Abstract

The purpose of this research was find out the chemical of meatball with addition of different concentration of jackfruit seeds starch(0%, 10%, 20% and 30%). The result showed that addition of jackfruit seeds starch showed significant effect (P<0.05) to protein content but not significant (P>0.05) effect for the chemical content (water content, ash, fat), but increased levels of dietary fiber along with addition of different concentration of jackfruit seeds starch. Based on the chemical properties, it can be concluded that the 30% concentration of jackfruit seeds starch replace tapioca flour function as elasticy agent, but in general it is favoredKeywords : meatball, jackfruit seeds starch, meat chicken

Abstract

The problem of the increasing price of broiler feed accompanied by the main raw material of feed that must be imported from outside Indonesia has an impact on the difficulty of obtaining cheap feed. Therefore, a solution is needed to overcome feed problems by utilizing jackfruit seed waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of adding flour of jackfruit seed waste to carcass and non carcass weight in Broiler chickens. The material used in this study included: 80 broilers with an age of 8 days so that the average body weight of 180.70 ± 13.85 g was then maintained for 36 days and not distinguished by sex. Broilers raised from PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia recently. This study used a single factor Complete Random Design (CRD) method with a variety of feeds (yellow corn, bran, coconut cake, soybean meal, minerals) formulated with jackfruit seed flour. Parameters observed included: weight and percentage of carcass and non carcass. The results showed that the treatment of feed gave no significant effect on the percentage of carcass and non carcass (P> 0.05). Giving of 3% and 12% jackfruit seed flour can increase carcass weight. Non carcass weight will increase if given jackfruit seed waste flour at 6% and 9%. Keywords: Jackfruit seed waste, crude protein, Brioler chicken Permasalahan harga pakan ayam pedaging yang terus meningkat disertai dengan bahan baku utama pakan yang harus didatangkan dari luar Indonesia berdampak pada sulitnya memperoleh pakan yang murah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalah pakan dengan memanfaatkan limbah biji nangka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan tepung limbah biji nangka terhadap berat karkas dan non karkas pada ayam broiler. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain: 80 ekor ayam pedaging dengan umur 8 hari sehingga rata-rata bobot badan 180,70±13,85 g kemudian dipelihara selama 36 hari dan tidak dibedakan jenis kelaminnya. Ayam pedaging yang dipelihara berasal dari PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia tbk. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktor tunggal dengan beragam pakan (jagung kuning, bekatul, bungkil kelapa, bungkil kedelai, mineral) yang diformulasikan dengan tepung biji nangka. Parameter yang diamati antara lain: berat dan persentase karkas dan non karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pakan memberikan pengaruh yang tidak nyata terhadap persentase karkas dan non karkas (P>0,05). Pemberian tepung limbah biji nangka 3% dan 12% dapat menambah bobot karkas. Bobot non karkas akan bertambah bila diberikan tepung limbah biji nangka sebesar 6% dan 9%.

Abstract

This study aimed to get a good storage of chicken eggs for hatching, and to get the ideal temperature on local chicken eggs hatching. This research was conducted in the Inbis ranch of Faculty of Agriculture, Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, Malang, East Java. The design used Factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments consists of two factors are the length of the egg storage (L) consists of three levels (L1 = 3 days, L2 = 5 days, L3 = 7 days) as the first factor and the second factor (S) is the hatching temperature with three levels (S1 = 35-36°C, S2 = 37-38°C, and S3 = 39-40°C). The parameters observed were hatchability of the eggs. The results showed that the storage duration of eggs and different temperatures showed a significant effect (P> 0.05) on the hatchability of local chicken eggs. The hatchability of the study ranged from 85.17% to 88.87%. The highest hatchability in this study is 88.87% which found in the treatment of L1 (3 days) and the temperature of treatment is S2 (37-38°C). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan lama penyimpanan telur ayam kampung yang baik untuk penetasan, serta untuk mendapatkan suhu yang ideal dalam penetasan telur ayam kampung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dikandang Inbis Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi, Kota Malang Jawa Timur. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial, terdapat 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari dua faktor : faktor ke-1 (L) adalah lama simpan telur terdiri dari tiga level yaitu L1=3 hari, L2= 5 hari, L3= 7 hari, Faktor ke-2 (S) adalah temperatur penetasan telur ayam kampung terdiri tiga level yaitu : S1=35°C-36°C, S2=37°C-38°C, dan S3=39°C-40°C. Parameter yang diamati adalah daya tetas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan telur dan suhu yang berbedah menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan (P>0.05) terhadap daya tetas telur ayam kampung.. Daya tetas penelitian berkisar antara 85.17% sampai 88,87%. Daya tetas tertinggi pada penelitian ini terdapat pada perlakuan L1 (3 hari) dan suhu perlakuan S2 (37°C-38°C) yaitu 88,87%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the effect of sprout waste in feed ration on protein content and total yolk fat of chicken kedu. The study design was a randomized block design with 4 treatments and 4 repetitions included: P0: (basalt feed + market waste powder) 100% feed formulation. P1: [(basalt feed + market waste powder) 95% + sprouts 5%] 100% feed Formulation. P2: [(basalt feed + market waste powder) 90% + 10% sprout] 100% feed formulation. P3: [(basalt feed + market waste powder) 85% + sprouts 15%] 100% feed formulation. The results of the experiments were assumed below the Protein values of each treatment, P0 of 26.3 ± 0.99. P1 of 25.6 ± 1.21. P2 of 27.6 ± 0.64. P3 of 29.1 ± 2.11. and total fat respectively treatment. P0 of 41.2 ± 2.17. P1 of 44.4 ± 2.49. P2 of 46.2 ± 3.42. P3 of 46.7 ± 2.60. The best treatment in this study was on the treatment of P3 [(basal feed + market waste powder) + sprout 15%] with protein value of 29.1% and total fat of 46.7%. Tujuan penelitian adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung limbah kecambah dalam ransum terhadap kadar protein dan total lemak kuning telur ayam kedu. Rancangan penelitian adalah rancangan acak kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan di ulang 4 kali meliputi: P0 : (pakan basal + tepung limbah pasar) 100% pakan formulasi. P1 : [( pakan basal+ tepung limbah pasar) 95 % + kecambah 5%] 100% Pakan formulasi. P2 : [( pakan basal + tepung limbah pasar) 90% + kecambah 10%] 100% pakan formulasi. P3 : [( pakan basal + tepung limbah pasar) 85% + kecambah 15%] 100% pakan formulasi. Hasil penelitian menungjukan bawah nilai Protein masing masing perlakuan berturut-turut, P0 sebesar 26,3±0,99. P1 sebesar 25,6±1,21. P2 sebesar 27,6±0,64. P3 sebesar 29,1±2,11 dan total lemak masing-masing perlakuan berturut-turut. P0 sebesar 41,2±2,17. P1 sebesar 44,4±2,49. P2 sebesar 46,2±3,42. P3 sebesar 46,7±2,60. Perlakuan terbaik adalah pada perlakuan P3 [(pakan basal + tepung limbah pasar) + kecambah 15%] dengan nilai protein sebesar 29,1% dan total lemak sebesar 46,7%.

Abstract

The research aims to study a profile of the basal feed intake and average daily gain (ADG) of goat. The research was conducted in Klampok Village Singosari Subdistrict Malang with the case study method. The generally observations were conducted on fifty farmers. Feed intake and ADG of goat were measured in ten respondents, with criteria the ownership of livestockmore than 2 head and breeding time at least for six years.The research variables were breeder profile, forages type, feed intake and ADG.The data obtained was tabulated, calculated average, standard deviation and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the type of forage that is often given were Thitonia diversifolia, Paraserianthes falcataria, Brachiaria sp., Sacharum officinarum, Calliandra calotyrsus and Leucaena leucocephala. Dry matter intake during the study 12.92 kg per animal unit, it was equal 3.98% body weight of goat. Average daily gain on lamb 55,60g/head; young goat 82,33g/head and adult goat 80,57 g/head. Tujuan penelitian menentukan pola konsumsi pakan basal harian dan pertambahan bobot badan (PBB) kambing.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Klampok Kecamatan Singosari Malang, dengan metode studi kasus. Pengamatan secara umum dilakukan terhadap 50 peternak. Konsumsi pakan dan PBB ternak kambing diukur pada 10 orang responden dengan kriteria kepemilikan ternak lebih dari 2 ekor dan lama beternak minimal 6 tahun.Variabel penelitian adalah profil peternak, jenis pakan hijauan, konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan bobot badan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis pakan hijauan yang sering diberikan pada ternak kambing adalah Thitonia diversifolia, Paraserianthes falcataria, Brachiaria sp., Sacharum officinarum, Calliandra calotyrsus dan Leucaena leucocephala. Konsumsi bahan kering (BK) 12,92 kg/ST setara dengan 3,98% dari bobot badan kambing. Rata-rata pertambahan bobot badan harian anak kambing 55,60g/ekor, kambing muda 82,33g/ekor dan kambing dewasa 80,57 g/ekor.
