Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam tulisan ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan motorik halus yang disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor. Upaya mengatasi masalah tersebut telah dilakukan PTK melalui kegiatan melipat kertas. Subyek dan settingnya anak kelompok B TK Dharma wanita Labuan Panimba yang berjumlah 20 anak, Rancanganya adalah tindakan kelas yang dimulai dari perenanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi, Data dikumpulkan dengan cara observasi, tanya jawab, pemberian tugas dan dokumentasi, selanjutnya dianalisa secara persentasi. Data yang dikumpulkan saat pra tindakan kemampuan motorik melipat kertas menjadi bentuk pesawat kategori BSH, MB dan BB 20%, melipat kertas menjadi bentuk perahu BSB, BSH, MB dan BB 20%. melipat kertas menjadi bentuk baju BSH, MB dan BB 15% dan kecepatan menyelesikan tugas BSH, MB dan BB 15%. Setelah dilakukan tindakan , disimpulkan melalui kegiatan melipat kertas dapat meningkatkan kemampuan motorik anak terbukti ada peningkatan kemampuan motorik dari siklus I ke siklus II . Melipat kertas menjadi bentuk pesawat dari 45% menjadi 80% kategori BSB, BSH dan MB, melipat kertas menjadi bentuk perahu kategori BSB, BSH dan MB dari 45% menjadi 85% , melipat kertas menjadi bentuk baju kategori BSB, BSH dan MB dari 40% menjadi 85% kecepatan melipat kertas menjadi aneka bentuk dari 40% menjadi 80%. Secara umum terjadi peningkatan rata-rata 40% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Meskipun masih ada anak yang belum meningkat kemampuan motorik halusnya atau kategori BB 17,5 % .Kata Kunci : Motorik halus, melipat kertas

Abstract

Modul fisika berbasis scientific approach dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang disesuaikan dengan hakikat sains sebagai proses, karakteristik materi fluida statis, dan penggunaan kurikulum 2013 yang identik dengan scientific approach. Penggunaan modul ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) karakteristik hasil pengembangan modul fisika berbasis scientific approach, (2) keefektifan penggunaan modul fisika berbasis scientific approach dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang mengacu pada model Four-D (4D). Data dari angket dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan persentase sedangkan data hasil keterampilan proses sains siswa dianalisis dengan uji t dua sampel berpasangan menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistics 19, uji n gain score, dan uji effect size dari Cohen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan: (1) karakteristik modul menyajikan materi yang meninjau aspek keterampilan proses sains (menginterpretasi, memprediksi, mengaplikasikan konsep, merancang percobaan, dan mengkomunikasikan); (2) modul memiliki nilai keefektifan sebesar 64% dalam kategori “efektif”dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,32 dalam kategori “Besar”.

Abstract

Avocado seed contain amylose which could be raw material of making edible film. However, edible film  was resulted have durability to low water. Therefore, needed add material hidrofobic which would increase of durability to water of edible film one of is beeswax.This research was conducted experimentaly by used Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatmens and three replications which followed by Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at level 5%. The treatment in this research were B1 (beeswax 5%), B2 (beeswax 10%), B3 (beeswax 15%), B4 (beeswax 20%) and B5 (beeswax 25%). The results of variance analysis showed that addition of concentrations beeswax gave significantly affect on thickness, solubility, water of uptake and water of transfer edible film. The best formulations was obtained on the edible film with addition 5% beeswax which has thickness of 0.28 mm, solubility of 23.59%, water of uptake 313.35% and water of transfer 0.23 g.m-2.hour. Keywords: avocado seed, edible film, beeswax

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of value social support learning through audio visual media to peer social support in Student with Special Needs in Elementary School Inclusion. The research design used quasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. Participants in this study were students in one of  elementary school inclusion Malang grade 3, 4 and 5. The research instrument used the scale of social support peers referring to Sarafino and Smith (2011) and value social support learning through audio visual media that is social support video. Data analysis using IBM SPSS statistics 23.0 software with t-test using paired sample t-test. Finding showed that Value learning through social support video effects to peer social support in student with Special Needs in Elementary School Inclusion, with significance of 0.001 (p <0.05).

Abstract

Single mother who has adolescence with autism have higher stress level than mothers who have normal ones and make themto do coping, one of them is emotion focused coping. The research is qualitative phenomenology based and analyzed with Miles Hubberman. Result showed most subjects tend to cope with escape (rejection and wishful thinking), social emotional support (family and environment), self control (patient), distancing (avoiding problems), positive reappraisal (pray to God) and accepting responsibility (acceptance and responsibility). Single mothers tend to cope with their own way frequently to reduce stress and when they facing their child behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gambaran profil soft skills pada mahasiswa PGSD TA 2015/2016 di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Cirebon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif.Subjek penelitian berjumlah 25 mahasiswa PGSD TA 2015/2016.Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi soft skills yang sudah tervalidasi. Dalam penelitian ini, pencapaian soft skills mahasiswa difokuskan pada lima aspek yaitu kerjasama, tanggung jawab, percaya diri, kepemimpinan, kemampuan berkomunikasi, dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soft skill mahasiswa yang mencapai kriteria sedang sebesar 56% dan termasuk persentase tertinggi, sedangkan 24% mahasiswa memiliki kriteria soft skills dengan kriteria rendah, serta masing-masing 4% termasuk kriteria sangat rendah dan sangat tinggi, sedangkan yang berkriteria tinggi hanya mencapai 8%. Profil soft skills yang teridentifikasi tinggi yaitu aspek kerjasama (68%) dengan kriteria sedang dan yang terendah yaitu aspek kemampuan berkomunikasi (57,4%) dengan kriteria rendah. Abstract

Empathy is a part of important things to support students with special needs for their interpersonal development. Moreover, it is also a prominent factor of student’s mental health in inclusive school. This research aimed to investigate student’s empathy based on their educational level. The methods of this research was quantitative.,the instruments used were Empathy Scale from Index of Empathy for Children and Adolescents. Anova and t-test were used to analyze data. The results showed that there were differences empathy based on educational level (F = 435.541 p < .001). Empathy on Junior High School was higher than of other educational levels. Empathy on Junior High School (M = 38.5; SD = 6.135 ), University (M = 29.27; SD = 3.927), Senior High School (M = 20.89; SD = 3.406), Elementary School (M = 14.40; SD = 6.509 ). The results showed that there were differences empathy based on sex (t = 3.940 p< .001). The results showed that empathy on female students (M = 27.33 SD = 9.740) higher than male students (M = 23.75 SD = 9.581).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the strategy of the head master of SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta in order to increase student motivation in facing the National Examination (UN) after two years of decline. Using a qualitative descriptive method this study aims to describe the form of the principal's strategy, supporting and inhibiting factors and implications. The form of the principal's strategy, including: (1) collaboration with guardians of students, teachers and principals; (2) motivational training activities; (3) learning innovations; (4) become leaders, supervisors and managers; and (5) encourage students to have learning reference books. Supporting and inhibiting factors come from principals, teachers, students, guardians of students and the environment. The results of the school principal's implications, namely: (1) the motivation of students to follow tutoring increases, (2) students become active in the classroom, (3) student learning motivation increases; and (4) UN results are better than the previous year. Abstract

Objectives: this research was conducted to look at the relationship between school and school - both in high school students.Method: this research is a quantitative study involving subjects consisting of 134 high school students based on the calculation of the application G * Power version 3.1.9.2. Data retrieval is done by connecting two scales, namely the scale of school connectivity and school scale using the accidental sampling method. Test data analysis in this study using Pearson product moment.Findings: There was positive relationship between  school connectedness and school wellbeing variables in the Middle School students is significan (r = 0.77, p = 0.00) t. The results of this study have a positive value. Where there is a positive relationship between variables, the higher the level of student school connection to the school, the higher the school level will be, and vice versa.Conclusions: dimensions of school connectedness related to school wellbeing are related and liked by students, communication and liked by teachers. But belonging does not have an influence on school wellbeing in high school students. The dimension of school connectednes which has the greatest effect size is liked by the teachers then communication and the last is connected and liked by students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the adversity quotient on social adjustment among students who are migrating from their home regions to the Malang City, East Java, for studying at universities. The sample was 164 students who are in the first year of their studies. Data were collected using Adversity Response Profile (ARP) and Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ) and are analyzed using simple linear regression. The result showed that there is positive correlation between adversity quotient and social adjustment among the participants. It can be concluded from this study that the participants? adversity quotient can affect their social adjustment. The increase of adversity quotient will predict better social adjustment.Keywords: Adversity quotient, migrating students, social adjustment.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran adversity quotient pada mahasiswa luar kota dalam membentuk penyesuaian sosial. Subjek penelitian adalah 164 mahasiswa perantauan yang menjalani studi mereka pada tahun pertama di Malang, Jawa Timur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui skala Adversity Response Profile (ARP) dan Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif antara adversity quotient dengan penyesuaian sosial pada mahasiswa rantau yang sedang kuliah pada tahun pertamanya. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa adversity quotient pada partisipan dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan penyesuaian sosial mereka. Peningkatan adversity quotient  dapat memprediksi penyesuaian sosial yang lebih baik.
