Abstract

This study examines the movement of modernization of education dayah in recent decades. The object of this research is centered on Dayah Modern Education Foundation Arun Lhokseumawe, which is a dayah that has successfully developed the education system by using the approach of modern spirituality reality while maintaining the quality of education. This research uses qualitative approach through case study model design. Based on the findings of researchers concluded that modernization is carried out the system of vision-mission elaboration, implementation and elaboration of dayah curriculum that combines the national curriculum (school) with the local curriculum (dayah) that supports the perfection of the teaching and learning system, learning tools or media used, teaching and learning methods used, as well as a modern evaluation or assessment system to know the success rate of student learning, or santriwan and santriwati. The process of modernization of education in modern dayah Arun Education Foundation began with the establishment of MTs and MA dayah modern YAPENA in 2009 as an application of the vision of realizing a quality modern dayah to give birth to a generation of Muslims who believe and fear.

Abstract

Bengkulu City is one of the vulnerable areas to undergo earthquakes in Indonesia. Two major earthquakes happened in 2000 and 2007 had appeared the issue that the site condition played the important role in determining the seismic effect in Bengkulu City. However, the detail understanding of local site condition including the parameter to measure it, is still not fully achieved. This paper presents a comparative study of geophysical measurement to characterise local site condition in Bengkulu City. The geophysical surveys using Multichannel Analysis of Surface Wave (MASW) and Ambient Noise of Microtremor methods are performed to several sites in Bengkulu City. Furthermore, the inversion analysis to generate shear wave velocity (Vs) is performed. The comparisons to site class and time-averaged shear wave velocity for first 30 m depth (Vs30) are also compared. The results show that MASW results tend to be more conservative than Microtremor results. However, both measurements show the similar tendency for site class condition. This study also proposed the empirical models in estimating Vs30 and seismic vulnerability (Kg) indices for Bengkulu City. Those models are reliable in engineering practice application in Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis biochar terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman serai wangi (Cymoopogon nardus L) pada tanah ultisol. Penelitian ini dimulai pada bulan April sampai dengan Juni 2020, menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial. Adapun perlakuan yang dicobakan sebagai berikut : B0 : Tanpa Biochar/ Kontrol , B1 : Dosis Biochar sekam padi 5 g. kg-1 tanah tanah, B2 : Dosis Biochar sekam padi g. kg-1 tanah tanah, B3 : Dosis Biochar sekam padi 15 g. kg-1 tanah tanah, B4 : Dosis Biochar sekam padi 20 g. kg-1 tanah tanah, B5 : Dosis Biochar sekam padi 25 g. kg-1 tanah tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian biochar pada dosis 25 g. kg-1 tanah memberikan hasil yang paling baik pada pertumbuhan tanaman serai wangi.

Abstract

Kebutuhan energi listrik yang semakin meningkat sebaiknya ditunjang dengan usaha peningkatan kualitas terhadap para pelanggan. Kualitas yang dimaksud adalah kualitas pelayanan teknis yang mampu memberikan aliran energi listrik dengan daya yang mencukupi dan handal. Energi listrik disalurkan melalui sistem distribusi tenaga listrik. Analisis keandalan sistem distribusi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode section technique. Berdasarkan perhitungan menggunakan metode section technique, nilai SAIFI dan SAIDI penyulang KB1 paada PLN Rayon Koba Bangka Tengah masih handal dan memenuhi standar PLN, (SAIFI3,84 kali/tahun dan SAIDI 25,2 jam/tahun). Nilai SAIFI dan SAIDI pada penyulang KB1 berturut-turut sebesar 3,22 kali/tahun dan 4,11 jam/tahun. Sementara nilai SAIFI dan SAIDI pada penyulang KB2 tidak handal dan belum memenuhi standar PLN. Penyulang KB2 memiliki nilai SAIFI sebesar 5,57 kali/tahun dan nilai SAIDI 8,85 jam/tahun

Abstract

Ilmu fisika sebagai bahagian dari sains alam, diperoleh dari pengalaman ilmiahmemerlukan berbagai representasi dan argumentasi ilmiah dalam mengajarkannya untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal. Belajar sains tidak sekedar belajar informasi sains tentang fakta, konsep, prinsip, hukum dalam wujud ‘pengetahuan deklaratif’, akan tetapi belajar sains juga belajar tentang cara memperoleh informasi sains, cara sains dan teknologi bekerja dalam bentuk pengetahuan procedural. Untuk itu di tuntut termasuk kebiasaan bekerja ilmiah. Sains sebagai produk dan proses, hasil belajar siswa sangat tergantung kepada proses pembelajaran yang diciptakan guru di dalam kelas. Dalambelajar siswa seharusnya menyusun pengetahuan mereka sendiri dengan menggunakan berbagai presentasi dan argumentasi ilmiah agar pemahaman yang terbentuk lebih bermakna.

Abstract

Tingkat keberhasilan usaha budidaya tambak secara intensif sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan petani untuk mengatasi penurunan kualitas air yang salah satunya masalah kelarutan oksigen yang rendah melalui proses aerasi. Salah satu tipe alat aerasi yang umum digunakan adalah aerator kincir karena merupakan aerator yang paling baik dari segi mekanisme aerasi dan tenaga penggerak yang dapat digunakan. Namun aerator ini masih memiliki kinerja aerasi yang rendah sehingga biaya operasional kincir untuk pengelolaan budidaya tambak masih tinggi. Selama ini usaha peningkatan kinerja aerasi dilakukan dengan pengembangan sudu secara dua dimensi. Hal ini tidak memberikan hasil yang optimal karena kebutuhan daya untuk aerasi berbanding lurus dengan kenaikan laju aerasi. Pengembangan sudu tiga dimensi merupakan salah satu alternatif solusi. Sudut posisi sudu arah horizontal merupakan parameter desainnya. Penelitian bertujuan mendapatkan sudut posisi sudu arah horizontal untuk pengembangan sudu tiga dimensi. Kincir yang digunakan mempunyai sudu delapan buah, ukuran sudu 15x20 cm dengan diameter lubang sudu 16 mm dan sudut posisi sudu arah vertikal 45º. Variasi sudut posisi sudu arah horizontal dilakukan pada 0º, 15º dan 30º dengan putaran kincir 115, 135 dan 154 rpm pada kecelupan sudu 12 cm. Pengujian dilakukan untuk mendapatkan torsi dan daya listrik yang digunakan dan volume penutupan semburan yang dihasilkan sebagai kesamaan dari laju perpindahan oksigen yang terjadi. Hasil pengujian terbaik dihasilkan pada sudut posisi sudu arah horizontal 30º dengan putaran kincir 154 rpm yaitu torsi 46.70 N, daya listrik 564.39 Watt, dan volume penutupan semburan 4.55 m3.Kata Kunci: aerator kincir, sudut posisi sudu arah horizontal, torsi, daya listrik, volume penutupan semburan.

Abstract

Beutong District is one of the sub-districts in Nagan Raya Regency with an area of 1,017.32 Km2. The topography of Beutong District supports the cultivation of freshwater fisheries. The purpose of this service activity is to educate and apply the provision of probiotic technology made from local ingredients to increase production performance and the health status of economically important freshwater aquaculture fish. The method used in this activity is an educational method and application of probiotic technology made from local raw materials for economically important freshwater fish. The program begins with educating about the concept of using probiotic technology made from local ingredients, how to make probiotics made from local ingredients, methods of giving probiotics made from local ingredients and ending with training on good fish farming. Monitoring and evaluation will also be carried out to see the level of independence of fish farmers in applying the science and technology that has been taught and the sustainability of the program as well as the obstacles during this program. The result of this service activity is that probiotic technology made from local ingredients is effectively applied to economically important freshwater fish farming.

Abstract

The objective of this research examining  stability and flow value was to investigate the impact of the utility of iron fillings waste as a subtitute material for the number of suprisingly small aggregates in the mixture of asphalt. In this research, the portion of iron filings waste which given were 5 %, 10 % and 15 % of the heavy mixture smooth aggregates. The stability quantitative value was 2093 kg in 15 % iron filings contents. The higest flow quantitative value was 3,5  mm in 5 % iron filings contents. The result of characteristic validation Marshall on the number of subtituted smooth aggregates which used iron filings gave a standard coefficient specification BM.2005. So based on that, the iron fillings waste technically could be received as a subtitute material for the mixture of suprisingly small aggregates.

Abstract

Lebong Regency is an earthquake-prone area in Bengkulu Province. This is because Lebong Regency is located adjacent to the Bukit Barisan Mountains which are included in the earthquake-prone zone and in the line of active faults. This research was conducted at Mr. Sonid’s vernacular house in Gunung Alam Village, Pelabai District, Lebong Regency to determine the behavior and the resistance of its structure.The behavior and resilience of the vernacular house structure against earthquakes is analyzed based on SNI 1726:2019. The analysis was carried out using SAP 2000 software to obtain the actual internal forces in the form of bending moment (M), shear force (V), and compressive force (P).The capacity of the wood structure was analyzed using the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method which refers to SNI 7973:2013 to obtain adjusted moment capacity values (M'), adjusted compression capacity (P'), and adjusted shear capacity (V').The results of structural analysis of earthquakes produce the same actual internal forces in medium and soft soil conditions so that all structural elements of the vernacular house have the same structural behavior.Analysis of the capacity of the wooden structure results the adjusted internal forces of some structural elements which are smaller than the actual internal forces, so that the vernacular house structure is unable to withstand the forces that occur. However, based on the earthquake and its impact until this research was conducted, the condition of the vernacular house still stands strong without any damage to its structural elements.

Abstract

Indonesia has 2 seasons, rainy season and wet season. Normally, it will be flooding in the rainy season in Bengkulu mosely in Central Bengkulu. Flooding happens every year, and this problem does not have the solution yet and the fread shows the increase in frequency, the areas, the depth and the duration. Central Bengkulu has bad drainage. No bad condition of the road, its dishersing the activity of the society. It is imposible to wait for the action from the government to overcome this situation. The society pay great attention from the speech and discusstion about the method to make drainage based on standard. Keywords: Flood, Drainage Contruction, Government and Stakeholders
