Abstract

This paper explores the service to the horticultural community of LKSA Widhya Asih Blimbingsari located in the developing Blimbingsari Digital Tourism Village area, in the State district of Bali. Tells about the development of the community service program for empowering pre-adolescents and LKSA staff Widhy Asih Blimbingsari through the manufacture of fermented products and their derivatives based on rice washing water waste by the Dhyana Pura University team. This project has stimulated the home industry entrepreneurship movement among staff and pre-teens in the LKSA Widhya Asih Blimbingsari community. Using a logical framework in analyzing the steps in an effort to empower existing human resources through kitchen waste, horticulture and fermentation products from rice washing water waste, potentially supporting Blimbingsari tourism, this paper discusses the gap between the problems faced by LKSA Whidhya Asih in terms of kitchen waste. with the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic condition, as a long-term desired anticipation, then describes the activities taken followed by the outputs produced and the results achieved from the implementation of the program, and notes some real impacts that have occurred in the LKSA Widhya Asih Blimbingsari community since its inception program.

Abstract

Human resources are the first elements of an organization. This study aims to find out and analyze the efforts made by the human resource (HR) department in improving the employee performance of JW Marriott Surabaya. This research was conducted to Human Resources, they are Assistant HR and Training Manager and Human Resources Coordinator took using Purposive Sampling technique, which is considered to know the efforts to improve employees’ performance. Data collection techniques by using observation, interviews, documentation, and studies literature. Data analysis in this study uses a qualitative method with technical triangulation analysis. The results showed that performance improvement efforts began with, employee placement, training and development, discipline in employee attendance, and the provision of salaries and compensation to employees but the need for supervision, multiplying variants of methods in training, and acting decisively to employees who are less disciplined to existing regulations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of green tourism in supporting the concept of sustainable tourism in the Mount Rinjani National Park (Taman Nasional Gunung Rinjani/TNGR) area, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The primary data of this study was generated through interviews with several informants, while the secondary data was obtained through a review of literature, books, journals, and online media. Techniques of data analysis using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study reveal that the application of green tourism in the Mount Rinjani National Park area is quite good. This can be seen from the awareness of the community, organizations and related agencies in carrying out clean up and tree planting activities, both in tourist areas and the tropical rain forest with its rich biodiversity. Additionally, the green tourism concept is able to support sustainable tourism in national park tourism areas, especially in environmental, economic, socio-cultural sustainability, and environmental education.

Abstract

Desa Tista merupakan desa yang berada di kecamatan Kerambitan, Kabupaten Tabanan. Desa Tista memiliki beberapa UMKM yang berkembang dan bisa dijadikan pilihan sebagai buah tangan atau souvenir bagi wisatawan antara lain ada usaha keripik ladrang dan kacang sembunyi, kedua UMKM ini menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan ini karena merupakan produk yang menjadi souvenir khas Desa Tista. Permasalahan yang dialami kedua mitra ini dari sisi produksi yaitu terdapat keterbatasan alat untuk menggoreng sehingga menyebabkan kurang bervariasinya produk mitra, pekerja belum menggunakan APD serta kemasan produk hanya menggunakan plastik bening yang dijepret sehingga tidak menarik dan cepat layu. Permasalahan dari sisi operasional adalah manajemen keuangan mitra masih tidak terstruktur. Selain itu, dari segi pemasaran, mitra hanya melakukan pemasaran langsung atau door to door. Solusi yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan tersebut adalah pemberian alat bantu produksi, memberikan pelatihan Kesehatan dan Keselamatan kerja karyawan melalui penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD), pendampingan pembuatan variasi produk rasa baru serta pedas dengan leveling, pelatihan pengemasan produk, pelatihan pengelolaan keuangan secara benar serta pelatihan pemasaran secara online baik melalui sosial media. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan terdapat perbedaan waktu produksi sebelum dan setelah adanya peningkatan alat produksi yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian. Waktu produksi berkurang 50% sehingga dengan waktu yang sama seperti sebelumnya mitra dapat menghasilkan lebih banyak produk yang artinya jumlah produksi juga turut meningkat 50%. Dalam proses produksinya, mitra beserta karyawan lainnya sudah menggunakan APD lengkap. Evaluasi juga dilakukan terhadap pengemasan produk dimana dengan kemasan dan label, saat ini mitra sudah menggunakannya dan 100% produk mitra sudah berisi label usaha.

Abstract

Daya tarik wisata Kokokan di Desa Petulu merupakan satu keunikan yang sulit untuk ditemukan di daerah lainnya, namun, pada kenyataanya, daya tarik wisata ini masih mendapatkan sedikit kunjungan wisatawan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat agar ikut serta secara terpadu dalam menyukseskan kepariwisataan di Desa Petulu dan meningkatkan kemampuan pengelolaan daya tarik wisata yang secara ditujukan kepada Pokdarwis setempat. Adapaun metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi kegiatan, seminar pengelolaan daya tarik wisata, dan pelatihan kepemanduan wisatawan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan, masyarakat desa Petulu menunjukkan persepsi yang positif dengan tingkat kepuasan yang tinggi pada indikator perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan.
