Abstract

This research also examined the moderating effect of gender, social supportand individual values on the relationship between the work-family conflict and turnoverintentions. The participants of this study were 210 low and middle managers of four and fivestar hotels in Bali. This sample consisted of 126 males and 84 females. Multiple regression andhierarchical methods were used to test the proposed hypotheses. The result showed that WIFpositively and significantly influences the turnover intention but FIW did not. It was also foundthat social support significantly moderates the relationships between variables studied, butgender and individual value had no impact on it.Keywords: turnover intention, work interfering with family, family interfering with work,gender, social support, individual value.

Abstract

In order to improve the competitiveness of local fruits in Bali in particular and Indonesia in general against imported fruits, especially for hedonic consumers, appropriate strategies and policies are needed in the development and strengthening of the market. So the purpose of this research was: 1). To know the influence of labeling to the buying intention of local fruit on hedonic consumers in Bali. 2) To know the influence of brand image to consumer buying intention of local fruit on hedonic consumers in Bali. 3). To know the influence of packaging on the buying intention of local fruit on the hedonic consumer in Bali. This research was conducted on local and imported fruit consumers in Bali. The research location is in fruit shops, supermarkets and traditional markets that sell local and imported fruits in Bali Province. This data is obtained by using survey method, that is by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis methods by using SPSS program version 20.0 for windows. The result of SPSS test shows that labeling has a positive and significant influence on consumer buying intention (B = 0.257; t = 3.208; p <0,05), brand image have positive and significant influence on consumer buying intention (B = 0.550; t = 8.507; p <0.05), while packaging has a positive but not significant effect on consumer buying intention (B = 0.055; t = 0.576, p <0.05), and its Adjusted R Square Value of 0.454 which means that labeling, brand image , and packaging able to explain variation of consumer buying intention variable equal to 45.4% and the rest equal to 54.6% explained by other variables outside model. These results show that Hypotheses 1 and 2 are supported, whereas hypothesis 3 is not supported. Hypothesis 3 is not supported means the packaging variable has no influence on consumer buying intention.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of role conflict which consists of work family conflict and family work conflict and role ambiguity on performance of BPR employee's in Gianyar Regency. This research also examined the moderating effect of gender on the relationship of work family conflict, family work conflict, and role ambiguity on employee performance. Data collection techniques in this study used a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability first. The population in this study were 5 BPR of 25 BPR on Gianyar Regency. The method of determining the sample uses the criteria of married employees, so that the sample in this study was 110 women and 70 men. The WrapPLS version 6.0 analysis method is used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results showed that work family conflict, family work conflict, and role ambiguity had a negative and significant influence on employee performance. However, gender does not have a moderating effect on the relationship between work family conflict, familywork conflict, and roleambiguity on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the infuence of transformational leadership to perceptional justice. Beside that it also indicated the relationship between perceptional justice to unethical behavioral. The respondence of this study was employee in hotel industries, which located in Nusa Dua area. SPSS version 20.0 was used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results showed transformational leadership can directly affect perceptional justice. However, perceptional justice had a negative effect on unethical behavioral. Discussion and limitation for future research is presented.
