Abstract

Introduction: Flow phase with high cardiac output and increased metabolic conditions. When metabolic conditions are not stable there will be a long duration of complications until death. One of the benefits of Nutrition Risk Screening (NRS-2002) is reliable inpatient care for critical patients. While the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) shows speed in the classification of nutritional disorders. Methods: This study used the observational design method. The sampling technique in this study used Consecutive sampling in accordance with the criteria consisting of 31 respondents. This was to determine the specificity and sensitivity values of NRS 2002 and MUST using contingency table analysis and for the Area Under Curve (AUC) using Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve analysis. Results: The sensitivity values in MUST was predicted for metabolic conditions which was higher than when using NRS 2002, but the specificity and value of AUC (Area Under Curve) was higher using NRS 2002 than using MUST when it came to predicting metabolic conditions. Conclusions: There were differences in effectiveness between use of Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS-2002) with the Malnutrition Universal Screening Tool (MUST) in relation to changes in metabolic conditions of trauma patients. NRS-2002 is more effective than MUST. NRS 2002 has the ability to identify patients more precisely who are likely to have a negative outcome.

Abstract

Hypertension is a health problem for the majority of people in Indonesia. The Efforts to reduce the incidence rate of hypertension and controling blood pressure by changing the healthy lifestyle and by being in taking. To realize healthy lifestyle and behavior of hypertension, self-efficacy and support of the family as well as health care cooperation with the parties, the family, and society are required. The purpose of this research to know if self-efficacy and family support stabilizing blood pressure of patients with hypertension. This research is a pre-experimental research with One-Group Pre-Post test design approach. The study was conducted in 50 people with the stratified random sampling technique in Ketawang Village, Gondang Districtor 8 weeks. Measurement of the blood pressure was the Spignomanometer merk Onemed was given before and after the patients were given counseling self-efficacy and family support. The data was analyzed SPSS 21 Wilcoxon test. The Statistical test results obtained p value 0.000 to sistole and diatole so that there is a meaningful that self-efficacy counseling and family support stabilizing blood pressure of patients hypertension. Self-efficacy counseling and family support controling blood pressure for patients with hypertension, so they needs to be developed to reduce hypertension complications.

Abstract

One therapy that can reduce pain intensity is keroncong music therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of keroncong music therapy on reducing pain intensity in post trauma patients at RSUD Nganjuk. This study used a pre-experimental research design with the One Group Pre-Post Test Design approach. The population that met the inclusion criteria. The number of samples is 22 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The results of the study from 22 respondents, before being given therapy almost all respondents were 18 respondents with severe pain intensity (82%), while the intensity of pain after being given music therapy most respondents were 15 respondents with moderate pain intensity (68%). The Wilcoxon test results obtained pvalue = 0,000 α = (0,05), so H1 was accepted. This shows that there is an influence of keroncong music therapy on the reduction in pain intensity in post trauma patients in RSUD Nganjuk.

Abstract

Abstract

Modern wound dressing is a technique of wound care that focuses on moist principles so that the use of wound dressing plays an important role in accelerating the wound healing process. This study aims to determine the Effect of Modern Wound Care with Foam Dressing on the Wound Healing Process of Post Patient's Femur Fracture Surgery. The study used a pre-experiment one group pretest posttest design. The sampling used was accident sampling. The independent variable of the study was modern wound care with foam dressing, and the dependent variable of the study was the wound healing process, assessed by Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment tools. The results of the study before the intervention, the mean Bates-Jensen Wound Assessment score was 23.50 with a standard deviation of 1.080, a minimum value of 23.00 and a maximum value of 26.00. The results of the study after the intervention, the mean score was 15.50 with a standard deviation of 0.850, a minimum value of 15.50 and a maximum value of 17.00. Post operative wound care with foam dressings is expected to be applied and routinely carried out according to the wound care schedule of postoperative patients in order to improve the quality of health services.
