Abstract

Learning management system, as part of higher education governance, is the process of organizing, planning and supervising the implementation of curriculum in order to achieve the learning objective (LO). PP No. 19 in 2005 and No. 32 in 2013 set the standard for higher education governance quality assurance systems where Internal Quality Assurance System is required for higher education institutions that aim to achieve continuous improvement. The main problem in implementing internal quality assurance is that to achieve continouus improvement we need an effective supervision that not only can provide data on the results of implementation bmore importantly is the data to the process itself. Generally universities has implemented a system of governance and supervision that rely on the outcome of the process but not how the process done. Meanwhile, in order to achieve continuous improvement required a monitoring and evaluation system that does not rely solely on the output but also data from process. This research aims to develop a system of governance with data and information services to the passage of the academic process, especially at the University of Atma Jaya Makassar. This study uses an objectoriented approach with UML design method by utilizing the computer network architecture for wireless and mobile technology as key technology. This research produced a system with the ability to monitor the passage of the lecturing process in realtime in order to improve monitoring, evaluation and quality processes in a structured lectures and concurrent transparent, accountable and responsive Keywords: Learning Management System, mobile architecture, continuous improvement.

Abstract

With the issuance of PP No. 19 In 2005, Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) has become an necessity for an higher education institution that aims to achieve continuous improvement. Most colleges including Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar has implemented a model of management and control system for academic process by relying on the outcome of process, not the concurrent of the process itself. In order to achieve continuous improvement, the quality assurance system needs a control system that not only rely on the outcome but more important is the implementation the process itself. This research aims to develop a prototype model of management and control system of academic process that focuses on the monitoring and evaluating function of the academic process, especially the academic process which runs at theUniversity of Atma Jaya Makassar. This research uses UML methodology based on objectoriented approach to take advantage on computer networks as the supporting technology. The prototype model of the resulting system will help facilitate the implementation and quality assurance of academic process through increased control and evaluation function in a structured academic process and in real timeKeywords: supervision, governance, higher education, prototype, model, system

Abstract

Image completion, inpainting or hole-filling, is the process to fill or replace an area of image with another image so the replacement can not be detected. The replacement area is the area from the image that is similar than image that has the removing area. The feature of color image that can be used is statistic feature, such as mean, median, and standard deviation. Templatematching is used to find the area from the similar image. Then, image blending, like Poisson Blending, is used to equalize gradient of the area from the similar image. The image dataset is obtained from LabelMe and the resolution of images is 256x256. The number of training image is 10 images and 3 images as testing images or query images. The accuracy to produce the scenecompletion is 66.67%.Keywords: scene completion, statistic feature, template matching, image blending

Abstract

Student’s assignment is one of component in the course assessment. The problem that can be found is a student copied the work of another student or can be called plagiarism. There are several ways to detect plagiarism based on similarity text, such as n-gram technique. In this research, Sorensen-Dice Coefficient is used to get the percentage of similarity text between the documents of student’s assignment and detection of plagiarism limited to text documents. N values that used in this research are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and obtained best N value is 7 based on the average of difference relevance

Abstract

Adaptive fuzzy evolutionary algorithm control genetic parameters based on population diversity to avoid premature convergence. However, population diversity isn’t guaranteed achieving optimum global solution. This research aims to model adaptive fuzzy with fitness goals and analyze influence of genetic parameters, fuzzy, crossover and mutation technique towards case study DM food menu determination that has fitness goal as calorie needs. This research results show that adaptive fuzzy with fitness goals is able to produce solution that has fitness with good degree of accuracy. Crossover relies on fuzzy and mutation while fuzzy adaptive, chromosome mutation and larger population can produce better fitness.Keywords: Adaptive fuzzy genetic algorithm, Diabetes mellitus, Food menu, Fuzzy evolutionary, Xu model

Abstract

The information has become one of the most important parts for an institution today, including Universitas Atma Jaya Makassar. One of the information is academic, so it needs fast processing to get that information. The problems that arise are difference of language between the user who need information and database language which storage data of academic. So we need an interpreter to bridge the difference of language. In this research, the writer uses Natural Language Processing as the solution from that problem and use Parser Noise-Disposal. The application is designed by PHP as programming language and MySQL as database.

Abstract

In the city of Makassar, flooding is one of natural disasters that has a high probability of occurring and has very large impact. Floods occur due to several factors such as increased rainfall and rising sea levels. Flooding in the city of Makassar is an annual natural disaster that has huge impact for people who live around the river. The purpose of this study is to predict and provide early warning of floods before the flood occurs using water flow and KNN algorthm. The result of this research is an early detection system and a simulation to predict flood that has 60% accuracy.

Abstract

Abstract  —  The world is still worried about the COVID-19 virus pandemic until now. This virus has caused various problems in the world, such as the economy, the world of education, and several other sectors. The government has tried to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our country Indonesia. The obstacle faced by the government is the large number of people so that the control process becomes difficult to implement in full. The technology that can be utilized is to collaborate with computer vision, LBS, and body temperature sensors placed on smart cameras. Smart camera will identify and track people who are still active despite the symptoms of COVID-19. In this research, a prototype design was conducted which collaborated with computer vision, LBS, and body temperature sensors placed on the smart camera. The prototype will then be analyzed regarding the feasibility and impact that can be caused by the implementation of the prototype in the community. The prototype is expected to be used by the government to monitor community activities quickly so that the spread of COVID-19 can be controlled properly. Abstrak  —  Dunia masih dikhawatirkan dengan pandemik virus COVID-19 hingga saat ini. Virus ini telah menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan di dunia, seperti perekonomian, dunia pendidikan, dan beberapa sektor lainnya. Pemerintah telah berupaya untuk mengendalikan penyebaran virus COVID-19 di negara kita Indonesia. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh pemerintah adalah jumlah masyarakat yang banyak sehingga proses pengendalian menjadi sulit untuk dilaksanakan secara penuh. Teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah dengan mengkolaborasikan computer vision, LBS, dan sensor suhu tubuh yang ditempatkan pada smart camera. Smart camera akan mengidentifikasi serta melacak masyarakat yang tetap beraktivitas meski memiliki gejala COVID-19. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan prototype yang mengkolaborasikan computer vision, LBS, serta sensor suhu tubuh yang diletakkan pada smart camera. Prototype tersebut kemudian akan dianalisis terkait kelayakan serta dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan terkait implementansi prototype di masyarakat. Prototype ini diharapkan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pemerintah untuk mengawasi aktivitas masyarakat secara cepat sehingga penyebaran COVID-19 dapat dikendalikan dengan baik.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pertumbuhan kota yang secara di dunia melebihi 50%, persoalan kota menjadi lebih rumit dan kompleks, salah satunya adalah kemacetan yang dapat disebabkan oleh banjir serta pertumbuhan kendaraan yang melebihi luas jalanan. Hal ini juga terjadi di Kota Makassar sebagai ibu kota provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Saat ini sering terjadi kemacetan lalu lintas di beberapa ruas jalan di Kota Makassar, terutama pada saat peak hours. Data terakhir Juni 2017 menunjukkan jumlah kendaraan di kota Makassar adalah sebanyak 1.425.635 dimana terjadi kenaikan lebih dari 100% dibandingkan tahun 2007. Pada penelitian ini akan dirancang sebuah aplikasi real time route selection dengan memanfaatkan Wireless Sensor Network sebagai penyedia data traffic condition pada ruas jalan. Algoritma pencarian rute terpendek yang digunakan adalah algoritma Dijkstra serta algoritma Floyd-Warshall yang dikombinasikan dengan fungsi skalar Chebycheff. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rute yang dihasilkan oleh kedua algoritma sama tetapi algoritma Dijkstra memiliki waktu pemrosesan lebih cepat dengan rerata 7,45 ms. Kelemahan fungsi skalar Chebycheff adalah proses update jarak antar node yang dinamis bergantung pada perubahan kondisi lalu lintas. Hal ini dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan penggunaan metode inferensi lain untuk kriteria kondisi lalu lintas, seperti fuzzy logic maupun metode Multi Criteria Decision Making.
