Abstract

Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik melalui model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe di kelas IV. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. PTK tersebut dilakukan selama 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan pembelajaran dengan satu pertemuan satu rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Rancangan Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan (planning), tindakan (action), observasi (observation) dan refleksi (reflection). Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang berjumlah 25 peserta didik terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik, dan lembar observasi aktivitas guru. Hasil meningkatnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dapat dilihat disetiap tahapan siklus. Hasil PTK ini menunjukan pembelajaran menggunakan model group investigation berbantu media videoscribe dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada tema 7 Indahnya Keragaman di Negeriku di kelas IV SDN 2 Selakambang. Peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setiap siklus pada siklus I mendapatkan rata-rata 2,78 sedangkan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 3,65 tergolong kriteria baik.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) know the influence from the guided quantum model toward sosial studies achievement, 2) know the influence of the participation toward the sosial studies achievement, 3) the interaction using the guided quantum model, direct learning model and student’s participation toward the sosial studies achievement. This type of research is experimental research. The sampling that used in this research is the cluster random sampling technique. The population were the fourth grade students of SDN 2 Sokaraja Tengah that consist of two class, there’s IV A class as the experiment class and the IV B class as the control class. The sampling in the IV A class using the guided quantum model and the IV B class using direct learning model. The sampling is used a test and questionnaire. The data analysis is used two lane variance analysis. The result showed that, 1) the guided quantum model has an influence to student’s sosial studies achievement that proved with Fcolumn = 4,698> Ftable = 4,02significance column 0,048<0.05, 2) there’s an participation influence to the students achievement that proved Flane = 4,828> Ftable = 4,02  significance line 0,030< 0,05, 3) there’s no interaction between guided quantum model, direct learning and students participation toward sosial studies achievement that proved Finteraction = 0,828< Ftable = 4,02  interaction significance0,166> 0,05. 193 193 196 Keyword        : Academic Achievement, Guided Quantum Model, Participation

Abstract

ABSTRACT            The research aimed to enhance students’ achievement in the sixth theme of the beauty of my country and the first sub theme about the variety of animal and plants through scientific approach of problem based learning model. The subjects were the students of class VIB SD Negeri 2 Gombong Kebumen regency that consisted of 30 students, 19 female and 11 male ones. It was classroom action research that conducted in two cycles. There were three meeting for each cycle. Then each cycle consisted of planning, doing action, observing, and reflecting. The data was collected by using test and non test. The test was in the form of questions that used to measure the students’ achievement on the cognitive aspect. It was conducted in the end of every meeting in each cycle. The non test was in the form of observation and documentation. The result of the research showed that the learning process using scientific approach of problem based learning model is able to improve students’ achievement. In cycle I, in the cognitive skill, the mean score was 72,44 with the passing grade of 67,77%. In cycle II, the mean score was improved to 80with the passing grade of85,53%. The students’ achievement on the affective skill was 74,4% in cycle I and improved to 84,54% in cycle II. Then the students’ achievement on the phsycomotoric skill was 74% in cycle I and improved to 83,11%. Based on the result, it can be summed up that the thematic learning using scientific approach through problem based learning is able to improve the students’ achievement in class IVB SD Negeri 2 Gombong. Key words: Students’ Achievement, Animal and Plants, Scientific Approach,                    Problem Based Learning

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research is aimed at finding out the effect of self-concept, learning habit, and achievement motivation toward the students learning achievement at the six-grade of Elementary Schools in the Kebasen District of the Banyumas Regency in Central Java, Indonesia, both individually and wholly. This research belongs to ex-post facto type with descriptive-quantitative approach. The sample, a cluster one, was 20% of the population which was 150 students of the six grade or two classes of each category. The data for the learners’ self-concept, learning habit, and achievement motivation was collected through questionnaire based on Likert scale with four options of answer, while that of the students learning achievement was taken from the list of scores of the National Examination. The correlation between the independent and dependent variable was analyzed using correlational statistics and multiple regression. Hypothesis was tested at the level of significance with α = 0.05. The result was that the mean score of the self concept was 3.175, the learning habit 3.311, and the achievement motivation 2.973, which belong to the category “high, very high, and high” respectively. The mean score of the learning achievement was 22.09, which was categorized as “fair”. Individually, the self-concept (t = 3.512, p = 0.001), learning habit (t = 2.603, p = 0.010), and achievement motivation (t = 2.679, 0 = 0.008) gave positive and significant effect toward learning achievement. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development) yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi Tematik Apps dalam bentuk media pembelajaran mobile learning berbais android untuk siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Four-D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Validasi media dilakukan oleh tiga ahli yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli bahasa. Media yang dikembangkan diujicobakan secara terbatas dan secara luas. Ujicoba terbatas dilakukan di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Keniten sedangkan ujicoba luas dilakukan di SD Negeri Windujaya dan SD Negeri Karangnangka. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa diproleh skor rata-rata pada aspek materi sebesar 72,5 (Cukup Layak), pada aspek media sebesar 85,5 (Sangat Layak), dan pada aspek bahasa sebesar 75,0 (Layak). Berdasarkan respon dari dua guru kelas V menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata responden 1 sebesar 98,46 % dan dari responden 2 bahwa skor rata-rata mencapai 83,08% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan respon siswa pada uji pengembangan diperoleh skor rata-rata pada pada koefisien repodusibilitas mencapai rata-rata 0,5 sedangkan koefisien skalbilitas mencapai rata-rata 1,0 dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”.Hasil uji validasi untuk peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa yang dilakukan menggunakan pretes dan postes diperoleh nilai gain sebesar 0,5 tergolong (Sedang).

Abstract

This study is a research and development which aims to develop Thematic Apps applications in the form of android mobile learning media for elementary school students. This development research was carried out using the Four-D model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Media validation is carried out by three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and linguists. The media developed is tested in a limited and broad manner. Limited trials were conducted in the fifth grade of Keniten 2 Public Elementary School while extensive trials were conducted in Windujaya Public Elementary School and Karangnangka Public Elementary School. Based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, and linguists obtained an average score on the material aspects of 72.5 (Fairly Worthy), on the media aspect of 85.5 (Very Worthy), and on the language aspect by 75.0 (Worth ) Based on the response from two class V teachers, it showed that the average score of respondents 1 was 98.46% and from respondents 2 that the average score reached 83.08% with the category "Very Worthy". Based on the response of students in the development test obtained an average score on the repodusibility coefficient reaches an average of 0.5 while the scalbility coefficient reaches an average of 1.0 with the category "Very Eligible". The results of the validation test for improving student achievement are conducted using pretest and posttest obtained a gain value of 0.5 classified (Moderate).
