. The OCB variable is not an intervening variable between internal conflict and employee performance at the Port Authority and Port Authority Class III Tarakan

Abstract

Three popular models are used to describe the characteristics of the test items and estimate the ability of examinees under the dichotomous IRT model, namely the one-, two-, and three-parameter logistic models. The three-item parameters are discriminating power, difficulty, and pseudo-guessing. In the development of the dichotomous IRT model, carelessness or upper asymptote parameter was proposed, which forms a four-parameter logistic (4PL) model to accommodate a condition where a high-ability examinee gives an incorrect response to a test item when he/she should be able to respond to the test item correctly. However, the carelessness parameter and the 4PL model have not been widely accepted and used due to several factors, and people’s understanding of that parameter and strategies for estimating it is still inadequate. Therefore, this study aims to shed light on ideas underlying the 4PL model, the meaning of the carelessness parameter, and strategies used to estimate that parameter based on the extant literature. The focus of this study was then extended to demonstrating practical examples of estimating item and person parameters using the 4PL model using empirical data on responses of 1,000 students from the Indonesia Open University (Universitas Terbuka) on 21 of 30 multiple-choice items on the Business English test, a paper-and-pencil test. We mainly analyzed empirical data using the ‘mirt’ package in RStudio. We present the analysis results coherently so that IRT users would have a sufficient understanding of the 4PL model and the carelessness parameter, and they can estimate item and person parameters under the 4PL model.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the effect of the use of audiovisual media and interest in learning on science learning outcomes for class VI SDN 02 Trans Batumarta IX, a total of 38 students. This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a 2 x 2 factorial design. Sampling was done using a saturated sample technique. Data collection techniques using interest in learning questionnaires and tests. Data analysis technique used descriptive analysis with two-way ANOVA technique and Tukey test. Based on the calculation results, it was found that there were significant differences in science learning outcomes between students who were taught using audiovisual media and those who were taught with conventional learning. There are differences in science learning outcomes between students who have a high learning interest and students who have a low learning interest. Science learning outcomes for students who have a high interest in learning are higher when taught using audiovisual media compared to using conventional learning. Science learning outcomes for students who have a low interest in learning are higher when taught with conventional learning compared to learning using audiovisual media. There is an interaction effect between the use of audiovisual media and students' learning interest on science learning outcomes.
