Abstract

Currently, cases of misuse of intellectual property such as digital image have occurred frequently. Copyright protection needs to be done to reduce the occurrence of cases of misuse of a digital image by an unauthorized person. Watermark image can be used to mark the ownership of a digital image. In this paper, a copyright protection scheme based on visual cryptography for digital color image is proposed. Visual cryptography is chosen because it is easy to implement and has a high level of security. Unlike most conventional watermarking schemes, the image to be protected is not directly modified by embedding the watermark into it. Visual cryptography technique is used to generate two share images, namely ownership share image and master share image. To identify the ownership of the image, the watermark can be obtained by stacking the master share image with the ownership share image. Some experiments are carried out to assess the robustness and security performance of the proposed scheme. The results show that the proposed scheme meets the security criteria and has shown robustness against image processing attacks, demonstrated by the acquisition of the average value of the extracted watermark accuracy ratio that is equal to 0.94537.

Abstract

This paper presents a new rules-based of a real-time decision system for an autonomous wheeled robot with the holonomic-drive system. The robot uses decisions to avoid collisions with obstacles. The decision rules based on Grid-Edge-Depth Map. The Grid-Edge-Depth map represents the obstacle’s position and distance in the environment. The generation process of the Grid-Edge-Depth map presented in previous research. The decisions of the first scenario with no destination point are forward, stop, 90o right turn, and 90o left turn. The decisions of the second, and third scenarios with a destination point are forward, stop, 90o right turn, 90o left turn, 45o forward to the right, 45o forward to the left, slide to the right, and slide to the left. The proposal tested in a 5x3 metre living environment. Finally, the experiment resulted in 93.3% of navigation’s success for all the scenarios.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penilaian kesiapan sebelum penerapan rekam medis elektronik (RME) penting dilakukan, untuk optimalisasi penerapan RME. RSUD Dr.H. Abdul Moeloek sudah menerapkan SIMRS. Hal ini membuka kesempatan untuk pengembangan sistem informasinya dengan implementasi RME. Untuk itu diperlukan analisa kesiapan penerapan RME secara menyeluruh.Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam kepada pengambil keputusan dan pengguna RME di instalasi rawat jalan, observasi, dan telaah dokumen. Analisa kesiapan menggunakan EHR Readiness Starter Assessment dari DOQ-IT.Hasil: Kesiapan sumber daya manusia untuk penerapan RME di RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek berada pada range I, mengindikasikan belum ada pemahaman yang kuat tentang RME dan manfaatnya. Sumber daya manusia dibidang teknologi informasi masih sangat kurang, dan sebagian besar petugas belum memiliki pengetahuan mengenai RME. Budaya kerja organisasi berada pada range II, mengindikasikan bahwa telah ada pemahaman akan adanya perubahan budaya kerja organisasi bila RME diterapkan. Ada kecenderungan untuk menerima dan mendukung apabila RME di aplikasikan. Tata kelola dan kepemimpinan berada pada range II, mengindikasikan bahwa telah ada pemahaman tentang nilai RME terkait strategi dan dukungan manajemen TI. Pengambil keputusan berkomitmen terhadap penerapan RME. Infrastruktur berada pada range III, mengindikasikan bahwa kapasitas teknologi informasi cukup kuat dan kemungkinan untuk berhasil dalam adopsi RME cukup tinggi. Kesimpulan: Secara keseluruhan, kesiapan untuk penerapan RME berada pada range II. Ini menunjukkan bahwa RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Cukup Siap untuk Penerapan Rekam Medis Elektronik.

Abstract

Detecting a vehicle logo is the first step before realizing the identity of the logo. However, the detection of logos can pose difficulties due to various factors, including logo variations, differing scales and orientations, background interference, varying lighting conditions, and partial obstruction. This paper presents a vehicle logo detection method using hand-crafted features. We used a combination of Maximally Stable Extremal Region (MSER) and Vertical Sobel. We combine vertical Sobel with MSER to overcome MSER's limitation in recognizing objects of different sizes. These two features are merged using a closing morphology operation to form blobs selected as logo candidate areas. Moreover, a Support Vector Machine (SVM) is implemented to choose a logo area by analyzing each candidate's Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG). The proposed method was compared with other methods by implementing them on the same dataset. The significant advantage of using MSER-Vertical Sobel is its fast computation time. It is faster than other approaches that use non-handcrafted features. The test results show that the MSER-Vertical Sobel can achieve high accuracy and the fastest computation time.
