Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the effect of biocontrol agents rizobakteri candidate against seed-borne pathogens colony growth in vitro of red chili and rizobakteri effect on seed germination of two varieties of chili. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Seed Science and Technology Studies Program Faculty of Agriculture, University of Syiah Kuala. Research conducted two phases. (I) Using a completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial are 16 types rizobakteri (A. suis, Actinobacter sp, Azotobacter sp, Azotobacter sp, sp Necercia, P. capacia, B. megaterium, P. dimuta, B. bodius, B . laterophorus, B. larvae, B. alvae, Flavobacterium sp, B. coagulans, B. firmus, B. polymixa, B. lichiniformis, B. stearothermophilius) tested against pathogens (P. capsici, C. capsici, F. oxysporum , Phytium, pR. solani and S. rolfsii) by measuring the distance between the edge of the colony of pathogens and rizobakteri. (II) Using a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial design. Factors studied varieties of pepper plants (PM 999, Arena) and the type isolates rizobakteri (A. suis, Azotobacter sp, P. capacia, B. stearothermophilius, B. bodius). The benchmarks were observed maximum growth potential, percentage of germination, index of vigor, relative growth rate, simultaneity grow, and required time to reach 50% total of relative germination (T50). The test results (i) there is an effective biocontrol agent inhibits 6 types of pathogens that isolates B. bodius. Test results (II) seed treatment with rizobakteri able to improve the viability and vigor in comparison with no treatment.

Abstract

"> Peneitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Meningkatkan aktivitas belajar Geografisiswa kelas X-H SMAN 2 Tomia dengan penerapan model pembelajaran ContextualTeaching and Learning (CTL) Materi pokok Perubahan Litosfer dan DampaknyaTerhadap Kehidupan; 2) Meningkatkan aktivitas mengajar guru di kelas X-H SMAN 2Tomia dengan penerapan model Pembelajaran contextual teaching and learning (CTL)Materi pokok Perubahan Litosfer dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kahidupan; 3) .Meningkatkan hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X-H SMAN 2 Tomia denganpenerapan model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Materi pokokPerubahan Litosfer dan Dampaknya Terhadap Kehidupan. Dari hasil analisis datadisimpulkan bahwa: 1) Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I ke siklus IIyang dilihat dari skor rata-rata pada siklus I yaitu 2,6 kategori cukup, meningkat padasiklus II menjadi 3,1 kategori baik; 2) Aktivitas guru meningkat, dari skor rata-rata padasiklus I sebesar 2,7 kategori cukup, meningkat pada siklus II Menjadi 3,4 kategori baik;3) Hasil belajar Geografi siswa kelas X-H SMA Negeri 2 Tomia mengalamipeningkatan, dimana pada siklus I persentase siswa yang tuntas 48% atau 12 orang dari25 siswa mencapai nilai KKM yang ditentukan sekolah yaitu ≥ 70 dan pada siklus IImeningkat menjadi 84% atau 21 orang.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning, Siswa, Guru,Hasil Belajar

Abstract

The objectives of the research was to find out significant influence of using Read, Ask and Paraphrase(RAP) strategy to students’ reading comprehension at the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri Labuang. The method of the research was quantitative method and the type of the research was pre-experimental research with one group pretest-treatment-posttest design. The total number of population was 6 classes and the total number of sample was 1 class consist of 26 students. The instrument of the research was as reading. The result of the data analysis show that the mean score in pretest (53,84) with standar deviation (14,01) is lower than the mean score in posttest (65) with standar deviation (12,08) and from the hypothesis, it is found that t-test value (2,79) is greater than t-table value (1.708). It is that null hypothesis (HO) is rejected and alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. It is included that using Read, Ask and Paraphrase (RAP) strategy in Reading Comprehension at the Eleventh Grade Students of SMK Negeri Labuang is effective to increase reading comprehension.
