Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan IbM adalah menyusun rekomendasi pengendalian hama tanaman padi sawah dsecara terpadu yaitu teknologi PHT yang bertumpuh pada cara cultural, fisik/mekanis, biologi/hayati dan pemanfaatan insektisida botanis yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan IbM ini merupakan gabungan dari kajian percobaan lapang dan studi pustaka. Penelitian menggunakan metode penyuluhan dalam bentuk ceramah, diskusi dan aplikasi lapang.Kegiatan IbM di desa Makalonsow menghasilkan rekomendasi Pengendalian Hama Secara Terpadu (PHT) terhadap hama tanaman padi sawah sebagai berikut : 1. PHT Terhadap Hama Tryporyza innotata , Chilo suppressalis, Sesamia inferens, Nymphula depunctalis yaitu Pengendalian Kultural dan Pengendalian Kimia Ramah Lingkungan. 2. PHT Terhadap Hama Nephotettix virescens, Nilaparvata lugens, Leptocorisa acuta, Pareaucosmetus sp. Yaitu Pengendalian Kultural, Pengendalian Biologi/Hayati,dan Pengendalian Kimia Ramah Lingkungan. 3. PHT Terhadap Hama Keong Emas (Pomacea caniculata) yaitu Pengendalian Kultural, Pengendalian Fisik dan Mekanis, Pengendalian Hayati, dan Pengendalian Kimia Ramah Lingkungan. 4. PHT Terhadap Hama Tikus (Ratus argentiventer) yaitu Pengendalian Kultural, Pengendalian Fisik dan Mekanis, Pengendalian Biologi/Hayati, dan Pengendalian Kimia Ramah Lingkungan. 5. PHT Terhadap Hama Burung yaitu Pengendalian Fisik dan Mekanis dan Pengendalian Kimia Terbatas dan Pengendalian Kultural.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to see Efektivitas Microorganisms antagonists Trichoderma sp.Metabolic and Pseudomonas fluorescens against Rot Disease on Plant Cauliflower for 4 months,namely from March to June 2016 in the Village Paslaten District of Tomohon East and in theLaboratory of Microbiology and Plant Pathology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of SamRatulangi Manado. Research in the laboratory to observe microscopically cause soft rot cauliflowerplants.This research was conducted using the method of randomized block design with 3 treatments,treatment A control without application of microorganisms antagonistic, treatment B withapplication of microorganisms antagonistic Trichoderma sp. metabolic, and treatment C withapplication of microorganisms P. fluorencens. this treatment is repeated 10 times. With ratingsplants infected with the disease formula presentation. The variables measured were presenting thenumber of infected leaves and cauliflower infected.The results showed that of some microorganismused, the most effective at controlling soft rot disease on a cauliflower is Pseudomonas fluorencensobservation with the end result obtained was 30%, followed by Trichodermasp. metabolic 40%.Treatment antagonistic microorganisms is also seen to be effective in inhibiting disease infection onthe leaves of the plant before the formation of flowers.Kata kunci :Efektivitas, Cauliflower, Erwinia carotovora, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Trichodermasp. Abstract

ABSTRACT  The deciduous fall of coconut fruit is caused by Phytophthora palmivora fungus.  This study aims to determine the ability of Trichoderma spp. Inhibiting P. palmivora on PDA media in vitro.  Research method used experimentally, that is antagonism test with method of dual culture method. P. palmivora in isolation from coconut fruit showing symptoms of the disease. The results showed that the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma spp could suppress the growth and development of the P. palmivora fungus, the average percentage of inhibition of the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma spp. of the pathogenic fungi of P. palmivora in vitro on PDA media on the fifth day is (100%) for simultaneously inoculated antagonism test and (40,62%) for antagonism test wherein antagonistic inoculation 4 days after pathogen. On the seventh day, the average percentage of inhibition of the antagonistic fungus Trichoderma spp. of the pathogenic fungus P. palmivora is (100%) for both treatments of this antagonism test.  Key Words: Coconut Nut Fall, Phytophthora palmivora, Antagonist

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study aimed to find out the attacks of caterpillar pests on cabbage crop in the Village of Kakaskasen II, District of North Tomohon, Tomohon.  Research has been conducted on cabbage in the Village of Kakaskasen II, Tomohon.  The study lasted four months, which began in March 2015 until July 2015. The study was conducted by surveys using sampling methods of purporsive sampling.  Cabbage plants showing symptoms were observed.   Cabbage plants with symptoms counted as attacked by caterpillars, although no larvae found.  Data were observed in this study were (i) symptoms of attacks by caterpillar pest on the crop, (ii) the number of part of the plant showing symptoms and no symptoms, (iii) cabbage crop weight.  Parts of plants that were observed for the caterpillar attack were the leaf, the crop, the crop and leave, and the growing point.  The results showed that the percentage of attacks of caterpillar crop of C.  pavonana in Village of Kakaskasen II reached 48.83 percent.  The crop part showed the highest pecent of attack, which was 16.84 percent, followed by the crop and leave parts of 15.24 percent, and then the growing point parts by 13.61 percent, and the lowest was 3.14 percent was found on the leaf part.  The average weight of cabbage crop are attacked by pests caterpillar crop, C. pavonana lower (1.44 kg) compared to cabbage crop is not affected (3.34 kg ). Abstract

ABSTRACTLeaf rust caused by Puccinia allii is one of the many diseases that attack onagricultural crops (horticultural crops). The existence of this disease can causevarious plant organs to become damaged, especially in leaf organs which are thetarget of a pandemic from the spread of the leaf rust disease. One of themicroorganisms that can be used to suppress plant diseases is Trichoderma spp. Thepurpose of this study was to determine the ability of Trichoderma sp and the use ofpropineb fungicide in controlling rust fungus on leeks in Sinsingon Village, PassiTimur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency.This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Indonesian Center forFood Crops and Horticulture Research (BPTPH) and then continued in SinsingonVillage, Passi Timur District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency. Field research wasarranged in a Randomized Block Design with 4 treatments that were repeated 6 times.The treatments were: A. Control, B. Trichoderma was applied to leaves, C.Trichoderma was applied to soil, D. Propineb fungicide. What was observed was thepercentage of attacks. Observations were made before being given treatment,treatment is done once a week after the first observation. The results showed (1)Microorganisms antagonist Trichoderma sp. effective in controlling P. allii leaf rustdisease.Keywords: leaf rust disease, Trichoderma sp, fungicide, leeks, P.allii.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cultivation of horticultural crops such as ornamental chrysanthemums is a profitable business considering the excellent market potential for this plant. The main problem in chrysanthemum farming is the attack of white rust caused by a fungus (P. horiana). Trichoderma sp. is an antagonistic soil microorganism that naturally attacks pathogenic fungi and is beneficial for plants. This study aims to determine the use of Trichoderma sp against white rust that attacks chrysanthemum plants. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Based on the results of observations of symptoms of white rust disease (P. horiana) , the upper surface of the leaves is at first a yellow spot which gradually changes color to dark brown, then on the lower surface of the leaf there are pustules that are pink and gradually become dark brown. Over time it will turn white. The highest percentage of attacks was in treatment P4 (spraying) followed by P2 (watering), and P3 (watering and spraying). The conclusion that can be drawn is the use of Trichoderma sp. able to suppress white rust (P. horiana) on chrysanthemum with the best treatment in suppressing white rust (P. horiana) ie watering and spraying (P3) : 1.98% Observation data on the percentage of attacks after being tested with diversity analysis showed no significant difference between treatments. In accordance with the results of research that has been carried out, it is necessary for further research on the use of Trichoderma sp. against white rust (P. horiana) in other varieties of chrysanthemum.
