Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini berupaya menangkap tawaran komplementer hadis Nabi yang berbunyi, “idhā wussida al-amr ilā ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-sā‘ah” (jika urusan dikuasakan kepada bukan-ahlinya maka tunggulah hari kiamat) untuk salah satu gagasan manajemen sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang sudah tidak asing lagi, yaitu “the right man on the right job” (orang yang tepat ditempatkan pada pekerjaan yang tepat), khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Sekilas, kedua ungkapan tersebut tampak sama, namun jika ditelaah lebih mendalam sebenarnya yang pertama bisa melengkapi dan menyempurnakan yang kedua. Walaupun hadis tersebut disampaikan sekitar 14 abad yang lalu, namun sikap apatis terhadap gagasan manajerial yang terkandung di dalamnya sebaiknya dikesampingkan dahulu, mengingat Rasulullah, sang penutur hadis, adalah seorang “manajer” bahkan leader di berbagai bidang, termasuk “pendidikan”. Dengan terlebih dahulu memastikan otentisitas dan validitas hadis Nabi tersebut—dengan mengaplikasikan teori-teori penelitian hadis konvensional, di sini akan diungkap sisi komplementer hadis “idhā wussida al-amr ilā ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-sā‘ah” untuk gagasan “the right man on the right job”. Asal hadis Nabi tidak dipandang secara kaku dan tekstual, tawaran komplementernya terhadap konsep-konsep dan gagasan-gagasan manajerial sebenarnya tidak patut dikesampingkan, apalagi dilupakan.Abstract: This article attempts to capture a complementary offer of Prophetic hadīth, which says, “idhā wussida al-amr ila ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-sā‘ah” (if cases given to the non-experts then wait for the doomsday) for one of the human resource management idea, which is already familiar, namely “the right man on the right job,” especially in the context of Islamic education. At first glance, those two words seem have the same mean, but when examined more deeply the first one can complement and enhance the latter. Although the hadīth is delivered about 14 centuries ago, but apathy toward the managerial ideas contained in it should be ruled out, because the Prophet Muhammad—narrator of the hadīth—is a “manager” and even a leader in many fields, including the “education.” Firstly, verifying the authenticity and validity of the hadīth  must be conducted. By applying the theories of conventional research of hadīth, the complementary side of the hadīth that says, “idhā wussida ila al-amr ghayri ahli-hi fa-intazir al-sā‘ah,” for the idea that says, “the right man on the right job,” will be revealed here. As long as the Prophet’s hadīth is not viewed as rigid and textual, complementary offer to the concepts and ideas of managerial actually not be dismissed and forgotten.

Abstract

The study deals with the discussion about the validity of hadîth about “the most despised matter by God is divorce” and its invalidity as well as the implication of each status of sahîh and da‘îf which rests in the hadîth towards the concept of lawfulness and detestation of divorce. For certain group of people this hadîth might seem wise, since it would be able to significantly decrease the number of divorce or to be a sort of “an ultimate weapon” for judge or parents to give advice for spouse who experience domestic rift. However, for other people the hadîth seems inconsistent. They argue that it is impossible for God to hate a lawful matter. Therefore, the hadîth is unique, since it is validated by a number of prominent Muslim scholars on one hand. On the other, there are also a number of noticeable Muslim scholars who believe the hadîth as da‘îf. Each group, however, build their argument on a common ground, i.e. conventional science of the critique of hadîth.

Abstract

Abstrak: Salah satu peran yang dituntut untuk dimainkan oleh guru sebagai pendidik di sekolah adalah peran orang tua, mengingat guru memang adalah orang tua kedua di sekolah. Setidaknya karena itulah dalam sistem pendidikan modern terdapat unsur kompetensi afektif yang harus ada pada diri guru profesional. Guru tidak hanya sekadar mentransfer pengetahuan dari dirinya kepada para peserta didik kemudian bersikap ‘lepas tangan.’ Ini tentu jauh dari idealisme guru profesional. Jauh-jauh hari Rasulullah dalam satu hadis yang berbunyi “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” telah memberi teladan baik (uswah hasanah) tentang bagaimana guru harus berperan sebagai orang tua dalam setiap proses pendidikan dan pengajaran. Dengan metode deskriptif-analitis serta pendekatan ilmu hadis dan ilmu pendidikan, di sini penulis bermaksud menelusuri otentisitas dan validitas hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah,” mengekspos pemahaman hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” sebagaimana terdokumentasikan dalam literatur-literatur syarah hadis, dan mengidentifikasi relevansi antara hadis “aku bagi kalian laksana ayah” dan sistem pendidikan modern. Selanjutnya penulis akan membuktikan bahwa peran guru sebagai orang tua kedua peserta didik di sekolah mempunyai dasar yang otentik dan valid sekaligus spesifik dalam hadis Nabi.Abstract: One of the roles needed to be played by teachers as educators at schools is the role of parents, because indeed teachers are the parents of students at schools. At least that’s why there is an element of affective competencies that must exist in the professional teachers. Teachers don’t just transfer knowledge to students and then leave them alone. It’s certainly far from the ideals of professional teachers. In the 7th century the Prophet in a hadīth that says “I’m for you like a father” gave a good example (uswah hasanah) about how teachers should act as parents in every process of education and teaching. Using the descriptive-analytic method and the science of h}adīth and science of education approach, the Author intends to explore the authenticity and validity of the h}adīth “I’am to you like a father,” exposing understanding of the tradition of “I’m to you like a father,” as documented in the literature of sharh hadīth, and identify the relevance between the h}adīth “I’am to you like a father” and the modern education system. Furthermore, the Authors will prove that the teachers role as second parents at school has an authentic, valid and specific base in the hadīth of the Prophet.

Abstract

Artikel ini bermaksud mengekspos hadis-hadis bias gender seputar gagasan suami kontra pendapat istri, lalu mendudukkannya sebagaimana mestinya. Salah satu unsur utama yang harus ada dalam kehidupan rumah tangga keluarga muslim adalah unsur musyawarah yang bersifat demokratis antara suami istri. Namun, eksistensi hadis-hadis bermasalah seputar gagasan suami kontra pendapat istri, baik yang termanifestasikan dalam realitas kehidupan nyata maupun yang masih berbentuk ide-ide dalam referensi-referensi utama kajian Islam, menjadi salah satu aral dan rintangan tersendiri yang harus dikaji ulang baik sanad maupun maknanya dan didekontruksi pemaknaannya. Oleh karena itu, di sini akan diekspos “masalah-masalah” yang ada pada hadis-hadis bermasalah itu, baik dari segi sanad maupun matannya, lalu dikonfrontasikan dan dikomparasikan dengan kandungan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dan hadis-hadis sahih, serta dianalisis dengan pendekatan sejarah dalam bingkai sosio-kultural, untuk diketahui progresivitas dan keegaliteran ajaran Islam dalam kaitannya dengan konsep keluarga Islami.

Abstract

This study was aimed to describe the efectivity of science integrated learning with immersed model to increase student responses in PGMI. Students of 4th semester majoring in PGMI Unipdu Jombang, were subjected with the tested learning method. The study was conducted in February-June 2018 with experimental method. Students’ performance was assesed through cognitive tests, observation, and interviews. Results of this study indicate that science integrated learning with immersed model to improve students responses. Student responses to science integrated learning with immersed model is positive.

Abstract

Public accountants are independent auditors who provide services to public, especially in the field of audit of financial statements made by the client. Public accountant’s task is to examine and provide an opinion on the fairness of financial statements of an entity based on the standards set by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). Afflicting many companies which in turn involve public accountants, financial cases make the accountants to consider their audit quality. Some factors have a very important role in determining the audit quality, including the auditor independence and experience. Therefore, the issues examined in this study are: (1) Do the auditor’s independence and experience simultaneously have an influence on the quality of the audit? (2) Do the auditor’s independence and experience have a partial effecton audit quality? From that background, this research aims to (1) determine the simultaneous effect of auditor’s independence and experience on the quality of audit, (2) determine the partial effect of auditor’s independence and experience on the quality of audit. This research employs a survey method with questionnaires. The population of this research consists of auditors who work in Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Malang. Data analysis is performed with validity and reliability test, and classical assumption test whereas hypothesis test with multiple linear regression method. The researcher uses and obtains the primary data by distributing questionnaires to 33 respondents. The result concludes that independence has a partial effect on the quality audit with significant level of 2,049. Simultaneously, the independence and the experience of the auditors affect the audit qualitywith significant level of 8,645. Therefore, both the auditor and the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) are expected to improve their audit quality.

Abstract

This article deals with the contextual understanding of Syuhudi Ismail to the ḥadîth. Syuhudi is one of the inspired Indonesian Muslim scholars who has high attention to the study of h}adîth. His work entitled Hadis Nabi yang Tekstual dan Kontekstual: Telaah Ma’anil Hadis tentang Ajaran Islam yang Universal, Temporal dan Lokal, has been considered as one of the most valuable contributions in promoting the dynamic, progressive and universal understanding of Islam. By applying descriptive-comparative analysis and contextual approach, this article finds that Syuhudi’s contributions in formulating the concept and practice of contextual understanding of the ḥadîth are quite different from other Muslim scholars. This is due to the basic assumption of Syuhudi’s understanding that the prophet has several roles at the mean time, the necessity of applying universal value of Islam, and the actual change of the society. This, in turn, brings Syuhudi’s contextual understanding into the idea of differentiated meanings of the ḥadîth which are universal, local and temporal.

Abstract

Berbicara mengenai etika dalam pendidikan, tidak akan terlepas dari pendidik dan peserta didik. Seperti halnya KH. Hasyim Asy?ari menyampaikan bahwa etika keduanya memengaruhi terhadap hasil pendidikan. Berkaitan tentang pendidikan di Indonesia, pelaksanaannya diatur dalam undang-undang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan etika pendidik dan peserta didik menurut KH. Hasyim Asy?ari dalam kitab ?d?b al-??lim wa al-muta?allim, praktik etika keduanya di lapangan dan menganalisis relevansi etika keduanya dengan UU RI Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 dan PP RI Nomor 17 Tahun 2010. Jenis penelitian berupa kepustakaan dan lapangan. Kepustakaan sebagai dasar dengan literasi (dokumentasi) utama berupa kitab ?d?b al-??lim wa al-muta?allim dan lapangan sebagai penunjang dengan observasi di MA al-Anwar Paculgowang Diwek Jombang. Metode analisis data dengan analisis isi dan induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etika pendidik dan peserta didik menurut Kiai Hasyim dalam kitab ?d?b al-??lim wa al-muta?allim dapat dikelompokkan menjadi 4 bagian, yaitu etika personal, etika dalam belajar, etika antara keduanya, dan etika keduanya terhadap buku. Hasil observasi praktik etika keduanya di MA al-Anwar menunjukkan bahwa keduanya melaksanakan etika dengan baik. Terdapat relevansi pemikiran Kiai Hasyim tentang etika pendidik dengan UU RI Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 dan etika peserta didik dengan PP RI Nomor 17 Tahun 2010.
