Abstract

Persaingan usaha dibidang pendidikan, setiap pihak berlomba untuk menggunakan bentuk media sebagai strategi yang dinilai dapat dijadikan daya tarik dalam memenangkan persaingan terhadap setiap kompetitornya khusunya pada SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa. Saat ini SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa menggunakan media cetak dan media elektonik dalam memberikan informasi dan promosi yang up to date. Agar promosi berjalan sesuai target tentunya menyampaikan pesan-pesan persuasif yang terpadat dalam media cetak dan media elektronik tersebut yang terdiri dari profile sekolah, fasilitas, prestasi, jurusan, ekstrakulikuler dan lain-lain sehingga dapat menjadi daya tarik yang efektif bagi calon siswa-siswi baru dan masyarakat untuk bergabung di SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui strategi penggunaan media SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa dalam mempromosikan sekolah dan menarik minat calon siswa-siswi baru. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif tujuan deskriptif untuk menjelaskan Strategi Penggunaan Media SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa Dalam Mempromosikan Sekolah dan Menarik Calon Siswa-Siswi Baru. Peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara di SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa. Wawancara dilakukan dengan key informan dan beberapa informan dari SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa. Dari penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa perlu isi pesan-pesan persuasif dalam strategi penggunaan media SMK Teknologi Pilar Bangsa untuk menarik minat calon siswa-siswi. Kata kunci : Media cetak, media elektronik, promosi.

Abstract

This research aims to help those trying to master the media and political power in Indonesia and use the media as a tool to build community system from the Dutch colonial rule to the independence era, particularly from 1999 to 2019. This study is about how the system formed the media under the political policy until it developed into   a base media in Indonesia between the era of the Dutch conquest and the year 2019. To achieve the objective of the study, investigation has been made upon media as a factor that affects the formation of the base to control the freedom of the media by using the investigation approach on history through document analysis and deep interview. The finding shows that forming a base that controls the freedom of the media is based on a proses which is designed soberly to fit with the philosophy and the value which is practiced by the ruling leader, and became the base of the national media activist in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAlong with the development of today's era and technology, cultural arts rarely show their existence and millennials have forgotten about the existence of cultural arts and traditions in Indonesia. Although there are still some millennials who care about cultural arts and traditions, they do not understand the meaning of these cultural arts. In West Java, Tasikmalaya has a variety of cultures and traditions, especially  Tawarangsa, but today many Tasikmalaya millennials do not know the existence of these cultures and traditions. Of course, the researcher wants to preserve the existence and describe the implied meaning of  Tarawangsa. Then what is the meaning of the  Tarawangsa art performance in Tasikmalaya Regency? Using a phenomenological study approach, phenomenology is defined as natural phenomena, as well as events that can be felt and can be seen by the five senses, this gives the meaning that a phenomenon is something that can be seen, observed and interpreted as part of human life. The purpose of this study is to find out and understand further and in depth the meaning of the  Tarawangsa Art Performance for the residents of Tasikmalaya Regency and describe the meaning implied in the  Tarawangsa art performance. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach to explain the meaning of  Tarawangsa art performances in Tasikmalaya Regency. Researchers conducted observations and interviews in Cangkuang village, Cikukulu Village, Karangnunggal District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java Province. Interviews were conducted with key informants and several informants from  Tarawangsa players and the surrounding community. From this study it can be concluded that the meaning of  Tarawangsa, this performance is carried out for the ritual of the ngala pare (rice harvest) event. By playing  Tarawangsa when the rice will be harvested and before the event is carried out, there is Mitamiyan/Mimitian (Starting) is an activity to mark with some rice stalks that are ready to be harvested in every corner of the rice fields. The whole series of rituals in the event of taking rice is accompanied by playing the art of  Tarawangsa. Keywords:  Tarawangsa, meaning, performing arts, phenomenology.
