Abstract

ABSTRACT In order to develop a very high sensitive Ge gamma-ray spectrometer, a Compton suppression gamma-ray spectrometer with a BGO guard detector system has been constructed. The BGO detector system detects 88% of the gamma-rays from 60Co that are committing to the principle of the suppression system. Peak-to-Compton ratio for the 661 keV gamma-rays from 137Cs has been improved from 128 to 786 with the Compton suppression spectroscopy. By the development of the spectrometer the minimum acceptable radioactivity of 137Cs has been improved from 0.091 Bq to 0.044 Bq with the coeficient of variation of 30% and measurement time of 8 hours. ABSTRAK Untuk mengembangkan spektrometer sinar-X Ge dengan kepekaan yang sangat tinggi, telah dibuat sebuah sistem spektrometer sinar-X penindas Compton dengan menggunakan detektor pelindung BGO. Sistem detektor BGO mendeteksi 88%. sinar gamma dari 60Co yang digunakan dalam prinsip sistem penindas. Peak-to-Compton ratio untuk sinar gamma berenergi 661 keV dari 137CS telah diperbaiki dari 128 menjadi 786 dengan spektroskopi penindas Compton. Melalui pengembangan spektrometer ini radioaktivitas 137Cs minimum yang dapat diterima meningkat dari 0.091 Bq menjadi 0.044 Bq dengan koefisien variasi 30%. dan waktu pengukuran 8 jam.

Abstract

Social security is a right of everyone, without exception, including workers / laborers as the provisions of Article 28H paragraph (3) of the Constitution of 1945, which reads; "Everyone is entitled to social security that allows development of his or her self as dignified human beings," as well as the mandate of the Declaration of the United Nations (UN), 1948 on Human Rights, and has also affirmed in the Convention on the International Labour Organization (ILO) No. 102 of 1952, which recommends that all States to provide minimum protection to all workers. In the decree of the People's Consultative Assembly of Indonesia Number X / MPR / 2001, to determine the tasks the President to form the National Social Security System in order to provide a comprehensive social protection and integration. On February 17, 1992, the government put forth Law No. 3 of 1992 on Social Security Workers (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Year 1992 Number 14, Additional State Gazette No. 3468), to provide protection to every worker / laborer as the right of every person without exception. However, the right of workers / laborers to obtain workers' social security that provides protection against occupational accidents, illness, pregnancy, maternity, old age and death, is only obtained if the employer where workers / laborers to the Organizing Body, namely PT. Social Security, as stipulated in the provisions of Article 4 paragraph (1), which determines that; "Program of social security referred to in Article 3 shall be realized by companies for workers who perform work in labor relations in accordance with the provisions of this law."

Abstract

The state is responsible for safety of every citizen. Safety frommany dangers that threaten life and soul, no metter how every citizen should be protected. Occasionally, the state efforts are accepted by citizen as something excessive. Thus, it is not uncommon in practice cause reactionsas the pros and cons in public without seeing and understands what the base objectives of the state efforts. Moreover, the state with legislative powers through various waysto protect the security and safety of citizens, one of them with the establishment of various laws and regulations intended to preserve and protect life and soul of citizens. Related to policies of penalty sanctions in LawNumber 22 Year 2009 regarding Traffic and Road Transportation, that was one of the government's efforts to protect the citizens. On the other side, with relatively high nominal fines which can make new problems, including the increasing number of violations that did by the perpetrators of road transport driver themselves.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how Plaza Ikan encourages fish traders to increase their business. One of the efforts of the Tuban Regency Government to increase the added value of fish products is to establish a fish Plaza. The fish plaza is an integrated fish auction place that is packaged in a modern way and integrates with the sale of fresh fish, smoked fish and various processed fish. With the concept of integration, it is hoped that the economy of Tuban fishermen will improve. The research method used a qualitative descriptive method, while the data collection using interviews and questionnaire techniques. Of the 30 respondents who answered everyday trading at the fish plaza, 20 respondents strongly agreed, 7 respondents agreed and 3 respondents were doubtful. A comfortable place to sell, 17 respondents strongly agree, 8 respondents agree, 3 respondents doubt, 2 respondents disagree. Profits are increasing, 5 respondents disagreed, 25 respondents strongly disagreed. The consumers are many and varied, 12 respondents strongly agree, 5 respondents agree, 3 respondents doubt, 4 respondents disagree, 6 respondents strongly disagree

Abstract

ABSTRACT Acanthophora muscoides is one of the red seaweed that is potentially used as a natural antioxidant. This study aims to determine the antioxidant activity of methanol and n-hexane extract, and determine the total phenolic content and levels of pigments (chlorophyll and carotenoid) of fresh samples A. muscoides. Antioxidant activity measured using electron transfer method with DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhidrazyl) as free radicals, while the determination of total phenolic content using the Folin-Ciocalteu reagent with gallic acid as standard and determination of pigment content measured by spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 663 nm, 646 nm and 470 nm. The result showed IC50 value of methanol extract was 325.47 ppm and n-hexane extract was 351.27 ppm which means that A. muscoides have very weak antioxidant activity. Total phenolic content in each extract were 22.68 and 46.19 (mg GAE/g extract), chlorophyll a 7.72 and 24.93 (mg/g sample) and carotenoid 28.52 and 68.55 (μ mol/g sample). Keywords: Acanthophora muscoides, antioxidant, free, radical ABSTRAK Acanthophora muscoides merupakan salah satu jenis rumput laut merah dan mempunyai senyawa bioaktif yang dapat digunakan sebagai antioksidan alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak metanol dan n-heksan, kadar total fenolat serta kadar pigmen (klorofil a & karotenoid) dari sampel segar A. muscoides. Penentuan aktivitas antioksidan menggunakan menggunakan metode transfer elektron dengan DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhidrazyl) sebagai radikal bebas. Penentuan kadar total fenolat menggunakan pelarut Folin-Ciocalteu dengan asam galat sebagai standar dan penentuan kandungan pigmen menggunakan prinsip spektofotometri pada λ 663 nm, 646 nm dan 470 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan A. muscoides memiliki aktivitas antioksidan sangat lemah dengan nilai IC50 ekstrak metanol 325,47 ppm dan ekstrak n-heksan 351,27 ppm sedangkan kadar total fenolat pada masing-masing ekstrak 22,68 dan 46,19 (mg GAE/g ekstrak), kadar klorofil a 7,72 dan 24,93 (mg/g sampel), dan kadar karotenoid 28,52 dan 68,55 (µ mol/g sampel). Abstract

ABSTRACT A phoswich or sandwich-type scintillation detector consisted of a thin layer of ZnS(Ag) and a plate of NE 102A plastic scintillator and a single crystal-type CsI(Tl) scintillation detector have been applied to differentiate alpha- and beta (X, gamma)- particles by means of pulse shape discrimination (PSD) technique. In this experiment, rise time distributions of alpha- and beta-particles have been measured with uses of a couple of sources of 241Am and 90Sr (90Y) and a 93.3% enriched uranium-aluminum alloy. Rise time resolution of the PSD spectrometer has been measured as 8.8ns ± 1.2% in terms of FWHM (FWTM: l6.3ns), which has been measured with a pulse generator. The most probable rise times of ZnS(Ag)/NE 102A detector have been obtained as 1.473µs ± 0.3% with the FWHM of 40ns for alpha-particles (ZnS(Ag)) and as 32.2ns ± 4.8% with the FWHM of 18ns for beta (X, gamma)-particles (NE l02A). The most probable rise time of the CsI(Tl) detector has been determined as 1.288µs ± 0.l% with the FWHM of 54ns for alpha-particles and as 1.435µs ± 0.l% with the FWHM of 44ns for beta (X, gamma)-particles. It has been clarified that the PSD system equipped with the ZnS(Ag)/NE 102A and the CsI(Tl) detectors gives clearly differentiated count rates and spectra of alpha- and beta (X, gamma)-particles, and application of the PSD system to, for example, screening-out of the radwastes contaminated with alpha-emitters is expected to be very effective.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan ekstrak daun mangrove (Rhizophora Mucronata) terhadap mutu ikan segar. (2) Untuk mengetahui dosis yang terbaik sebagai media pengawet alami pada ikan segar sebelum dilakukan proses pengolahan selanjutnya. Parameter yang diamati yaitu analisis TVB (Total Volatile Base) dan TPC (Total Plate Count). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji F. Hasil dari penelitian nilai TVB pada perlakuan O (kontrol), A (15%), B (20%) dan C (25%) bahwa Fhitung (530,172) > F5% (3,29) dan F1% (5,42) terdapat perbedaan sangat nyata diantara keempat perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata TVB pada perlakuan O (kontrol) 2,591 mg/100g, A (15%) 1,584 mg/100g, B (20%) 0,709 mg/100g dan C (25%) 0,603 mg/100g, terdapat perbedaan selisih sangat nyata diantara keempat perlakuan O (kontrol), A (15%), B (20%) dan C (25%). Dan nilai TPC pada perlakuan O (kontrol), A (15%), B (20%) dan C (25%) bahwa Fhitung (228,677) > F5% (3,29) dan F1% (5,42) terdapat perbedaan sangat nyata diantara keempat perlakuan. Nilai rata-rata TPC pada perlakuan O (kontrol) 335,222 koloni/g, A (15%) 224,515 koloni/g, B (20%) 154,728 koloni/g dan C (25%) 68,97 koloni/g, terdapat perbedaan selisih sangat nyata diantara keempat perlakuan. Dosis terbaik pada perlakuan C (25%).

Abstract

Udang api-api (Metapenaeus monoceros) termasuk jenis udang yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi dalam keaadaan hidup yg dapat di gunakan sebagai umpan dalam proses penangkapan ikan dengan metode pancing. Selama ini, teknologi yang di gunakan untuk menyimpan agar tetap hidup adalah sistem basah, Namun teknologi tersebut kurang efisien dan kurang ekonomis. Penyimpanan dengan sistem kering dapat menjadi pilihan karena tidak menggunakan media air sehingga lebih mudah, ekonomis, dan tanpa harus menjaga kualitas airnya. Kepadatan dalam penyimpanan mempengaruhi kelulushidupan udang karena akan semakin banyak oksigen yg di butuhkan udang untuk respirasi yg akan membuat mortalitas udang semakin tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perbedaan kepadatan terhadap kelulushidupan udang api - api dalam penyimpanan sistem kering. Metode penelian dengan rancangan acak lengkap uji F. Perlakuan berupa perbedan kepadatan (9,19, dan 29). Udang di kemas dalam kotak plastik (150 cm2) yang di alasi dengan jerami dimasukkan kedalam Styrofoam dengan suhu ± 17o C dengan lama penyimpanan 12 jam. Parameter berupa kelulushidupan (survival rate). Penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan sangat nyata terhadap ketahanan hidup udang, Fhitung = > F0,01. Pada kepadatan 9 menghasilkan ketahanan hidup yang optimal 100%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Indonesia is an earthquake-prone area so that several large earthquakes cause a lot of damage. The city of Surakarta has experienced an earthquake that caused severe damage and currently based on the results of the mapping conducted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the city of Surakarta is included in the red zone area or the danger area of ​​a tectonic earthquake. Given that the Al Mukmin Islamic Boarding School is located on the border of the city of Surakarta, which has high-rise school buildings and dormitories that are also multi-storey with the number of students living in dormitories approaching 1,400 people, it is necessary to immediately arrange disaster risk management by mitigating and preparing for earthquake disasters. The goal is the preparation of an evacuation route map in the Al Mukmin Sukoharjo Islamic Boarding School learning building. In order to achieve the goals that have been set, the method used is observation of evacuation routes and plans for installing safety signs. The results of the service in the form of the arrangement of evacuation routes for the boys' and girls' learning buildings as well as plans for the installation of safety signs and the location of the gathering point have been prepared. Abstract

Social science education is a simplification of social science and is an interdisciplinary science so that social science education examines a problem from various social science perspectives in an integrated way. The purpose of social science education is to make good citizens in the sense of being able to understand differences and be able to provide appropriate problem solving because it is supported by information and facts that occur. in addition, the output of social science education is expected to be sensitive to social problems and social participation in society. on the other hand, its implementation in social science learning is faced with very complex obstacles, thus the nature and objectives of social science have not been fully achieved, so what has happened so far is that the output of social science education cannot be relied on for its contribution and even adds to the burden on society.
