Abstract

ABSTRACTA green house experiment were conducted to study the application of “compost plus” on the growth of Orthosiphon aristatus. The experiment was designed in Complete Randomized Design with factorial and five replicates. The first factors were fertilizer application (compost plus, compost, and control). The second factors were 3 kinds of soil (i.e. soil from Cibinong, Ciomas, and Sukabumi). The result showed that compost plus application increased 113.90 gram/pot of dry weight of Orthosispon aristatus leaves compared with compost application and control in 3 kinds of soil.Key words : Compost plus (compost + microbes), Orthosispon aristatus

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linier SMA Negeri 10  Palembang kelas XI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 8 kelas MIA dan 6 kelas IIS. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 25% dari seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang  dipilih dengan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling purposive,  adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI MIA 4 yang berjumlah 40 siswa, XI MIA 5 yang berjumlah 41 siswa, dan XI MIA 6 yang berjumlah 41 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti mengambil hasil ulangan harian siswa kepada guru mata pelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan diperoleh rata-rata  kemampuan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linier yaitu sebesar 45,4%. Jadi kemampuan pemahaman siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita program linier  kelas XI terhadap 3 jenis kemampuan pemahaman (konsep, prinsip, operasi) dapat dikategorikan cukup.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Siswa, Soal Cerita, Model Matematika, Program Linier

Abstract

Background: Hypertension or increased blood pressure is often referred as the silent killer because it usually does not show significant signs and symptoms. Thus, almost all patients do not realize if they suffer from hypertension. The Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) 2007 reported that the prevalence of hypertension in the population aged over 18 years old in Indonesia was 31.7%. Because of the increasing prevalence of hypertension in adolescence, it is necessary to take precautions. This study aimed to examine the relationship between demographic factors and body mass index with the prevention of hyper­tension in adolescentsSubjects and Method: This was a cross sec­tional study conducted at Muhammadiyah 1 Senior high school, Yogyakarta, from May 2017 to February 2018. A sample of 80 students was selected for this study. The dependent variables were prevention behavior. The independent variables were age, sex, body mass index (BMI), and residence. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by Chi square.Results: 48 (60%) students had good hyper­tension prevention behavior. Female (OR= 3.00; p= 0.030), urban residence (OR= 2.78; p= 0.040), and normal body weight (OR= 4.30; p= 0.001) increased behavior of hypertension prevention, and they were statistically signi­ficant. Older age (OR= 1.59; p= 0.220) incre­ased behavior of hypertension preven­tion, but it was statistically non-significant.Conclusion: Female, urban residence, normal body weight, and older age increase behavior of hypertension prevention.Keywords: hypertension prevention behavior, demographic factorsCorrespondence: Ratna Indriawati. Abstract

Coal and Mineral mining activities have a high risk of ecosystem changesthat affect the environment, let alone the mining is carried out openly. In order torestore the condition of the land in such a way that it can function and to be effectivein line with its allocation, the ex-mining area must be restored. Reclamation andpost-mining activities shall be conducted by every holder of Mining Business Permit(IUP) Exploration and IUP Production. Holders of IUP Exploration must firstlyprepare reclamation and post-mining plans in the permit process. The implementationof reclamation and post-mining activities by holders of IUP Production Operationand Special Mining Business Permit (IUPK) Production Operation must complywith the principles of : (1)protection and management of mining environment; (2)working safety and health; and (3) mineral and coal conservation. To determinethe success of the land that has been reclaimed and the post-mining activities havebeen complied, if an evaluation has been made by the competent officials and it isstated that the reclamation and post-mining activitie shave been performed well inaccordance with prevailing regulations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan metakognitif terhadap  hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan posstest only control group. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 33 Palembang Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak delapan kelas yang berjumlah 268 siswa yang diambil dari kelas VIII.1 sampai VIII.8. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel adalah teknik random sampling, dimana sampel yang diambil tidak berdasarkan peringkat melainkan dengan cara pengundian. Dengan jumlah 60 siswa yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.3. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan harga dan  ini berarti  berada dalam daerah penolakan H0, yang artinya Ha diterima sehingga hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendekatan metakognitif terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita di SMP Negeri 33 Palembang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palembang tahun ajaran 2015/2016 dengan sampel kelas VIII2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII6  sebagai kelas kontrol. Dari perhitungan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) diperoleh nilai rata-rata  = 68,085 dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori diperoleh nilai rata-rata  = 52,30. Setelah datanya dianalisis ada perbedaan kedua rata-rata yang mana rata-rata kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari rata-rata kelas kontrol. Kemudian dari hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik uji-t diperoleh  = 5,272, untuk  = 5% dan dk = 69 didapat  = 2,00. Jadi, ≥ maka H0 ditolak berarti Ha diterima. Sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan “Ada perbedaan yang berarti penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray (TSTS) dan ekspositori terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Palembang” dapat diterima kebenarannya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada materi prisma dan limas. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan dua tahap utama yaitu tahap preliminary (tahap persiapan, tahap pengembangan model) dan tahap formatif evaluation (tahap evaluasi dan tahap revisi). Subjek penelitian penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 laki-laki,  18 perempuan, dan seluruhnya merupakan siswa kelas VIII7 di SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis dokumentasi, walkthrough, dan data hasil belajar. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah 77,57 dengan 20 siswa mendapatkan nilai 75 dan 9 siswa mendapatkan nilai < 75, menandakan bahwa hasil belajar siswa tergolong cukup baik dan penelitian yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial.

Abstract

This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang in the academic year 2021/2022 with a sample of class VII U3 as the experimental class and VII U2 as the control class. After learning using the drill method based on the Kahoot application, the average value is  and the standard deviation is S1=14,8165. While learning using the drill method without the Kahoot application, the average value is  and the standard deviation is . Based on the criteria for testing the hypothesis, the value of  and  means that  is in the rejection area of Ho, which means Ha is accepted. Thus the hypothesis which states "There is a significant effect of the drill method based on the kahoot application on the mathematics learning outcomes of students with integer operations in class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang.", is accepted as true

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the ability to understand concepts of students who receive mathematics learning using the guided discovery method at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang is greater than the KKM score. The research methodology used is a quasi-experimental method with a one-shot case study design. Class X.2, which consisted of 40 students, was selected as the sample in this study. While the technique in data collection is a written test in the form of an essay. The test questions used in this study refer to indicators that have been set, namely indicators of problem solving abilities. The data analysis technique used t-test. Based on the results of the analysis of the test data, it was obtained that tcount = 2.196 and ttable = 1.683, so it can be concluded that the concept understanding ability of students who received mathematics learning using the guided discovery method at SMA Negeri 14 Palembang was greater than the KKM score
