Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia interaktif fisika dan menganalisis implikasinya dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian dan pengembangan pendidikan (Educational Research and Development). Jenis penelitian R&D adalah suatu proses yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi produk-produk pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan terbukti mampu membantu mahasiswa untuk memahami konsep fisika dengan  lebih baik, khususnya pada konsep-konsep fisika abstrak yang telah divisualisasikan. Beberapa konsep yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi antara lain optik geometri (58,2%), gaya sentral (68,8%), temperatur dan pemuaian (71,7%), hukum Coulomb (68,6%). Semua konsep tersebut umumnya merupakan konsep yang abstrak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa visualisasi pada konsep abstrak tersebut dapat dikategorikan berhasil membantu mahasiswa memahami konsep dengan lebih baik. Pada konsep-konsep dengan persamaan matematis yang dominan, umumnya peningkatan penguasaan konsep pada kedua kelas tidak berbeda secara signifikan.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama siswa pada umumnya adalah siswa kurang mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika yang berorientasi HOTS. Berdasarkan masalah ini, perlu dilakukan pelatihan penyelesaian soal-soal fisika yang berorientasi pada HOTS melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM). Mitra kegiatan PKM ini adalah SMAK Kesuma Mataram dengan kelompok mitra yang terlibat dalam kegiatan sebanyak 13 (tigabelas) siswa kelas XII IPA. Sesuai dengan prioritas permasalahan yang ada, maka solusi yang direncanakan, yaitu melalui proses pelatihan dan pendampingan. Solusi yang dimaksud pada implementasinya melalui; (a) In Service Training (IST), yaitu pelatihan penyelesaian soal-soal fisika yang berorientasi pada HOTS, dan (b) On Service Training (OST), yaitu penyajian soal-soal fisika yang berorientasi pada HOTS dan meminta siswa menyelesaikannya serta mengevaluasi capaian siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fisika yang berorientasi HOTS tersebut. Dengan persiapan yang dilakukan, kegiatan PKM dilaksanakan dengan mode daring (online) memanfaatkan media zoom meeting melalui In Service Training (IST) dan On Service Training (OST). Kegiatan PKM berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan serta mendapat respon positif dari pihak sekolah mitra. Kedepan diharapkan dapat dilakukan kegiatan serupa di sekolah lain karena siswa sangat membutuhkan pelatihan yang terkait dengan penyelesaian soal-soal fisika berorientasi higher-order thinking skills (HOTS).

Abstract

This is an educational research and development. R&D is a process used to develop and validate educational products. The results showed that the developed interactive multimedia proven to help students to understand the concepts of physics better, especially on abstract concepts of physics that has been visualized. Some of the concepts that experienced the highest increase among others the optical geometry (58.2%), central force (68.8%), temperature and expansion (71.7%), Coulomb's law (68.6%). All of these concepts are generally an abstract concept. It shows that the visualization of abstract concepts which can be considered successful in helping students understand the concepts better. Concepts with mathematical equations dominant, generally increasing mastery of concepts in both classes did not differ significantly.Keywords: Interactive Multimedia, Student’s Understanding of Physics

Abstract

This study aims to develop problem-based learning  device in terms of  validity and student responses. Learning device was developed covering  the syllabus, lesson plans, fundamental of physics  textbook, exsperiment in fundamental physics , worksheets, and learning outcome test. The expected benefits of this research is the problem-based learning tools that can be used as an alternative to the lecturer of the fundamental of physics learning in FKIP  Mataram of University.This refers to the process of developing 4D models (define, design, develop, disseminate). The results validate the lecturer learning device consisting of a syllabus, lesson plans, fundamental of physics  textbook, experiment in fundamental physics , worksheets, and learning outcome test successivelyobtained scores of 2.65, 2.68, 3.30, 3.25, 2.285 and 3.14 are decent categorized. Student learning outcomes is seen from indicators of student achievement of cognitive learning and experiment processes value  row gets a percentage of 76.80%  and 78.50%, while the scientific attitude  students which amounted  average value of 76.42 and scientific attitude  students can be interpreted good categorized. The positive student responses which amounted to 85.90%. From the validation results, student learning outcomes and student responses can be interpreted decent  device.

Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research with one group pretest – posttest design. The aim of this research is to know the efectivity of the conceptual changes model to solve the physics misconception of students in grade X SMAN 1 Praya Barat for academic year 2012/2013. The population is all of the students grade X SMAN 1 Praya Barat, it is 273 students and the sample is grade X.6, its 33 students that taking by using purposive sampling technique. The misconception data analized using gain value and N-gain. We get gain value (G) 17,5 % and N-gain <g> 0,65 with medium criteria. It’s mean that the conceptual changes model is efective to solve the student misconception in grade X SMAN 1 Praya Barat with medium criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a model of virtual labs on some concepts of physics. In this article will describe some of the findings of the preliminary study carried out in the framework of the development of the virtual laboratory model. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and studies related documents. The results showed that a number of problems related to the lecture held, particularly with respect to the selection method of teaching on certain concepts, issues related to the activities of laboratory experiments, the description of the physics of matter that is difficult for students. Results of this study are expected to be the basis for the development of the model as well as efforts to improve the quality of learning physics, particularly for prospective teachers of physics.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which aims to increase the students activities and physics learning outcomes with implementation problem based learning model assisted by props in grade VIIIA SMPN 22 Mataram 2014/2015. This classroom action research conducted by two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. Action research consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The implementation of classroom action research was successful because it obtained an average score of students learning activities from the first cycle to the second cycle was on active criterion to be very active with average scores of 16,875 to be 22,75. Cognitive learning outcomes of students with the average value of the first cycle of 74,13 with classical completeness 73,91% increased with the average value of second cycle of 79,35 with classical completeness 86,96%. Affective students learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle with an average value of 66,195 to 78,95 on the criteria good enough to be good. Psychomotor students learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle an average value of 71,63 to 85,655 are the criteria enough skilled become skilled. Thus, this research can be concluded by implementation of problem based learning model aided by props can increase students activities and learning outcomes of phyics grade VIIIA SMPN 22 Mataram in academic year 2014/2015.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to increase physical activity and learning outcomes of students SMPN 2 Lingsar the academic year 2014/2015. The subjects in this study VIII5 classes totaling 40 people. Implementation of classroom action research was conducted in two cycles with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Student learning activity data obtained through observation, while data on student learning outcomes obtained through the administration of the test at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of the evaluation cycle I obtained an average score of student learning activity is 11, which is in the category fairly active. The average value of the class in the first cycle of 73.95 with 78.95% classical completeness. Results of the evaluation in the second cycle to the average score is 14.6 students' learning activities that are in the active category. The average value of the class in the second cycle of 78.10 with 89.19% classical completeness. The average score of student learning activity increased from the first cycle to the second cycle of 3.6, the learning outcomes of students increased by 4.15, while the classical completeness increased by 10.24%. Based on the results of this study concluded that the implementation of the learning model Quantum with discussion method can increase physical activity and learning outcomes VIII5 grade students of SMPN 2 Lingsar the academic year 2014/2015.

Abstract

This “non-equivalent control group design” quasi experimental research was purposed to identify the effect of generative-based learning model using virtual laboratory media towards the students’ concept mastery and creativity in physics. The population of this research is all 173 students of X grade in SMK Negeri 7 Mataram. The X grade students of Teknik Komputer Jaringan A (TKJ-A) department was determined as the experimental group and the X grade students of Teknik Komputer Jaringan B (TKJ-B) department was the control group. The way of collecting data for the concept mastery was done by using multiple choice test. The result revealed that the mean score of the post-test for the concept mastery was 43 for the experimental group with the highest score 56. Meanwhile the mean score of the control group was 36 with the highest score 52. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test pooled variances. The result showed that the value of ttab is higher than tarith the value is 3,42 > 2,00 for the concept mastery. As the conclusion, this research showed that there was an effect towards the experimental group students’ concept mastery and creativity in physics which was treated using generative-based learning model using virtual laboratory media.

Abstract

Learning physics should be able to provide an understanding physics of abstract concepts. One of the efforts being made to improve the learning of Physics is to use appropriate learning model. This study aims to improve the student’s conceptual understanding by using project based learning model with virtual media for X Grade student at SMAN 2 Mataram Years 2015/2016. This study was conducted using a type of quasi-experimental research, untreated control group design with pretest and posttest on Optic. Hypothesis test results that the model used to give effect to the  student’s conceptual understanding, was shown to increase student conceptual understanding was higher in the experimental class compared with the control class. N-gain test results stating that the conceptual understanding has increased in each sub material. The results of the analysis conceptual understanding score on every aspect of cognitive increased.ÂÂ
