Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatan kreativitas guru kewirausahaan SMA dan SMK dalam membuat RPP berbasis pantai dan laut khususnya di daerah pesisir pantai dan laut Sidoarjo. Pelatihan model pembelajaran saintifik berbasis pantai dan laut ini memiliki manfaat bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pedagogik guru-guru kewirausahaan SMA dan SMK se-Sidoarjo. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, guru kewirausahaan dapat mengaitkan antara materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata siswa. Selanjutnya, siswa pun dapat membuat hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dengan penerapannya dalam kehidupan mereka sebagai anggota keluarga dan masyarakat. Peran guru kewirausahaan dituntut supaya mampu meningkatkan kreativitasnya dalam membuat RPP yang berbasis pantai dan laut supaya dapat mengembangkan potensi sumber daya alam pantai dan laut di daerahnya masing-masing, dan mampu menciptakan produk inovatif dari sumber daya hasil pantai dan laut tersebut.

Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior is valued as work-related behavior that is not related to the formal organizational reward system, and, in aggregate, encourages the effective functioning of the organization. This is shown from some data obtained that the teaching staff or lecturers of Universitas Negeri Surabaya (Unesa) from the existing basic tasks and functions, which consists of research and social services, are considered not enough to be done only during working hours. Therefore this study sees that OCB is conducted by a Unesa's lecturers. This study aims to determine the effect of Internal Branding and Brand Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior for teaching staff. This research uses a quantitative approach, using the questionnaire method by determining accidental sampling. The formulation of the technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Through multiple linear regression analysis techniques, the findings in this study answer the research hypothesis between ain, (1) the influence of Internal Branding on Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teaching staff at Unesa has a positive impact, the coefficient results showed 0.183 (0.000 <0.05), then the first hypothesis test accepted, (2) Effect of Brand Commitment on Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a positive effect, with a coefficient result of 0.44 (0,000 <0.05) then the results of the second hypothesis test are accepted, (3) Effect of Internal Branding and Brand Commitment on Organization Citizenship Behavior is stated Significantly, the F-count results show 136,299 (0,000 <0.5) then the results of the third hypothesis test are accepted.

Abstract

This study is dedicated to expand embroidery product of small scale industry at Sidoarjo. The objective is to analyze the effect of buying motives based on embroidery product characteristic, such as price, design, style, color mixture, art value, result, quality and phisical appearance, toward its buying frequency.Based on study at Desa Kedensari and Desa Kludan Kecamatan Tanggulangin found that the 288 respondent, that included housewife, women workers, and young adult segment, state that price, design, color mixture, art value, result and quality effect the embroidery buying frequency. Price is the foremost characteristic that effect buying frequency.This study refuse the first hypothesis, that is price, design, style, color mixture, art value, result, quality and phisical appearance do not effect buying frequency concurrently. The stepwise test explain that (1) price, design, style, color mixture, art value, result, quality and phisical apearance effect the buying frequency for all respondents both separately and concurrently. Determination coefficient (R Squared) is 0,7341, means independent variable contribute to dependent variable as 73,41% and the 26,29% rest is from other independent variables. (2) Price is the foremost variable that effect buying frequency of embroidery product. Its contribution is 15,45%..

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of job satisfaction, organizational culture, dan competence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior in PT. Mubarak Ainama Kunt Surabaya. This research is quantitative. The data that will be used in this study is systematic data (numbers) which will produce conclusions that can be generalized. The data in this study use primary and secondary data. Primary data in the form of data obtained through questionnaires to 42 respondents as research samples and secondary data in the form of data company profile company. The statistical analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression. The measurement scale of this study uses a Likert scale The results of this study are job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This shows that better job satisfaction in the company, the higher the Organizational Citizenship Behavior felt by employees. Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This shows that the better the organizational culture in the company, the higher the Organizational Citizenship Behavior felt by employees. Competence has no significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Implementation of competencies is carried out conditionally according to the needs of the company not bound by a certain period. This shows that the good or bad implementation of competencies in the company will not affect the increase or decrease in Organizational Citizenship Behavior employees at PT. Mubarak Ainama Kunt Surabaya.

Abstract

The fishery sector has made important economic contributions to the island nation of Indonesia. In particular, small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) fisheries, the owners of which are mostly Muslims with high school educations, have exhibited high self-confidence and effective development. However, the effects of other factors, such as self-efficacy, islamic human capital, and financial literacy, on SME performance have yet to be discussed in detail. Thus, this quantitative study examines the effects of self-efficacy, Islamic human capital and financial literacy on 31 SMEs in Lamongan, East Java. According to the results, self-efficacy had a significant effect on SME performance, whereas both Islamic human capital and financial literacy did not have an impact on such performance.

Abstract

Sidoarjo has been known as the center of SMEs. As for embroidery product, price variable is the most dominant variable. The research that will be conducted  in based on the previous research that has been conducted by the researchers regarding the customer perception of the characteristics of embroidery product. This research in an exploratory research. The research method that will be used is qualitative  descriptive which will be quantified by Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Method. The subject of this research  is customers, embroidery experts, and TTG experts. The results of the survey consist of data regarding the customer expectation on embroidery product in 4 (four) embroidery outlets in Sidoarjo. The data collected is arranged into the customer quality demand which subsequently comprised into the construct of quality performance. Afterward, the data is processed using WELCOME program and applied into an electric embroidery machine which could produce formatted embroidery pattern. Embroidery patterns that are desired by customers are flowery type such jasmine, rose, cherry blossom, and Kamboja with size in a range of 1-3 cm, which is located in a variety of places, using KESET technique, and modified into 2 dimension with beads, and the color that is preferred in secondary color such as orange, violet, and green, and the type of fabrics that is favored is cotton. In term of the technological capability that is possessed by the crafter, all  demand for the customer  quality construct can be satisfied. This is possible because a meeting regarding the capability and competence of the crafter has been arranged before the survey  was conducted. All crafter that is surveyed in embroidery pattern  and process is still manual without the use of computerized machine with embroidery pattern software. Key words: embroidery, QFD, customer satisfaction, and Sidoarjo.

Abstract

WORKSHOP MODEL BASED ONLINE LEARNING AS AN ALTERNATIVE OF ECONOMICS LEARNING IN COVID-19 ERA. The Covid-19 pandemic spread rapidly since March 2020; it impacts in a change in the learning mode from face-to-face learning to online learning. It led various problems felt by teachers and students. Online learning that has been carried out is dominated by assignments and minimal interaction between teachers and students. One of the factors causing the ineffectiveness of online learning is that teachers are not accustomed to arranging online learning. The purpose of this service community activity is to provide training for Economics teachers in developing online learning models as an alternative of Economics learning. The subject of this service community activity are Economics teachers in East Java. These activities are divided into two stages, namely (1) seminars, where participants get material related to the essence of online learning; and (2) assistance in developing online learning models. The results of this service community activity concluded that most of the participants gave a positive response to the training that had been implemented and they were able to arrange online classes well.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between work-life balance and employee performance through an organizational commitment to the employees of PT. Bhinneka Life Indonesia Surabaya branch. This type of research is quantitative research. The study used a saturated sample technique with a total of 50 permanent employees at PT. Bhinneka Life Indonesia Surabaya branch. From the results of statistical analysis, this study uses Partial Least Square (PLS) and is assisted with smartPLS 3.0 software. This research shows the results of work-life balance has no relationship with employee performance. Work-life balance has a positive effect on commitment. While commitment has a relationship with performance. And the commitment variables can mediate the effect between work-life balance on employee performance. This study shows the results of work-life balance have a smaller direct relationship than an indirect effect on the performance of employee. The implications are based on results of research applied to companies that superiors can provide training to employees on the importance of managing the time between life at work and life outside of work such as life at home. Also, the employees can pay attention to their comfort while working or in receiving bonuses when the targets set by the company have been achieved. Supervisors can also provide other training to the employees to improve the quality of their work.

Abstract

Disiplin belajar menjadi hal yang penting dalam proses pelaksanaan pendidikan, rendahnya tingkat disiplin belajar pada siswa dapat menjadikan proses pembelajaran terhambat. Adanya sikap disiplin belajar pada siswa juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor dari dalam diri dan luar diri siswa. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan guna mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel konsep diri, lingkungan keluarga dan motivasi belajar terhadap disiplin belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 14 Surabaya. Dengan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dan menghasilkan jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu sebanyak 104 siswa dari kelas XI IPS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket atau kuisioner dan untuk menganalis data menggunakan metode analisis data deskriptif serta analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa konsep diri berpengaruh secara positif terhadap disiplin belajar. Variabel lingkungan keluarga berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap disiplin belajar serta variabel motivasi belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 14 Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif konsep diri, lingkungan keluarga dan motivasi belajar terhadap disiplin belajar ekonomi, sehingga penelitian ini dapat dijadikan masukan guna memperkuat hubungan kerjasama antara siswa, orang tua dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran ekonomi.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to improve student learning outcomes. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model Thiagarajan which includes stages Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate but the Disseminate stage is not carried out. The findings showed that the feasibility of the material, language, evaluation, and graphics of 87%, 85%, 85%, 87% with a very decent category. The average N-gain score got a score of 0.6 categorized as moderate and classical completeness of student learning outcomes is 90%. While the results of the responses of students get an average percentage of 90,4% categorized as very feasible. Improved learning outcomes can be obtained using MMPII worksheets which include metacognitive features namely planning, monitoring, and evaluating. This study uses limited trials that were conducted on 20 students of XI IPS class Kanjeng Sepuh Senior High School.
