Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sebaran pohon aren unggul di Kota Kendari yangdapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pangan dan sumber benih unggul. Pengidentifikasian pohon arenunggul dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria tanaman aren plus. Pohon aren yang diidentifikasi adalah pohonpohonarenproduktif,baikyangmerupakantanamanbudidayaataupuntumbuhsecaraliar.Pohon-pohonaren produktif dilabel, kemudian datanya direkam dan dioverlaykan ke dalam peta Rupa Bumi Indonesia(RBI) Sulawesi Tenggara (Bakosultarnal) sehingga dihasilkan peta sebaran pohon aren produktif di KotaKendari. Hasil penelitian ini adalah teridentifikasi 12,67% pohon aren unggul di Kota Kendari, dengansebaran 52,63% di wilayah Kecamatan Puuwatu dan 47,37% di Kecamatan Abeli. Kata kunci: Bahan baku pangan, pohon aren, unggul, sumber benih.

Abstract

The study of this research was to mapp the risks of rice production in Labulu-Bulu Village, Parigi District, Muna Rigency. This research was conducted in November 2016 until Juny 2017. Act of sample in did with simple random sampling the number population 38 of farmers. Date analysis was used qualitative and quantitative descriptive. The results showed mapping of risk in rice production, namely (a) operational risk with high-risk level was using of fertilizers, using of pesticides and nominal income; moderate risk level was production quantity; and low-risk level was provide seeds, provide fertilizers, provide pesticides, rent tools and machinery and  growth of seeds; (b) Human resource risk with high-risk level was renting labor recruitment and providing planting labor; moderate-risk level was safety of labor in preparation and management of land, safety of labor in plants maintenance, provide of labor in harvest;  low-risk level was using of family labor, and safety of labor I plant growth;. (c) Technology risk with high-risk level was using of tools and machinery, damage tools and machinery in harvest and harvest method; moderate-risk level was planting methods and fertilizing methods; and low-risk level was opening land methods processing of land methods; (d) externality risk with high-risk level was disrupted in grain drying; moderate-risk level was weather in oppening and management of land and pests in post-harvest; and low-risk level was exposure to weather condition when maintenance, pests and desease on seedling.

Abstract

This research aimed was to know The performance of production between cocoa farmers of adopter Integrated Pest Management and non Integrated Pest Management, and The performance of income production between cocoa farmers of adopt Integrated Pest Management and non Integrated Pest Management in the Ataku village, AndooloSub District, South Konawe District. This research was conducted from January to April 2018. The number of cocoa farmers population was in this research to the initial survey was 115 people. The population was grouped into 2 kinds, namely the farmers who adopterIntegrated Pest Management 65 people and farmer of non Integrated Pest Management about 50 people. The number of the sample as determined using proportional stratified random sampling method. The number of samples was determined using Slovin formula, so total samples number were 53 peoples, consist 30 peoples of a cocoa farmer who adopt Integrated Pest Management and 23 peoples of a cocoa farmer who didn't adopt Integrated Pest Management. The result of the research showed that production performance was indicated by the average, production of cocoa farmers who adopt Integrated Pest Management was greater than a cocoa farmer who didn't adopt Integrated Pest Management. The results of the analysis indicated that there was different of production between the farmer who adopts Integrated Pest Management was greater than a cocoa farmer who did not adopt Integrated Pest Management. The revenue performance was indicated by the average income of cocoa farmer who adopts Integrated Pest Management was greater than a cocoa farmer who did not adopt Integrated Pest Management. The result of the analysis shows that there was different of income between the farmer who adopts Integrated Pest Management was greater than a cocoa farmer who did not adopt Integrated Pest Management.

Abstract

This research were aimed to (1) know the production of pepper production in Lalonggapu Village, Landono Sub-district of South Konawe Regency, (2) know the factors that influence the productivity of pepper farming in Lalonggapu Village, Landono Sub-district of South Konawe, (3) analyze level technical efficiency the use of production factors on pepper farming in Lalonggapu Village, Landono Sub-district, South Konawe Regency. The population in this study is all pepper farmers in Lalonggapu Village, LandonoSub-district, of South Konawe District. The sample in this study were 44 respondents who were determined by census method. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis, regression analysis with Cobb-Douglass production function equation and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). The results of this study indicate that the average of pepper production from 44 respondents in Lalonggapu Village, LandonoSub-district of South Konawe District is 509 kg/ha with the highest yield of 1100 kg/ha and the lowest production yield is 150 kg/ha. Production factors that affect productivity of pepper farming in LalonggapuVillage, LandonoSub-district of South Konawe District are land area, fertilizer and labor, while the production factors that do not have an effect on productivity of pepper farming in  LalonggapuVillage, LandonoSub-district of South Konawe Districtare seed, pesticide and pepper species. Measurement of technical efficiency shows that pepper farming in Lalonggapu Village, Landono Sub-district of South Konawe District has not been able to achieve the overall efficiency level of technical efficiency. This indicated that there are still opportunities for pepper farmers to increase their production by optimizing their production factors

Abstract

The study aims to determine the amount of income, income contribution to total household income, and how the difference in income contribution of housewife working in oil palm plantations and working as traders in traditional markets. The research location was done by purposive and sample housewife who work as oil palm plantation as many as 60 people and work as a trader in the traditional market as much as 37 people. Data analysis that was used in this study were income analysis, income contribution, and t-test analysis of difference(t-test). The results showed that the average income of housewife who works as laborers in oil palm plantation IDR 1.038.300, - / month and work in traditional market IDR 1.359.204, - / month. The income contribution of a housewife from working as oil palm plantation workers and those who work as traders in traditional markets was the same, about 30% of total household income. The difference in income contribution of housewife working on oil palm plantations and working in traditional markets to total household income was not different, statistically

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of the cultivation of durian plants in UD. Bayu Wira Tama in Ranomeeto Sub-district of South Konawe District. The study was conducted using case study method with business owner. UD.Bayu Wira Tama as the respondent. Data analysis used are R/C Ratio, capital productivity ( /C) Ratio, labor productivity, income, BEP Revenue, BEP Production, and BEP Price. The result of this research shows that the cultivation of durian plants. UD. Bayu Wira Tama in Ranomeeto Sub-district of South Konawe Regency is feasible to be operated with several indicators, namely R/C Ratio which shows the number of 7,35 > 1 (R/C Ratio >1), capital productivity ( C) Ratio of 6,15 % (( /C) Ratio > Current bank interest), labor productivity of Rp 201.149 (labor productivity > prevailing wage rate), income of Rp 30.000.000/ production period (income > land rent), BEP Rp 1.938.172 (acceptance > BEP acceptance), BEP production 96.9/tree (production > BEP production), and the price received by the nursery owner is bigger than BEP price ie Rp 20.000 > Rp 2.038 (Price > BEP Price)

Abstract

This research aims were to determine income of aren tappers in the research location. This research was conducted on September 2016 until May 2017 in Wali Village of Watopute Sub District and Wansugi Village of Kabangka Sub District at Muna District.Determination of the location in this study was conducted purposively of deliberately with the consideration that the two villages are the aren sap producing are with the different utilization of aren sap. The population in this research was the whole of aren sap tappers in Wali Village of Watopute Sub District at Muna District which the total numbers of 112 people and the processor of aren sugar in Wansugi Village at Kabangka Sub District which 11 people. Sampling technique in the Wali Village was done by the Simple Random Sampling technique with the sampling as much as 25 percent that were 28 people from population number. Sampling technique in the  Wansugi Village was done by the census sampling technique so that the number of samples was equal to the number of population that was 11 people. The result of the research showed that income of kameko processor higher than aren sugar processor

Abstract

This research was conducted in the Bungin Permai Village of Tinanggea Sub-district of Konawe Selatan District. The aims of this research were: (1) to know the behavior of farmers toward the risk of farming, and (2) to know the socio-economic factors that affect the behavior of farmers toward the risk of farming seaweed. Sample farmer determined using simple random sampling methods. The number of samples in this research as much as 37 seaweed farmers. Analytical techniques used in this research is twofold, namely the utility function kuadratik to analyze the behavior of farmers against risks, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyse the socio-economic factors that affect the behavior of farmers toward the risk. The results of the analysis show that the behavior of farmers towards risks are risk averse 86.48% of farmers, risk lovers 5.41% of farmers, and risk neutral 8.11% of farmers. The experience of farming and extensive construction will increase the reluctance of farmers toward the risk, while the acceptance will increase farmers courage toward the risk of farming

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of prices and benefits of patchouli farming in Benua District, South Konawe Regency. Determination of samples using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance limit of 5% so that a sample of 60 farmer respondents was obtained. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and profit analysis. The results showed that the difference in selling prices of dried patchouli in Benua District, South Konawe Regency was due to the different buyers and quality of patchouli. Patchouli quality is influenced by farmers' management abilities and different harvesting frequencies. While the level of profits obtained by patchouli farmers in Benua Subdistrict, Konawe Selatan Regency are mostly in the low category (90.00%) and only 6.67% in the high category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of production factors on the production of paddy rice in the Unaasi Sub-District of Anggaberi Sub-District, Konawe Regency. The population in this study were 220 lowland rice farmers. The sample in this study amounted to 69 respondents who were determined by the simple random sampling method. The analytical method used is regression analysis with the Cobb-Douglass production function equation. The results of this study indicate that the average yield of wetland rice from 69 respondents in the Unaasi Village of Anggaberi Subdistrict, Konawe Regency was 301 kg/ha with the highest yield of 500 kg/ha and the lowest yield of 100 kg/ha. The factors of production (land area, seeds, and fertilizer score) affect the production of wetland rice in the Unaasi Subdistrict, Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency. While the production factors (spontaneous pesticides, labor, and mutual cooperation) did not affect the production of paddy rice farming in the Unaasi Sub-District of Anggaberi District, Konawe Regency. This indicates that there are still opportunities for lowland rice farmers to increase their production output by optimizing the factors of production they have.
