Abstract

This research aimed to improve the activity, motivation, and social studies student outcomes by applying active learning strategies type of index cards match. This research method was using classroom action research. The data were collected through observation sheet activity, motivation questionnaire, and test for learning outcomes. Results of research showed that the activity of motivation and student learning outcomes increase at each cycle. It was showed at the percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle of 45.83%, the second cycle of 57.64%, and the third cycle of 75.68%. For the percentage of students motivation in the first cycle of 65.5%, the second cycle of 72%, and the third cycle of 87.5%. While the percentage of students mastery learning in the first cycle there were 11 students (45.83%) were completed, the second cycle increased to 17 students (70.83%) were completed and increased on the third cycle to 19 students (79.17%) were complete.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran aktif tipe index card match. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi aktivitas angket motivasi, dan soal tes untuk hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya. Hal ini terlihat pada persentase aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 45,83%, siklus II sebesar 57,64%, dan siklus III sebesar 75,68%. Untuk persentase motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 65,5%, siklus II sebesar 72%, dan siklus III sebesar 87,5%. Sementara persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I terdapat 11 siswa (45,83%) yang tuntas, siklus II meningkat menjadi 17 siswa (70,83%) yang tuntas dan meningkat kembali pada siklus III menjadi 19 siswa (79,17%) yang tuntasKata kunci : aktivitas, hasil belajar, motivasi, strategi index card match

Abstract

The study is based on the low ability to think critically and interest learn from the classroom X in SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram. The purpose of this research is the use of models creative the problem solving (CPS) and models based learning (PBL) to see a difference in the capacity think critically with regard to student learning interest. The methodology used is the apparent experiment. With look at the level eksplanasinya, this research is comparative research. Engineering data collection is done through the survey and observation. To test the instrument use of tests, reliability, the different and level of trouble. Analysis techniques data using analysis variant two roads and the t. The research results show that (1) there is a difference in reflect critical students who had use the model learning cps with of students who are taught use the model learning PBL, (2) the ability of reflect critical of students who use learning model CPS lower than pembelajarannya use the model learning PBL for students who are learning low interest, (3) the ability of reflect critical of students who use learning model CPS higher than pembelajarannya use the model learning PBL for students who are learning high interest, and (4) there are interactions among learning model with interest student learning to subjects sociologyPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan minat belajar siswa di kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dan model Model Based Learning (PBL) untuk melihat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan memperhatikan minat belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu. Dengan melihat tingkat eksplanasinya, penelitian ini tergolong penelitian komparatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan observasi. Untuk uji instrument menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas tes, daya beda dan tingkat kesukaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian dua jalan dan uji t. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan berfikir kritis siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS dengan siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL, (2) kemampuan berfikir kritis pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS lebih rendah dibandingkan yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL bagi siswa yang tergolong minat belajar rendah, (3) kemampuan berfikir kritis pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran CPS lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL bagi siswa yang tergolong minat belajar tinggi, dan (4) ada interaksi antar model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sosiologiKata kunci: CPS, kemampuan berpikir kritis, minat belajar, PBL

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the dynamics of agrarian conflict in the social life of the community at Sendang Ayu and Surabaya village, district of Padang Ratu Lampung Tengah. This study used a qualitative approach with case study methods, the method of collecting data is using interviews. The results of this study indicate that the dynamics of agrarian conflict in the social life of the community at Sendang Ayu and Surabaya village: The dynamics of the conflict occurred since 1970, the conflict led to conflict of open and closed. The cause of the conflict is not in accordance with the land lease agreement early. The companies, commit violence againt the citizens to control the land. The companies, resident of three villages and local government have been several times to negotiate. As a result of the long time conflict that give birth to three effects of social, economic, and environmental impacts.Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika konflik agraria dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat desa Sendang Ayu dan Surabaya Kecamatan Padang Ratu Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dinamika konflik agraria dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat desa Sendang Ayu dan Surabaya yaitu: Dinamika konflik terjadi sejak tahun 1970, konflik melahirkan konflik terbuka dan tertutup. Penyebab konflik yaitu sewa tanah tidak sesuai perjanjian awal. Pemicu terjadinya konflik yaitu perusahaan melakukan cara-cara kekerasan terhadap warga untuk menguasai tanah. Penyelesaian konflik dilakukan antara perusahaan, warga tiga desa dan pemerintah daerah melalui perundingan. Dampak konflik yang berkepanjangan, melahirkan tiga dampak, yaitu dampak sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan.Kata kunci: dampak, dinamika, konflik

Abstract

This study aimed to produce a product in the form of the model that used to solve social problems in the community and schools, and to analyze the effectiveness of the use of models of learning in social studies learning. This research approach was Research and Development (R D) by using a design development of Dick and Carey. The final product of this research was the development of learning through Inquiry Learning Model that has been evaluated by subject matter experts, learning models expert, as well as limited test. This developmental research (1) the proper to be learning model inquiry can solve social problems in society. So, the inquiry learning model is used as a model of learning in SMP N 1 Atap 1 Anak Ratu Aji it can Central Lampung. (2) Inquiry Learning Model effectively used in learning social studies in junior high because improve learning outcomes (Gain Score) between the experimental class and control class.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan suatu produk berupa model yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah sosial di masyarakat maupun sekolah, serta menganalisis efektifitas penggunaan model pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran IPS. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Research and Development (RD) dengan menggunakan desain pengembangan Dick and Carey. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa pengembangan pembelajaran melalui Model Pembelajaran Inquiry yang telah dievaluasi oleh ahli materi, ahli model pembelajaran, serta uji terbatas. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan (1) Model pembelajaran inquiry dapat menyelesaikan masalah sosial di masyarakat. Sehingga produk model pembelajaran inquiry layak digunakan sebagai model belajar di SMP N Satu Atap 1 Anak Ratu Aji Lampung Tengah. (2) Model Pembelajaran Inquiry efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP karena meningkatkan hasil belajar (Gain Score) antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.Kata kunci: model inquiry, masalah sosial masyarakat, pengembangan

Abstract

This study was conducted to improve the learning activity of students in social studies with PBL models and to develop social and environmental concerns with the application of PBL models through learning social studies. The approach used in this study is classroom action research. The results of this study were (1) the application of the Problem Based Learning can enhance the learning activity of students in social studies are realized by working to divide the work in groups to complete a given task teacher, responsible, respectful student opinions and responses during the discussion, and can produce work that can be presented to good, and (2) the application of the problem based learning can improve the social and environmental concerns that have been applied in everyday life evidenced by students while maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom and the surrounding environment by removing waste in place and classrooms neat, clean and terjalinya student interaction is very good. Teachers always instilled in ways that can provide good in social life and environmental and students can receive a fine and can applications in real life everyday in the school environment. Latar Belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas belajar siswa dan rendahnya kepedulian sosial dan lingkungan hidup. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning  dapat: (1) Meningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam mengajukan pertanyaan, menjawab/menanggapi pertanyaan, menulis/mencatat, membaca, mendengarkan/ memperhatikan guru, bekerja dalam kelompok belajar, menggali informasi, mengambil keputusan dalam pemecahan masalah, kerjasama dalam kelompok, menghargai pendapat orang lain  dan menerima penghargaan. (2) Meningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan kepedulian sosial dan lingkungan hidup, yang dapat dilihat dari penerapan kehidupan sehari-hari dengan kebiasaan menjaga lingkungan hidup dan kepedulian sosial.Kata kunci: problem based learning, kepedulian sosial, lingkungan hidup

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the students critical thinking skills by using problem solving and problem posing learning models According to students attitudes towards learning social studies. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental research method with a comparative approach. The research design was a factorial by level design The testing hypotheses 1 and 4 using the formula analysis of variance (ANOVA), while hypothesis 2 and 3 using the formula t-test. Based on the analysis of data obtained research hypothesis testing results show that: 1). There are defferences in critical thingking skills of students whose learning model of problem solving and problem posing in eighth grade.2). There was no defference in the abilityof critical thinking of students whoseusing the problem solving model higher than the student whose using problem posing model at students who have a positive attitude toward social studies. 3). There was no defferencein the abilityof critical thinking of students whoseusing the problem solving modellower than the students whose using the problem posing model at students who have a negative attitude toward social studies. 4) There is interaction the learning model with students' attitudes toward on critical thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving dan model pembelajaran problem posing menurut sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen semu dengan pendekatan komparatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain faktorial by level. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 91 orang siswa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 48 orang siswa. Pengujian hipotesis 1 dan 4 menggunakan rumus analisis analysis of variance (ANOVA), sedangkan hipotesis 2 dan 3 menggunakan rumus T-test. Berdasarkan analisis data di peroleh hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian yang menunjukan bahwa: 1). ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model problem solving dan model problem posing pada siswa kelas VIII 2). tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing pada siswa yang memiliki sikap positif terhadap mata pelajaran IPS 3). tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran problem solving lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran problem posing pada siswa yang memiliki sikap negatif terhadap mata pelajaran IPS 4) ada interaksi model pembelajaran dengan sikap siswa pada kemampuan berpikir kritis.Kata kunci: Berpikir kritis, Problem Solving, Problem Posing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model type learning together and to produce a development product of social studies learning plan. The research was conducted through several stages those are analysis of requirements, planning and initial product development, expert validation, revision of the product, limited test, final models and reporting. The research was developed in a way that compares the experimental model of learning with conventional learning and learning together type. The results showed that learning together type is effective to use, it is seen from the difference in value between the pretest and posttest of control class and the experimental class. Effectiveness of the test score is 1.7 or greater than 4 indicates that the model of learning together more effective than conventional learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe learning together dan menghasilkan produk pengembangan berupa perangkat pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan dan pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, revisi produk, uji terbatas, model jadi dan pelaporan. Penelitian dikembangkan dengan cara eksperimen yakni membandingkan pembelajaran dengan model learning together dan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran learning together efektif digunakan, hal ini dilihat dari perbedaan nilai pretest dan posttest antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen.  Dari pengujian efektivitas didapatkan nilai 1,7 atau lebih besar dari 4 menunjukkan bahwa model learning together lebih efektif digunakan daripada pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: learning together, model pembelajaran kooperatif, pembelajaran IPS

Abstract

This research was based on the problems of the low capacity to think critically and learning activity in the class XI SMA Maarif 05 Padang Ratu years Lessons 2015/2016. The purpose of this research was the use of cooperative learning model think pair share and talking stick type to see a difference in the capacity think critically by taking into account the activity of students. Research methodology used in this research is comparative research with experiment. Approach this research was experimental with the factorials design. The sample collection was using a saturated sample technique. Class XIA use think pair share and class XIB use talking stick. The research results showed that (1) there is a difference in the critical thinking ability between class which use the cooperative mode think pair share type and those who use learning model type talking stick and (2) the average level of critical thinking ability of history subjects who had use the cooperative learning model type is higher than those use the learning model type talking stick.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi masalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas XI SMA Maarif 05 Padang Ratu Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan tipe Talking Stick untuk melihat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan memperhatikan aktivitas siswa. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. kelas XIA menggunakan Think Pair Share dan kelas XIB menggunakan Talking Stick. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada perbedaan kemampuan Berfikir Kritis antara kelas yang menggunakan model pembejaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe Talking Stick dan (2) Rata-rata tingkat Berfikir Kritis pada mata pelajaran Sejarah yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe Talking Stick.Kata kunci: Aktivitas, kemampuan berpikir kritis, talking stick, think pair share

Abstract

The focus of the research is to examine the difference between GI and TGT learning model towards students’ achievement. The problem analyzed in the research is to know the difference between, the learning models and students’ early ability towards their achievement, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with high scores in social studies, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with average scores in social studies, GI and TGT learning model towards the students’ early achievement with low scores in social studies, the interaction between the use of learning models and students’ early ability towards the achievement of social studies for Accounting students class XII. This research uses an experimental approach with a 2 x 3 factorial design. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a difference between using Group Investigations and Teams Games Tournament learning model towards students’ achievement by looking at the students’ early ability.Keyword :  GI learning model, TGT learning model, students early ability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the PKn learning process in installing character values on students. This study used a qualitative approach. Analysis of the data which was using the Interactive Analysis Model of Milles and Huberman, was accomplished through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that civics lesson had used learning model that promotes group learning activities to understand the Civics materials. The effort to instill the value of the nation characters, which is given through the cooperative approach, where as the types of the material for the approach should be adapted by the teacher based on the needs and the situation, which focuses on the applying of learning cooperative model dominated by CTL. Students learn through experience instead of memoriting by constructing the knowledge` thus creating a classroom in which students become active participants instead of passive observers, this method makes students responsible for their own learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang proses pembelajaran PKn dalam penanaman nilai-nilai karakter kepada siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Analisis data menggunakan Analysis Interactive Model dari Milles and Huberman, dilakukan melalui pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran PKn telah menggunakan model pembelajaran yang mengutamakan kegiatan belajar berkelompok untuk memahami materi PKn. Upaya penanaman nilai-nilai karakter bangsa yang diberikan melalui pendekatan kooperatif, sedangkan untuk tipenya disesuaikan dengan pendekatan materi pelajaran yang dianalisis oleh guru dan terfokus pada penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan dominasi tipe Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Siswa belajar melalui mengalami dan bukan menghapal dengan mengkonstruksi pengetahuan dari siswa itu sendiri. Sehingga menciptakan ruang kelas yang didalamnya siswa menjadi peserta yang aktif bukan pengamat pasif, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap belajarnya.Kata kunci : karakter bangsa, model pembelajaran, pkn
