Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, which has not subsided, it has had a negative impact on the economic sector, one of which is in offices. In this case, the government has issued a "New Normal" policy, which is a policy to allow normal activities but added by implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Virus. One of these protocols is to monitor body temperature and oxygen saturation which functions to recognize the symptoms of the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study is to design and create a monitoring system tool using the Internet of Things (IoT) concept as a step that facilitates the automation process via the Internet and is equipped with NODEMCU as a control medium, MAX30102 sensor to measure oxygen saturation, MLX90614 sensor as a body temperature sensor. , and a buzzer as a warning, servo motor as a door driver, and a website as a display medium. The results of this study after testing for 5 times, it is ensured that the results of monitoring oxygen saturation and body temperature can work well according to the system that has been designed. This has been processed using the MLX90614 sensor which has set the specified body temperature limit, namely the normal limit for body temperature value >=33°C and <=37°C . As well as using a buzzer and servo motor as the output of the detection of a predetermined body temperature value.
