Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada mata pelajaran IPA materi gerak benda melalui penerapkan metode diskusi di SDN 4 Kombo. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 4 Kombo dengan jumlah siswa 20 orang. 12 orang siswa laki laki dan 8 orang siswa perempuan. Dari hasil tindakan pada siklus I nilai rata rata perolehan siswa adalah 58 serta ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa 50%, hasil observasi kegiatan guru 60% dan hasil observasi kegiatan siswa 60% sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata rata siswa 82,5 dengan ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa 90%, hasil kegiatan observasi guru 90% dan hasil observasi kegiatan siswa 90%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode diskusi kelompok pada mata pelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV di SDN 4 Kombo Kecamatan DampalSelatan Kabupaten Tolitoli. Abstract

This study aims to determine the chemical content of biomass and compost of the aquatic plants (Pistia stratiotes L.) at the Wasur village, Merauke. Benefits to be gained by the study is obtaining information about the content of the proximate and organic matter of Pistia plants at the Wasur village, so the function can be optimized. The results of chemical content of biomass and compost Pistia showed that plants have the potential to be used as feed additives for monogastric livestock, especially cattle as well as additional materials for composting.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dikatakan berhasil ketika siswa dapat memahami apa yang telah diterimanya. Penggunaan model pembelajaran tidak hanya membantu guru dalam mengajar tetapi juga memudahkan siswa dalam memahami materi yang dipelajari. Hasil observasi awal di SMA Negeri 4 Parepare diperoleh data bahwa siswa kelas XI IPS 2 masih memiliki masalah dengan aktivitas dan hasil belajar untuk mata pelajaran sejarah. Ketuntasan belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 4 parepare sebelum dilakukan penelitian sebesar 32,5%, sehingga aktivitas belajar siswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sejarah dapat kelas XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 4 Parepare tahun 2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Parepare, subjek penelitian adalah kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 40 siswa yang akan diteliti aktivitas dan hasil belajar melalui model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Prosedur penelitian tindakan terdiri dari dua siklus. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah RPP, lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan guru, dan soal tes evaluasi. Hasil penelitian siklus I menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata presentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 72%, nilai tersebut dalam kategori baik. Ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar kognitif pada siklus I diperoleh 57,5% dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 65,63. Pada siklus II rata-rata presentase aktivitas belajar siswa sebesar 88%, nilai tersebut dalam kategori baik sekali. Ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebesar 85%, dengan rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 76. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 2. Keberhasilan penggunaan model pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Diharapkan guru melakukan inovasi model pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research isabout exploring the amount of sago waste as the basic ingredient of compost. The research aimed to change sago waste into useful organic compound in composting process. Ingredients used in this research weresago waste, cow dung, bran, palm sugar, water and Biosmik as the decomposer. The comparisons between sago waste and cow dungwere 1 : 1, 2 : 1, and 3 : 1. The Biosmik used was1 kg/ton compost material. This research was held at the Green House of Agriculture Faculty Musamus University Merauke. The research procedure included sago waste location survey, interviewing the local community about sago waste, takingthe sago waste as the ingredient for compost, preparing ingredients and materials, making compost, and analyzingcompost NPKsample. The result showed that treatmentby which the sago waste and cow dungcomparison = 2 : 1 is the best comparison that can be used as recommendationas a compost.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the description of planning, implementation, supervision and supporting factors and obstacles to teacher discipline in Baraka MTs Negeri Enrekang District. This research is a research with a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study were the principal, vice principal, teacher, and students in the Baraka District MTs. Enrekang. the results of the study show (1) the discipline planning of teachers in the State Baraka District MTs. Enrekang is done well. (2) The implementation of teacher discipline is carried out by giving reward and punishment to the teacher, this is very influential on the implementation of the discipline of teachers in schools. (3) Supervision of teacher discipline is carried out well, Supervision is carried out before activities, during activities, and after activities. This supervision is carried out continuously to ensure the implementation of discipline in accordance with the plan. (4) Factors supporting the implementation of teacher discipline management are: goals and abilities, leadership / exemplary, legal sanctions, active supervision, conditions and work environment. (5) Inhibiting factors for the implementation of the discipline management of teachers in schools, namely the presence of teachers who are unable to attend on time at school but do not provide information to the school.

Abstract

This research aims to test the efficiency by using inputs production and analyse farming income of Bawang Merah Varietas Lembah Palu which managed by farmers in Bulupountu Jaya village. Bawang merah is one of vegetable commodity that has big market ooportunity in agricultural sector. The results by hypothesis testing of input production which are, area (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3), and labour (X4) simultanly and parsially are influencing positive and highly significant. All variables of inputs production, area (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3), and labour (X4), there are three inputs production haven’t allocated efficiently. They’re area, seeds, and fertilizer. While labours (X4) has allocated efficiently. So, from all of variables which have analysed, labour is the only one of inputs production that has allocated efficiently. Farming of Bawang Merah Varietas Lembah Palu earns income as Rp. 21.746.480,24/0,34 Ha or Rp. 64.634.792,65/Ha. Abstract

The aim to this study was to determine the effect of plastic silver mulch and rice straw mulch on soil moisture conservation of green bean so that the plant can grow in dry season with enough water. The method used in this study was a randomized block design with three treatments: no mulch (T0), plastic silver mulch (T1) and rice straw mulch (T2). The parameters observed were physical soil of initial and final research, soil moisture measurements every 3 days, as well as growth and crop production parameters including plant height, number of seeds in pods, 100 seeds weight, sample plant production and total production. The results showed that the physical of soil analyzed were clay textured soil, preliminary porosity 60.77 and at the end of the study increased to 77.50%, organic matter 1.52%, initial bulk density 1.04 g/cm3 at the end of the study decreased to 0.60 g/cm3, soil permeability of 7.77 cm / hour and available water is 13.95%. The use of rice straw mulch from the beginning to the end of the study showed the best water content while the use of plastic silver mulch and no mulch showed water content not much different. The use of palstic silver mulch gives the highest yield of the best crops on 14 HST measurements where the plastic silver mulch differs markedly by the rice straw mulch and no mulch. The yield of green beans produced in the treatment of plastic silver mulch using the best results with a total production of 2.00 tons/ha, this result is significantly different from no mulch but not significantly different of rice straw mulch. Rice straw mulch is better used for soil conservation because it can improve soil aeration, retain water, prevent soil erosion, and increase organic matter on the soil.

Abstract

Custom reflects the personality and soul of a society or nation, is hereditary and contains belief values ​​in it. The Wati plant (Piper methysticum Forst) is one of the parts or tools used in a Marind tribal in Merauke Regency. As part of custom, it is necessary to develop so that the custom can be maintained. Therefore, most to find simple propagation and cultivation techniques of Wati plants and later can be applied to the community. This study aim to analyze the utilization of agricultural waste into liquid fertilizer which is applied to wati plants. The metode of study with randomized block design (RBD) with five treatments, is P0 (2 l of water) as a control, P1 (10 mL), P2 (20 mL), P3 (30 mL), and P4 (40 mL). Each treatment was repeated as many as five times, so that 25 experimental units. The parameters observed were the content of N, K, and P2O5, from agricultural waste, stem diameter, number of leaves and stem length. The results showed that the N and P2O5 contents were low, whereas K had met the minimum technical requirements for POC. The results of the POC application showed that the best growth of wati plant seeds for plant height and number of leaves with a dose of 40 mL/L water.

Abstract

Masalah dan penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Inti Baina’a. tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn melalui metode demontrasi. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan 2 siklus yang terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 33 orang, terdiri atas 13 orang perempuan dan 20 orang laki-laki. Data yang diambil adalah data kuantitatif yaitu data hasil observasi diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan situasi pembelajaran, serta data kuantitatif yaitu data hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil tes. Hasil penelitian siklus I diperoleh tuntas secara individu 22 orang dan belum tuntas individu 11 orang dengan persentase daya serap klasikal 80,15% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 33,33%. Hasil belajar siklus II seluruh siswa dinyatakan lulus 100% dengan presentase daya serap klasikal 88,48%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Model Demonstrasi, Pembelajaran PKn
