Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Bilingual Class Mathematics and Sciences Educational Teacher State University of Jakarta (PGMIPABI) State University of Jakarta. This research is evaluation program, conducted at Faculty of Mathematics and Sciences, State University of Jakarta, use Countenance Stake models. Based on the result data analysis and data interpretation formulated: (1) PGMIPABI Program at State University of Jakarta conducted professionally, with clear legal basis, and involve stakeholders; (2) PGMIPABI program at State University of Jakarta, conducted with support by lecturer staff, utilizing the integrated infrastructure management, so as meet the satisfaction by students; (3) PGMIPABI program of State University of Jakarta, produces MIPA teacher candidates with good performance and well received by bilingual school when a field study. Based on the result, can concluded the PGMIPABI State University of Jakarta was effective. Then researcher recommended this program will be continuous, but the Lecturer ability about teaching in English on mathematic and sciences will be improve. Keywords: PGMIPABI, Evaluation Program, Stake Countenance Model Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program pendidikan guru MIPA Kelas Bilingual (PGMIPABI). Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian evaluasi program, yang dilakukan di Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan menggunakan pendekatan Model Countenance Stake. Menggunakan angket, pedoman wawancara sebagai alat pengumpul data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan interpretasi data dirumuskan kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) program PGMIPABI Universitas Negeri Jakarta direncanakan secara professional, dengan dasar hukum yang jelas, dan melibatkan stake holders; (2) Pelaksanaan PGMIPABI Universitas Negeri Jakarta didukung oleh tenaga pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, memanfaatkan sarana prasarana penunjang yang dikelola secara terpadu, sehingga memberikan kepuasan terhadap mahasiswa; namun masih sangat terbatas dosen yang menguasai kemampuan mengajar dengan pengantar bahasa inggris, (3) PGMIPABI Universitas Negeri Jakarta menghasilkan calon guru MIPA Bilingual dengan prestasi baik dan diterima dengan baik oleh sekolah bilingual di tempat mereka PPL (Program Pengalaman Lapangan). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa PGMIPABI sudah berjalan secara efektif. Peneliti merekomendasikan sebaiknya PGMIPABI dilanjutkan, dan perlu peningkatan kemampuan dosen menggunakan bahasa inggris dalam pembelajaran. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to develop and produce a practicum set of dynamic fluid as a media lab practicum teaching high school physics class XI. The research was conducted in 81 Senior High School Jakarta, 89 Senior High School Jakarta and 115 Senor High School Jakarta. The method used, methods of Research and Development which refers to the process of development research Dick and Carey. This research was conducted through several phases, namely (1) assess the demands of curriculum standards in 2013, (2) designing media and manufacturing, (3) the development, test legibility or small scale test, test experts, tested against a teacher in physics and high school students in class XI. The instrument uses a Likert scale ratings. The result of the development of fluid dynamic lab set to produce a tool that consists of a large tank of small holes (TBLK) of the inner diameter of 0.8 cm and 1.6 cm in five holes with a height variation, TBLK diameter of the inner circumference of 0.8 cm with a variation of the angle 20,5o and 30o five holes with a height variation, venturimeter with manometer fluid containing oil, venturimeter without manometer, large fluid capacity tubs, manual book and the Student Activity Sheet (LKS). The test results set against the dynamic fluid lab experts and students gain excellent assessment level is in the range of interpretation score of 81-100%. Keywords: Practicum Set of Dynamic Fluid, Development Research, and XI Grade of High School Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menghasilkan set praktikum fluida dinamis sebagai media praktikum pembelajaran fisika SMA kelas XI. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA N 81 Jakarta, SMA N 89 Jakarta, dan SMA N 115 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) yang mengacu pada proses penelitian pengembangan Dick dan Carey. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu (1) mengkaji tuntutan standar kurikulum 2013, (2) perancangan media dan pembuatan, (3) tahap pengembangan, uji keterbacaan atau uji skala kecil, uji tenaga ahli, diuji cobakan terhadap guru Fisika dan siswa SMA kelas XI. Instrumen penilaian menggunakan skala Likert. Hasil pengembangan set praktikum fluida dinamis menghasilkan alat yang terdiri dari tangki besar lubang kecil (TBLK) diameter lingkar dalam 0,8 cm dan 1,6 cm sebanyak lima lubang dengan variasi ketinggian, TBLK diameter lingkar dalam 0,8 cm dengan variasi sudut 20,5o dan 30o sebanyak lima lubang dengan variasi ketinggian, venturimeter dengan manometer yang berisikan fluida minyak, venturimeter tanpa manometer, bak tampung fluida besar, manual book dan Lembar Kegiatan Siswa (LKS). Hasil uji set praktikum fluida dinamis terhadap tenaga ahli dan siswa memperoleh tingkat penilaian yang sangat baik yaitu berada pada rentang interpretasi skor 81-100%. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to develop the props with the concept of momentum by using motion sensors. The method used is a method of research and development (Research and Development). In the implementation of the study outlines the development of research carried out in two stages: Theoretical and Empirical. Results of this research is a props momentum that has been developed and can be used by high school teachers who will perform physical demonstration of the momentum of an object. This tool can also be used as a media demonstration teacher for high school students to explain the physics of matter other. From the test results Viewer tool development momentum in SMAN 100 Jakarta indicate that the tool has been able to meet the expectations of teachers and learners in the orientation of the development of the various needs of props for high school students in the learning process of physics. Based on the results of this study concluded that, with the development of props momentum sensor system has met the criteria of props as a medium of learning physics. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan alat peraga dengan konsep momentum dengan menggunakan sensor gerak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Dalam pelaksanaan penelitian secara garis besar penelitian pengembangan dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap yaitu Teoritik dan Empiris. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah alat peraga momentum yang sudah dikembangkan dan dapat digunakan oleh guru SMA yang akan melakukan peragaan fisika tentang momentum suatu benda. Alat ini juga dapat dipakai guru sebagai media demonstrasi bagi siswa SMA untuk menjelaskan materi fisika lainnya. Dari hasil uji coba pengembangan Alat Peraga Momentum di SMAN 100 Jakarta menunjukan bahwa alat telah mampu memenuhi harapan bagi guru dan peserta didik dalam orientasi pengembangan berbagai kebutuhan alat peraga bagi siswa SMA dalam proses pembelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, pengembangan alat peraga momentum dengan sistem sensor telah memenuhi keriteria alat peraga sebagai media pembelajaran fisika. Kata-kata kunci: pengembangan alat peraga, alat peraga momentum dengan sistem sensor, media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract School Physics Laboratory Management is one of the subjects in Physics Education Study Program on FMIPA UNJ which aims to build the competence of school laboratory management for physics education students. It have been developed integrated teaching materials consisting of syllabus, One Semester (RPS) Plan, hand out, Student Activity Sheet, and Student Performance Appraisal Sheet for Laboratory Administration Competence. The development model referred to is ADDIE. Has been validation with college Lecturer Physics Education Studies Program FMIPA UNJ, with the focus of validation of syllabus and One-Semester Lecture Plan (RPS). The recommendation of peers is the use of the tools developed in the lecture process. One Semester (RPS), hand out, Student Activity Sheet, and Student Performance Appraisal Sheet have been tested against the students. Student responses to lectures were collected using a questionnaire consisting of four pieces of grain. Students appreciate 84,59, meaning very good. The effectiveness of the use of lecture tools in building student competence is very high, which obtained an average score of 91.65 very good category. The results of the experiments show that the lecture tools developed are suitable for use as teaching materials. Keywords: integrated lecturing tools, student competence, laboratory management. Abstrak Manajemen Laboratorium Fisika Sekolah merupakan salah satu mata kuliah pada Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNJ yang bertujuan membangun kompetensi pengelolaan laboratorium sekolah bagi mahasiswa pendidikan fisika. Telah dikembangkan bahan ajar terpadu yang terdiri dari silabus, Rencana Perkuliahan Satu Semester (RPS), hand out,Lembar kegiatan Mahasiswa, dan Lembar Penilaian Kinerja Mahasiswa untuk kompetensi Administrasi Laboratorium. Model pengembangan yang diacu adalah ADDIE. Telah dilakukan validasi sejawat dengan Dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNJ, dengan focus validasi silabus dan Rencana Perkuliahan Satu Semester (RPS). Rekomendaso teman sejawat adalah penggunaan perangkat yang dikembangkan dalam proses perkuliahan. Rencana Perkuliahan Satu Semester (RPS), hand out,Lembar kegiatan Mahasiswa, dan Lembar Penilaian Kinerja Mahasiswa telah diujicoba terhadap mahasiswa. Respon mahasiswa terhadap perangkat perkuliahan dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari empatbelah butir. Mahasiswa memberikan apresiasi 84,59, artinya sangat baik. Efektivitas penggunaan perangkat perkuliahan dalam membangun kompetensi mahasiswa sangat tinggi, dimana diperoleh skor rerata sebesar 91,65 kategori sangat baik. Hasil ujicoba menunjukan bahwa perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar. Kata-kata Kunci: perangkat perkuliahan terpadu, kompetensi mahasiswa, pengelolaan laboratorium.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a knowledge-enrichment physics book of ice and snow that is worthy of use as an enrichment material on physics subject. This research is a research and development with an ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) model. The developed book referred from the Central of Curriculum and Book guideline so that the developed book can be recommended as enrichment material for high-school students. The developed book uses communicative language, attractive illustrations, and information concerning ice and snow with updated science knowledge. The result by physics expert on the developed enrichment book is 94.12% with a category "very good," media expert 87.50% with a category "very good," and with the same category is also given by education expert who gave a score 92.04%. The result of the product trial test shows that students accept the developed enrichment books with "very good," which represent an average score of 90.06%. Based on the validation and product trials test, it concluded that the enrichment book titled “Ice and Snow” are worthy to be used as enrichment materials on physics.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and produce an e-module of physics using a creative problem-solving model equipped with HOTS problems on the kinetic theory of gases material as independent teaching material for high school students of class XI IPA. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R & D) method using the model of Dick & Carey. The creative problem-solving model has six learning stages. The electronic module is equipped with HOTS questions, where HOTS is a high- level thinking skill that includes three indicators, including analyzing skills (C4), evaluating (C5), and creating (C6). The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. This e-module has gone through a validation test involving material experts, media experts, and learning experts. The results of expert validation are 82.83%. The result in the field-test by physics teachers shows an average score of 83.05%. The field-test results by the students of SMAN 16 Jakarta shows an average score of 93.44%. The result of the effectiveness test had a gain score of 0.502 indicates that the e-module can increase students’ high order thinking skills in the middle classification. These results show that the e-module of physics using a creative problem-solving model equipped with HOTS questions in the kinetic theory of gases material can be feasible as independent teaching material and can increase students’ high order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Macromedia Flash-based test device using Horizontal Anchor Items for the National Examination in High School Physics lessons. The research method used in this study is research and development. This research and development uses a qualitative and quantitative approach and uses the Research and Development (R & D) development model of the Dick and Carey model. The results of the validation test of the National Examination test instrument by material experts showed that the National Examination test instrument that had been developed had very good quality (91.25%) when viewed in terms of material. Besides, the results of the validation test of the National Examination test instrument by media experts showed that the National Examination test instruments that had been developed had very good quality (87.5%) when viewed in terms of media. In the first stage of the empirical test, the first reliability test device was quite good, while the second test device showed sufficient reliability. Besides that, the two test kits showed that all items were declared valid. The results of the Person fit for the test respondent of the first test device, and the second test device showed that there were no respondents who were inconsistent, careless, lucky, or cheating. Abstract

This study aims to develop products such as “Poster equipped with Video (POSEVI)” that worth to used as a physics learning media for high school students with fluids at rest material. POSEVI is an educational poster equipped with educational videos, so the students shall receive visual learning (through poster) and audio-visual learning (through video). The videos contained by POSEVI can be accessed by scanning QR Codes printed on the poster. POSEVI was designed by using the research & development method that looked up to the ADDIE development model. At the beginning of this research, the need assessment questionnaire had shared as early research. In the Design stage, we should have inserted the material and contents into the poster and video. Then, in the Develop stage, POSEVI was validated by expert validators to learn how feasible the product is according to the result from expert validators. By the implementation stage, the field test was conducted limitedly by involving the XI grade students to learn about POSEVI’s feasibility as a learning media after revising and correcting from the expert validator. The final of this research is an evaluation by revising that one may accomplish POSEVI as physics’ learning media compatible with students.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop a learning video on circular motion subject as a physics learning media for high school students. The developed video is prepared based on the guided inquiry learning stage and completed with the Student Worksheet. This research used Research and Development (R&D) method, with ADDIE model. The developed video has been through feasibility test with the achievement percentage of 91.8% from material expert, 96.8% from media expert, and 85.9% from learning expert with excellent interpretation. The product trial results show the percentage of achievement of 81.7% from educator and 89.4% from learner. There is an increase of result was 54.4 to 79.8 with a normalized gain test of 0.56 Based on the result of feasibility test and experiment, it can be concluded that instructional video using guided inquiry method in circular motion subject is worth to be used as physics learning media in senior high school and improved students’ learning outcomes in medium category.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran pada materi gerak melingkar sebagai media pembelajaran fisika untuk siswa SMA. Video yang dikembangkan disusun berdasarkan tahapan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan dilengkapi dengan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D), model ADDIE. Video yang dikembangkan telah melalui tahap uji kelayakan dengan persentase pencapaian 91.8% menurut ahli materi, 96.8% menurut ahli media, dan 85.9% menurut ahli pembelajaran dengan interpretasi sangat baik. Hasil uji coba produk menunjukkan persentase pencapaian 81.7% menurut pendidik dan 89.4% menurut peserta didik. Melalui uji coba kepada peserta didik, didapatkan kenaikan dari hasil pretest sebesar 54.4 menjadi 79.8 saat postest. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan dan uji coba dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran menggunakan metode inkuiri terbimbing pada materi gerak melingkar hasil pengembangan telah layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran fisika SMA.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of practical tool viscometer to measure the viscosity of the fluid using the method ball free fall to utilize hall effect sensor UGN3503 as detection sensor iron ball as it passes through the fluid and causes the magnetic field of the sensor is changed because the sensor is blocked by a magnetic iron ball, the magnitude magnetic field strength by a hall effect sensor changed into electrical quantities such as voltage output. The voltage generated is to be processed and recorded as the travel time by the microcontroller Atmega8. The method used is the method of Research and Development with the model design using ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). The steps in the development of practical tools viscometer is analysis, the initial product design, develop products, revisions and enhancements, implementation and evaluation. Retrieval of data validation using instruments such as questionnaires to matter experts, media experts and teachers. Viscosity value is determined by measuring the travel time of the ball, the density of ball and fluid, and the distance of the ball.
