Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yangmengambil mata kuliah Bumi dan Ruang Angkasa dengan menggunakan mediapembelajaran multimedia dan disakusi terbimbing.Metode penelitian yang digunakanadalah metode PTK yaitu terdiri dari 4 tahapan mulai dari perencanaan, tindakan, evaluasidan refleksi. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester IV kelas C yangmengambil mata kuliah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1)Nilai rata-ratameningkat dari 67,7 pada tahun akademik 2009/2010 menjadi 81,2 pada 2019/2011.Jumlah mahasiswa didik yang mendapat nilai diatas 70 pada tahun akademik 2009/2010mencapai 94,3%, sedangkan pada tahun sebelumnya baru mencapai 69,8%. Dengandemikian media pembelajaran multimedia dan diskusi terbimbing dapat meningkatkanprestasi belajar mahasiswa.Kata kunci : bumi dan ruang angkasa, prestasi belajar, PTK

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in achievement of students who take courses in Earth and Space with the use of multimedia instructional media and guided discussion. The method used is the CAR method, which consists of 4 stages from planning, action, evaluation and reflection. Subjects were all students who took this course. The results showed that (1) The average value increased from 67.7 in the academic year 2009/2010 be 81.2 in 2019/2011. The number of students of students who scored above 70 in this academic year  reached 94.3%, whereas in the previous year just only 69.8%. Thus multimedia instructional media and guided discussions can improve student achievement. Keywords : space  and earth course, achievement, CAR Abstrak. Abstract

Learning to program can be difficult for the students. Students must master language syntax, programming theory, and problem-solving techniques. Efforts have been made to assist students in understanding how to program. This study is intended to examine whether Arduino, as a teaching and learning tool, helps in generating students’ interests towards programming. Arduino is one of the physical computing tools which has an open-source electronics platform based on user-friendly hardware and software for creating different projects and applications. Arduino is easy to be used by beginners, yet flexible enough for advanced users to learn physical computing and programming. This study adopted a quantitative research method to measure the student’s attitude in learning programming using physical computing. The sample of this study is 56 students from the foundation program and undergraduate program. To gauge students’ perception, students’ attitude survey was adapted. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis, the study found that the overall mean score was 4.253. The result indicated that student has a positive attitude in learning programming using physical computing.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPrincipal leadership and  teacher performance are inseparable things . Improving the quality of education is determined by the human resources involved in the education process.   There are many factors that can improve teacher work performance. One of them is the leadership of the principal. The leadership style of the principal is very influential on performance. teacher  This study aims to analyze the effect of the principal's competence on ork motivation and teacher performance. This research is a qualitative study using a survey. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and analyzed using  with the samples studied were principals and teachers. From the results of research in the field it is concluded that in general the principal's performance is fairly good, and this has an impact on the good performance of teachers as well.
