Abstract

Investment in a company is expected to provide a profitable return and has an increasing share value. This study aims to determine the effect of trademarks on the value of the company's share. Furthermore, this research is developed to analyze the influence of brand value on the company's stock performance in the banking industry which is ranked in 100th of Indonesia's Most Valuable Brand. The results of this study found that the independent variable (brand value) has a significance value under 0.05 to the dependent variable (share value) with a positive direction. So it can be concluded that the trademark has a positive effect on the value of the company's shares on banking sector in Indonesia. This can be interpreted that the higher the value of the trademark, the higher the value of the company's stock.

Abstract

For go public banking entity, applying PSAK 60 (revised 2014) regarding disclosure of financial instruments in the financial statements is a necessity in order to provide information to readers of financial statements. Disclosure and presentation of information is a fundamental effort to provide information on financial statements for users of financial information. To be useful, accounting information must be relevant to meet the needs of users of financial statements in the decision making process. The purpose of this study is to examine the increased relevance of the value of disclosure of financial instruments after PSAK 60 (revised 2014) to banking company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange before and after PSAK 60 (revised 2014) is effective on 1 January 2015. The findings of this study indicated that somehow the quality of information disclosure of financial instrument has relevance to the decisions investors as reflected by the stock price. This is shown by the positive coefficient direction although the value of financial instrument disclosure coefficients shows the influence of financial instruments is not statistically significant, which indicates that the results of this study support the value relevance theory, whereby the higher level of financial instrument disclosure in the financial statements the higher the market value of equity firms.

Abstract

This naturalistic qualitative research aimed to describe students disposition of mathematical critical thinking in Contextual Socrates learning. The subject of this study were students of VII J class of SMPN 8 Bandarlampung in academic years of 2014/2015 which was obtained by purposive sampling technique. The data of this study was qualitative data about students' mathematical critical thinking disposition which were obtained by observation recording, documentation, and interviews. Before analysing the data, the researcher did the triangulation of data sources. Analysis of the data of this study used four stages, that were coding, reducting, and displaying of data, then getting the conclusion. Based on this study, it was concluded that the mathematical critical thinking disposition indicators which appeared dominantly in Socrates Contextual learning were curiousity and analyticality.Penelitian kualitatif naturalistik ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa pada Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII J SMPN 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif mengenai disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sebelum menganalisis data, peneliti melakukan triangulasi sumber data. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan 4 tahap, yaitu memberi kode, mereduksi, dan menyajikan data, kemudian menarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa indikator disposisi berpikir kritis matematis yang dominan muncul pada Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual adalah rasa ingin tahu dan analitis.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, Socrates Kontekstual

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aimed to describe the students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy in Socrates Contextual Learning. The subject of this research was students of VII-D class of SMPN 22 Bandarlampung in even semester, academic year of 2014/2015 who appeared indicators of mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy. The data of this research were obtained by observation recording, mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy scale, and interview. The interview in this research aimed to get deeper informations about students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy. The analysis of data used three stages, that were reducting, displaying, and getting conclusion of data. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy which appeared dominantly in Socrates Contextual Learning was indicators on magnitude/level dimension.Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang memunculkan indikator self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, skala self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis, dan wawancara. Wawancara dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih dalam mengenai self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang dominan muncul dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Kotekstual adalah indikator pada dimensi magnitude/level.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, self-efficacy, socrates kontekstual

Abstract

The aim of this research was to compare the increasing of students mathematical representation skills after implementation of contextual learning and students mathematical representation skills after implementation of conventional learning. The design was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into four class. The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-C classes which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. Analysis data of the research using t-test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the increasing of students mathematical representation skills after implementation of contextual learning higher than students mathematical representation skills after implementation of conventional learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-C yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Representasi Matematis, Pembelajaran Kontekstual

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a problem-based learning model on student’s mathematical communication skills. The population was all students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung odd semester in the academic year 2019/2020 that were distributed into ten classes. The research samples were all students of grade VIII E and VIII F which were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The posttest only controls group design was used as the design of this research. The research data analysis using U-test at a significant level  = 0.05, students’ communication skills with the problem-based learning model are significantly higher than students’ communication skills with conventional learning. Abstract

This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was students of 8th grade in SMPN 21 Bandarlampung that were distributed into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-H and VIII-I class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data were obtained through mathematical problem solving skill test. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test and Binomial Sign Test. This research concluded that guided inquiry learning model was not effective in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran guided inquiry ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 21 Bandarlampung yang terdistribusi dalam 11 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-H dan VIII-I yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Data diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan uji tanda binomial. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effect of Think Pair Share cooperative learning model towards students conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used posttest only control group design. The population of this research wasall students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratuin academic year of 2017/2018. Through purposive sampling technique, two classes were taken as the samples.The technique that used in this research was test. The analysis data of this research used t-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that Think Pair Share cooperative learning model affect students conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian eksperimental semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Labuhan Ratu tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Melalui teknik purposive sampling dua dari enam kelas diambil sebagai sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share type towards student’s mathematical representation skill. The population was all student’s of class VII SMP Negeri 2 Gadingrejo in academic year 2017/2018 which were distributed in eight classes. The sample of this study were all student’s of class VII-C and VII-D selected using purposive sampling technique. The research design was pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by essay test of mathematical representation. The statistical test used was Mann-Whitney  test. Based on the result of the research and discussion, it was concluded that cooperative learning think pair share type was influenced towards student’s mathematical representation skill. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Cooperative Learning tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Gadingrejo tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam 8 kelas. Abstract

This experimental research aimed to analyzed the effect of guided discovery learning model toward student’s mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was the eighth grade student of SMP Muhammadiah 3 Bandarlampung in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 211 students that were distributed into seven classes. Samples of this research were the student of class VIII C consist of 3 students  and VIII E consist of 31 students that were selected through purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control grup design. Data analysis in this research used t’-test and proportion test with α = 0,05. Based on the research result, that student’s matematical representation skill who followed the guided discovery learning model was higher than students who followed the non-guided discovery learning model. Thus, the guided discovery learning model affect student's mathematical representation skill. Keywords: effect, guided discovery learning, mathematical representation skill  Peneli­ti­­an ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiah 3 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 211 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C sebanyak 31 siswa dan VIII E sebanyak 31 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan taraf signifikan  α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model guided discovery learning lebih tinggi dari siswa yang mengikuti model non-guided discovery learning. Dengan demikian, model guided discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Kata kunci: guided discovery learning, kemampuan representasi matematis,                      pengaruh.
