Abstract

This study was aimed at knowing the development, feasibility and effectiveness of a Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium on Javanese Language subject as a very feasible learning medium and helpful to improve the cognitive learning achievement of the fourth grade students of Islam Al madina Semarang. This study employed to Research and Development (R&D) method. The population and samples of this study were the students of class IV C of Islamic Elementary School (SD) Al Madina Semarang chosen by using random sampling. The data collection technique used by the researchers were questionnaire, interview, documentation, observation and test. Meanwhile, the data analysis was done by using the tests of validity, reliability, normality, t-Test, and N-gain. In the expert judgement phase, all experts agreed that the Javanese script-based monopoly game was very feasible to use as a learning medium with some revisions based on their feedbacks. Moreover, the feasibility percentages given by the experts were 98% from media expert, 97.8% from materials experts, and 94.3% from language expert. Further, this Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium affected on the cognitive learning achievement of students proven by the different average scores of students understanding based on t test as many as 11.666 and average increase (N-gain) of 0.78 with high criterion. In conclusion, the Javanese script-based monopoly game learning medium is effective to be used as a learning medium.

Abstract

This study aims to develop youtube-assisted learning videos to improve science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Kalibanteng Kidul Public Elementary School 03. This study uses a research development (R&D) approach based on Sugiyono's theory which has been adjusted to research needs into eight stages of implementation. The results of this study indicate that: (1) learning videos developed according to the questionnaire of the needs of students and teachers; (2) valid learning videos based on validation from material experts and media experts. Obtained a percentage of 100% with a very feasible category of material experts and a percentage of 78,3% with a decent category from media experts; (3) the percentage of teacher responses after using a learning video in a classical manner is 98% with very good criteria, the percentage of students' responses in a classical manner is 98,5% with criteria agreed; (4) the use of learning videos has very good practicality, because in practicality tets get a percentage 90%; (5) learning videos are effectively used in science learning, the results of the analysis of the difference in the average t-test are 0,000 and the increase in average (gain) was 0.57 with high criteria. The conclusions of the results of this study are that learning videos were suitable for use in learning activities 000 and the increase in average (gain) was 0.57 with high criteria. Abstract

This research aimed to examine the correlation between metacognitive awareness and self efficacy to the Mathematics learning outcomes of 4 th grade students in elementary school Cluster Cakra Semarang. This research used a quantitative study with the type of correlation research. The population of this study amounted to 288 students. Sampling with cluster sampling obtained 167 students. The data collection technique used questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used descriptive statistics and correlation analysis. The results showed positive and significant relationship between metacognitive awareness and self efficacy towards Mathematics learning outcomes. The percentage of correlation was 73.96%. The r coefesient value showed 0.860 and the significance value showed 0.05. In conclusion, there was a positive and significant correlation between metacognitive awareness and self efficacy to the learning outcomes Mathematics learning outcomes of 4 th grade students in elementary school Cluster Cakra Semarang.

Abstract

This study was aimed to (1) examine the correlation between parenting style and social studies learning outcomes; (2) examine the correlation between interest and social studies learning outcomes; (3) examine the correlation between parenting style and learning outcomes of social studies interest. This study used a correlation research design with a quantitative approach. This research used a saturated sampling technique of 130 students. The data collection technique used observation, interviews, questionaires and documents. The data collected was then analyzed using the descriptive stastistical and product moment analysis. The results showed that: (1) there was a positive correlation between parenting style and social studies learning outcomes, the interpretation of the closeness of the correlation showed that the category was sufficient at 41.5%; (2) there was a positive correlation between interest and social studies learning outcomes, the interpretation of the closeness of the correlation showed a very strong category that was equal to 81.8%; (3) there was a correlation between parenting style and learning outcomes of social studies interest, the interpretation of the closeness of the correlation showed a very strong correlation that was equal to 88.8%. From the results of the study it could be concluded that there was a positive correlation between parenting patterns and learning outcomes of social studies interest of Elementary Schools of Kartini Cluster Fourth Grade Sub-District of Gubug, Grobogan Regency the interpretation of the closeness of the correlation showed a very strong category that was equal to 81.8%; (3) there was a correlation between parenting style and learning outcomes of social studies interest, the interpretation of the closeness of the correlation showed a very strong correlation that was equal to 88.8%. Abstract

The background of this study is the ranking of Indonesian education in the world in 2019 showed that the quality of learning in Indonesia is on 108th ranks. While in the ASEAN region, education in Indonesia takes fifth ranks out of nine countries. The data showed the low quality of education in Indonesia. One of the evidence is the problem occurred on the fourth grade students in elementary school Cluster Diponegoro Semarang. The result of student learning of social studies on fourth grade are still relatively low. This study aims to examine the correlation between: 1) reading interest and social studies learning outcomes; 2) readiness to study and social studies learning outcomes; 3) reading interest, simultaneous learning readiness, and the learning outcomes of social studies. This study used a correlation research design with a quantitative approach. The research samples of 103 students were taken using nonprobability sampling technique by random sampling. The data collection used questionnaire, interview, and documentation. The instrument trials were carried out by validity and reliability tests. The data analysis techniques used the prerequisite test for data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there was a positive correlation between reading interest and social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 48%; 2) there was a positive correlation between learning readiness and social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 49.6%; 3) there was a positive correlation between reading interest and learning readiness simultaneously with social studies learning outcomes the proved by its correlation showed a strong contribution of 58.9%. It can be concluded that there was a positive correlation between reading interest, learning readiness, and social studies learning outcomes of fourth grade students in elementary school Cluster Diponegoro Semarang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between learning styles and learning interest toward socialstudies learning outcomes of the fourth grade students at elementary school of Kartini Cluster, Pati Regency. The type ofthis research is a correlation study. The population in this research were the fourth grade students of elementary schoolof Kartini Cluster, Pati Regency and consisted of 121 students. The sampling technique used Saturated Sampling. Datacollection techniques used questionnaries, documentation, and interviews. The instrument test was standardized by usingvalidity and reliability tests. The prerequisite analysis test used the normality, linearity, and multicollinearity tests. Whilethe data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, Product Moment correlation analysis, multiple correlation analysis,significant test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple regression analysis. The results showed that there was apositive and significant correlation between learning styles and learning interest together toward social studies outcomesthat proved by its score was 0.631 and the value of table data= 0.176. The contribution of learning styles and learninginterest variables on social studies learning outcomes was 62.8% included in the strong category.Keywords: learning style; learning outcomes; interest to learn
