Abstract

Abstract

Red bricks are the most easy material to locate and use practically any building. Besides being cheap, red bricks are also often used because of their easy and plentiful production processes in all parts of Indonesia. Brick use in both construction and non-construction or structure needs to be increased products produced, either by improving the quality of the red brick matality or additions to other materials.. Based on sni 15-2094-2000, red bricks are a rectangular prism material, solid or perforated with a hole volume ata maximum of hole volume at 15% and are used for constructing walls of buildings, which are made of clay with or without active material and burned ata certain temperature. The study was done using the RSM method of using soft prelims. The data processing produced 20 samples with six times the repetition in the center. The results of this study were the result of the highest impaction in experiments 14, 122.9 kj/m2, with a 8-day drying parameters, a temperature of 968.18oc with a 10-hour heat span and the lowest impact on experiment 12 was 47.6 k Kj /m2 with the long drying parameters of 8 days, places up to 800oc and a length of warming 3.27 hours this is due to the long drying and long warming. Based on shem's test, the exact difference in the form of breaking the value of the broken impak tests shows that the surface has become crystalline with perfect uniform. even though some of the parts are cracked, it is because the water contained less than the lower intake, which forms the crystals at least 50%, while in some areas there is a portation or hole in which the convergence is still incomplete.

Abstract

Mental health is important because mentality greatly influences a person's quality of life. The mental hospital is the only government agency that provides MMPI test services in Bangka Belitung. The MMPI is a self-report inventory of 550 true/false items that have historically been used to assess test takers' personalities, as well as their personal and social adjustments. The obstacle faced at this RSJ is that it still uses a manual registration system to carry out registration services for participants who take the MMPI test. Automatically this causes an accumulation of registrants who want to register, especially since the registration system used still uses paper forms. Based on these problems, an information system is needed to facilitate registration and data collection. The method used is the prototype method which consists of the stages of gathering requirements, building prototypes, evaluating, coding and testing. System design is carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method which consists of Use Cases, Entity Relationship Diagrams, and Activity diagrams. System testing is carried out using the UAT BlackBox Testing method and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results of the BlackBox test show that 100% of the system works perfectly, while the TAM test shows that 88.22% of respondents feel the system is easy to use and not complicated, 85.33% of respondents have an interest in using the system, and 88.33% of respondents feel the system provides benefits and has used for the registration process.

Abstract

Suji leaves are one of the new materials that can form natural fibers. Suji leaf fiber is fiber obtained from suji leaves. Suji leaf fiber is one of the new materials that can be made into composite materials. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of immersing leaf fiber on liquid smoke and NaOH with fiber volume fractions of 15%, 20% and 25%, angular orientation (0°) and soaking times of 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours. Making composites using the hand-lay up method. Sampling using the full factorial method. The highest bending test result was in immersion of liquid smoke of 48.23 MPa at 25% fiber percentage with 1 hour immersion time. This means that the longer the soaking process of suji leaves with liquid smoke will decrease the flexural strength. The highest flexural test result was in NaOH immersion of 40.6 MPa at 20% fiber percentage with 3 hours of immersion time. This means that the longer the soaking process with NaOH will increase the flexural strength. Based on the BSAPI standard from the results of the bending test, the results obtained in this study cannot be used for making wall climbing panels because they do not meet the requirements, namely 112.8 Mpa, but for the manufacture of other materials such as car dashboards which have a type of High Impact ABS plastic material. 37-76 MPa.

Abstract

Synthetic fiber composite materials such as glass fiber, aramid and carbon fiber have good mechanical properties, but cause environmental pollution because they cannot be recycled. Because of this, many researchers are making composites with natural fibers. The advantages of natural fibers include: lower price, easy processing, reduced CO2 emissions, and specific strength meets application requirements. Composites are materials composed of a mixture of more than two different main elements. Composites have the advantages of light weight, higher strength, and corrosion resistance. This study applies the full factorial design method, which will look at the effect of the composite ratio (volume fraction and between fiber layers) on tensile strength. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of variations in volume fraction and fiber layers of kepok banana stems on tensile strength. So that it can be used as an alternative material for making SNI helmets. This study used variations in volume fractions of 10%, 15%, and 20% and variations in fiber layers of 3, 4, and 5 kepok banana stems. Liquid smoke soaking time was 60 minutes. The average value of the maximum tensile test in the 4th layer, 10% volume fraction of fiber with a value of 42.76 Mpa and the minimum average value in the 3rd layer using 10% volume fraction of fiber with a value of 30.06 Mpa.
