Abstract

This research tilte is "Development of Science Skills of Grade V Student on Material Friction Through Contextual Learning". Result of research with significance level a = 0,05 shows first, there is improvement of process skill of student loe group after using contextual approach. Secondly, there is an increase in the science process skill of the group students using contextual approach. Third, there is an increase in the science process skills of high group students after applied contextual approach. Fourthly, there is an enhancement of superior group science process skills using a contextual approach. Fourthly, there is a difference in the improvement of science process skills in the students of the low group, medium group, and high groups as evidenced by the difference test results of the average gain of the three groups with Asymp values. Sig. 0,000. Fifth.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas V A SDN Tolengas mengalamikesulitan dalam menentukan ide pokok/ pokok masalah pada tiap paragraf dan membuatsimpulan isi cerita anak. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menentukan tindakan untuk menyelesaikanpermasalahan tersebut dengan menerapkan metode SQ3R dan permainan Stabilo Kalimat.Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam tiga siklus dengan hasil penelitian kinerja guru (perencanaan)siklus I mencapai persentase 95,55%, siklus II 97,77%, dan siklus III 100%. Kinerja guru(pelaksanaan) pada siklus I mencapai 78,94%, siklus II menjadi 85,96% dan pada siklus IIImencapai 100%. Aktivitas siswa yang mencapai interpretasi sangat baik yaitu pada siklus Ienam siswa (28,57%), siklus II 14 siswa (63,63%), dan siklus III 21 siswa (91,3%). Sedangkanhasil belajar siswa yang mencapai KKM pada data awal yaitu empat siswa (17,39%). Setelahdilakukan tindakan mengalami peningkatan menjadi sembilan siswa (42,58%) pada siklus I,siklus II 14 siswa (63,64%), dan siklus III menjadi 21 siswa (91,3%). Dengan demikian, dapatdisimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode SQ3R dan permainan Stabilo Kalimat dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan membaca dalam menyimpulkan isi cerita anak di kelas V A SDNTolengas.

Abstract

Pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat mengembangkan keaktifan siswa yaitu pendekatan eksploratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif. Perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis antara siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif dan pembelajaran konvensional, peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif, perbedaan peningkatan kepercayaan diri antara siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif dan pembelajaran konvensional, serta faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen desain kelompok kontrol pretest-posttest. Instrumennya yaitu tes kemampuan representasi matematis dan skala sikap kepercayaan diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksploratif dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa, peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa dengan pendekatan eksploratif lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional, pendekatan eksploratif dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa, peningkatan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan pendekatan eksploratif lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil data awal pembelajaran menulis pengumuman di kelas IV SDN Rancamulyadiperoleh 39,39% dari 32 siswa yang tuntas dalam pembelajaran. Atas dasar permasalahan tersebut diterapkan model pembelajaran genre based writing dengan permainan scramble. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, serta peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PTK dengan mengacu pada desain penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan pada siklus I perencanaan kinerja mencapai 85,71%, pelaksanaan kinerja mencapai 80%, aktivitas siswa yang mencapai minimal kriteria B sebanyak 50%, hasil keterampilan menulis pengumuman siswa mencapai 59,37%. Pada siklus II perencanaan kinerja mencapai 97,61%, pelaksanaan kinerja mencapai 93,33%, aktivitas siswa yang mencapai minimal kriteria B sebanyak 78%, hasil keterampilan menulis pengumuman siswa mencapai 75%. Pada siklus III perencanaan kinerja mencapai 100%, pelaksanaan kinerja mencapai 100%, aktivitas siswa yang mencapai minimal kriteria B sebanyak 88%, hasil keterampilan menulis pengumuman siswa mencapai 87,5%.

Abstract

Based on observation taken on learning natural science subject of  sound energy in class IV SDN Sindang II the outcome of  learning of most student does not exceed Minimum Accomplishment Criteria. Due to the problem, this research is conducted by applying discovery learning model on science subject of sound energy. The objective of the research is to determine development of learning planning, performance of teacher, student activity, and outcome of student learn. The research uses class action research method that applying spiral model of Kemmis and Taggart that consists of the stage of planning, actuating, observation and reflection. This research shows on every phase planning of learning, teacher performance, student activity and student learning outcome was increased. Therefore, that application of Discovery Learning Model on learning of sound energy subject enhance outcome of student learn.

Abstract

The ability of mathematical understanding among elementary school students is still low one of them on geometry material some students still find it difficult. As an alternative to improve the ability of mathematical understanding of RME approach. The RME approach is a learning that uses concrete objects toward abstract concepts, or learning can use shadows. The research method used experiments with pretest and postest group design. The population in the study were elementary school students in Rancakalong sub-district with the sample of SDN Pasirbenteng II as the experimental class and SDN Pasirbiru as the control class. The results of the research that the RME approach can improve the ability of mathematical understanding, the enhancement of the mathematical ability of conventional learning can be categorized similarly with RME learning, through RME approach the students give positive responses to the learning of mathematics, and the supporting factors are group learning and media help students understand the concept while the factors The inhibitor is not yet used to learning with RME and less management of the class.

Abstract

According to the research at fifth grade students in SDN Merapi for Social subject about Time Zone Divining in Indonesia that hasn’t run maximum. The researcher tired to solve the problem by using Class Act Research with inquiry methode. The method plan can fixing the students learning process and the result. Based on the results that have been obtained from the implementation of action found fact that is for learning planning activities and implementation activity of teacher performance in 3rd cycle is 100%. Student activitiy and result learning also have been improved. The student activity at 3rd cycle is 97,7%, the result obtained exceeded the expected target of 88%. The result learning has been increased in 3rd cycle is 97,5%. The result has reached the target is 86%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of inquiry methodes can improve students’ result learning.

Abstract

Based on the observation of social studies learning on the material relics and figures of Hindu-Buddhist and Islamic kingdoms in Indonesia in V grade of SDN Cisambeng 1 Palasah Majalengka. Learning only focuses on the delivery of teachers, only some students who demonstrate the learning model so that the others just look at it. Efforts to solve these problems by applying cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type. Using Classroom Action Research Method with Kemmis and Taggart research design consisting of 4 stages namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Using teacher performance observation sheet instruments, student activity observation sheets, field notes, test of learning outcomes and interview guidelines. The research completed by 3 Cycles, with the final result of planning stage of 100%, 100% implementation stage, 90.99% student activity and 87.30% learning outcomes, conclusion that cooperative model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type can increase Student learning outcomes on material relics and figures of Hindu-Buddhist and Islamic kingdoms in Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesian students have low science literacy skills. It is known from PISA results that Indonesian students’ average score is lower than international average score. The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of contextual teaching and learning on students’ science aspects. The method used is pre-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study is the fifth grade students of SDN Situraja in 2016/2017 academic year, which amounted to 63 students. The instrument used is science literacy test type description that refers to science literacy aspect. The results showed a significant increase in science literacy skills after applied contextual teaching and learning. But, there was no significant difference between male and female students. However, there are differences in basic intelligence and social factors between male and female students.
