Abstract

ABSTRACTPepper (Capsicum annuum L.), which include Family Solanaceae is a herbaceous plant taken the fruit that has a spicy flavor because it contains substances capsaisin. The study aims to determine the status of Hara N P K around rooting Plant Chilli (Capsicum annuum L) In the village of Wawona district of gaze Beautiful. This research was conducted in the village of Wawona for 2 months from February to March 2017. The research was conducted with survey method with direct observations in the field of further soil sampling for laboratory analysis. Nutrients observed that the content of nutrients around the plant roots chili. Results obtained the nitrogen in the soil around the roots mixed show is classified, elements phosphorus around the root range from medium to high and phosphorus in the soil around the roots mixed classified, elements potassium around the roots of a low to high and the soil around the roots are mixed, the content potassium is above the limit of potassium deficiency.Keyword: Status Hara, Nutrients N P K, Chili Plant

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the level of nutrient availability, N P and K around corn plants. The results of this study found that the element of nitrogen in the soil around the roots showed relatively low. The element of phosphorus around the roots is moderate and the phosphorus in the soil around the mixed roots is moderate. The element of potassium around the roots is low to high and tanh around the roots are mixed, the potassium content is above the potassium deficiency. Abstract

Abstract Tondano Lake was an important natural resource in Minahasa Regency. There was an important problem, i.e.: lake shallowing through the process of sedimentation. Sediment was mud deposit containing materials through both chemical and biological processes. The purpose of this study was to identify the physical and chemical properties of sediments in Lake Tondano, especially in the eastern part (Eris) and the western part (Remboken). Purposive Sampling Method was in different depth of sampling (Eris 11 m; Remboken 7 m). Parameters observed were physical properties of soil was soil texture, and chemical properties of soil were total nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, C-organic, and pH . Results had showed that, soil physical was silty clay of texture. However, soil chemical were acidity of sediment was slightly acid, i.e. : pH=6.52 (Eris), pH= 6.58 (Remboken), C-organic, Nitrogen and Phosphorus in Eris were higher than in Remboken; and  Potassium in Eris and Remboken were very low.  Keywords: physical properties, chemical properties, sediment, Tondano  Lake.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to determine the effect of compost on soil porosity of sandy loam and claysoils and to see its effect on the growth of Maize plants. This research was conducted at Greenhouseand at Soil Physics and Soil Conservation Laboratory from May until June 2017. The results showedthat the addition of compost to soil can increase soil porosity and also the addition of compost to clayeytextured soil increased the porosity compared to the sandy loam textured soils. Application of composttends to increase plant height and dry weight on all age of plants; i.e. 10 days after planting, 30 daysafter planting and 40 days after planting. Application of compost at a dose of 10 tonnes/ha gives thehighest plant height on sandy loam soils and the heaviest plant dry weight on clayey loam soils. Keywords:Compost, Porosity

Abstract

ABSTRACTCassava is a food crop that is widely grown in the village of Salurang, Tabukan Selatan TengahDistrict. To develop this plant so that it produces better, it is necessary to conduct research onthe availability of nutrients around the roots. P and K elements are elements needed by cassavaplants, therefore it is necessary to research the availability of nutrients around the roots. Thisstudy aims to determine the nutrient content of phosphorus and soil potassium around the rootsof cassava. The benefit of this research is to determine the right fertilizer in to increase theproduction of cassava plants. The research method used a survey method with purposivesampling on cassava plants which have tubers and have not. Sample analysis using the dry soiltest (PUTK) version 1.0. Bogor Soil Research Institute The results of the analysis showed thatthe phosphorus nutrient content around the roots of the tuberous cassava plants ranged from lowto moderate, while potassium was low to high. Cassava plants that have not been rooted showthat the phosphorus content is moderate, while potassium ranges from moderate to high. Keywords: Phosphorus and Potassium Nutrients

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to identify the state of physical and chemical properties of the soil on the Cloves plant in the village of Tincep and Kolongan Atas Subdistrict Sonder.  This study conducted using a survey method with their implementation as follows: the soil samples were taken at two locations is overgrown Cloves plant with good growth rates and less well, each location was taken four soil samples, two soil samples were taken at Cloves plant with good growth rates and another two soil samples were taken on Cloves plant with less well growth rates.  Soil sampling conducted by digging a minipit with size 50 x 50 x 50 cm were taken at the canopy boundary of Cloves plant and the soil samples were taken top layer (horizon A) and lower layers (horizon B) which is based on the effect of organic matter on the soil layer (A and B).  The parameters observed was physical properties of soil that is, texture, structure, and consistency; and chemical properties of soil that is, nitrogen total, phosphor available, potassium available, c-organic, and pH.  The results showed clove plants with good growth and less well the specified visually not affected by the state of chemical of soil, but is influenced by physical properties of soil, because on the Cloves plant which less well grow on the horizon B was found weathered material.  Keywords: Cloves, Physical and Chemical properties of soil, Growth, Weathered material
