Abstract

ABSTRACT : Quality Improve Effect for Operating Performance SMEs Apparel in Surabaya with Productivity zimprovement as Intervening Variable. The SMEs competitiveness generally depends on its ability to make improvements in terms of cost, quality, delivery, innovation speed, and flexibility to adapt to variations in consumer demand. Improving the quality and capabilities of companies produce products that will affect the company's improved performance. This study aims to examine the effect of improving the quality of increased productivity, improved productivity and effects on operating performance, as well as direct influence on improving the quality of the performance of operations for the SMEs of garment industries in Surabaya. Analytical tool was tested by path analysis using Partial Least Square. The result was a significant effect on the improvement of productivity while improving productivity also shows influence significantly improvements in operational performance and the improvement of the quality also shows influence significantly the operational performance. Abstrak : Pengaruh Perbaikan Kuaitas Terhadap Kinerja Operasi UKM Garmen. Surabaya Dengan Perbaikan Produktivitas Sebagai Variabel Intervening. Daya saing UKM umumnya tergantung pada kemampuannya melakukan perbaikan dalam hal biaya, kualitas, pengiriman, kecepatan, inovasi dan fleksibilitas guna beradaptasi terhadap variasi permintaan konsumen dan perlu dilakukan perbaikan yang berkelanjutan. Perbaikan kualitas dan kemampuan perusahaan menghasilkan produk yang akan mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pengaruh perbaikan kualitas terhadap perbaikan produktivitas, dan pengaruh perbaikan produktivitas terhadap kinerja operasi, serta pengaruh langsung perbaikan kualitas terhadap kinerja operasi pada UKM garmen di Surabaya. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis path yang diuji dengan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbaikan kualitas terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perbaikan produktivitas sedangkan perbaikan produktivitas juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja operasi dan perbaikan kualitas juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja operasi.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine priority of several criterias which is considered in arranging supplier ranking and furtherly used as the basis of supplier selection.Method implemented in this study are Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Taguchi Loss Function. The function of AHP is to determine criterias, whereas Taguchi Loss is used to identify supplier ranking with quality, price, warranties and claim policies, delivery, technical capabilities, and communication system criterias.  The findings show that the main criteria wanted by the company is quality with the highest weight  among other criterias, i.e 0.393. PT Surya Inti Artha emerges as the best supplier because have the smallest Weighted Taguchi loss value

Abstract

Measuring the level of customer satisfaction is one of the important factors to overcome the competition is rapidly increased. By knowing the level of customer satisfaction from services provided, the company could undertake the mapping of improved service quality. By using the integration method servqual, IPA, and QFD, the service provider is able to determine the level of customer satisfaction and straightly can make improvements of service with low levels of satisfaction. This research was conducted at Plasa TELKOM Dinoyo Surabaya’s branch. From the questionnaires showed that all the attributes of service quality in the questionnaire have a negative gap value. In IPA method showed 6 attributes with high importance and low value the fact. The quality improvement to be done such as improving the application of SOP, increasing the number of officers, officials periodically evaluate, reward the best employees every month, the maximization of information technology systems, and implementing 4S culture are really needed.

Abstract

Today, high population growth coupled with the needs of the product or service quality healthcare. One practice in improving quality is through the implementation of Total Quality Management or TQM. One of the efforts in the implementation of TQM can be done with criteria MBNQA consisting of leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, pekuruan, analysis, and knowledge management, workforce focus, process management, and business results. RSI Jemursari Surabaya as one of the hospitals of foundation hospitals islam Islam Surabaya (Yarsis) has implemented MBNQA in its business operations. This study examines the relationship between TQM implementation through MBNQA on business performance criteria of Islamic Hospital Jemursari. Data were analyzed using path analysis using Partial Least Square method with the help of software SmartPLS. From the research results obtained by the t-statistic for the criteria of customer focus 6.153 ; management process by 5.451; 5.168 leadership; strategic planning 4.314; and 2,628 business results. While the measurement, analysis, and knowledge management did not prove significant influence and adversely affect the value of the path coefficient of -0.014 with 0.288 t and the focus of labor is not proved significant with path coefficient value of 0,020 with 0,349 t.

Abstract

This research is aimed to determine the relation of customer orientation, customer opportunism, resource commitment, contractual agreements, and reverse logistic capabilities as well as the relation of reverse logistic capabilities and reverse logistics cost savings. A statistical analysis method focused on testing hypotheses, path analysis, is used as the method of this research. Samples taken in this research involve both small and medium business enterprises (SMEs) in the areas of retail, manufacturing, handicrafts, and drug sellers (drug stores and pharmacies) located in Surabaya, Malang, Singaraja, and Denpasar. Those respondents, moreover, are directly involved in reverse logistics process as well as interacting with suppliers. The results of this research then show that there is a positive relation between customer orientation and reverse logistic capabilities. It is also known that there is a negative relation between customer opportunism and reverse logistic capabilities although the relation is less significant. Furthermore, there is also a positive relation between resource commitment and reverse logistic capabilities. There is also a positive relation between contractual agreements and reverse logistic capabilities although it is not significant. And, it is also shown that there is a positive relation between reverse logistic capabilities and cost savings. Thus, it may be concluded that all five hypotheses proposed in this research have indeed been proven empirically although there are a few variables showing less significant relations, which means that these variables less affect or impact on reverse logistic capabilities and ultimately on cost savings.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction factors on Islamic performance against Muslims employee of Workforce Education in Faculty of Economics and Business Airlangga University.This study used a questionnaire in the primary data collection and quantitative approach to the multiple regression analysis method. Criteria in this study population is Muslim employee education personnel status as a civil servant at the Faculty of Economics  and Business Airlangga University totaling 87 people, consisting of 85 Muslim employees and 2 non-Muslim employees. While the sample in this study amounted to 85 Muslim employees. Sampling using sampling saturated technique, because the population in this study is less than 100 people.The results showed that the factors work itself, salary or wages, and co-workers has a positive effect (unidirectional) and partially significant to the Islamic performance. While factors promotional opportunities and working conditions negatively (opposite) and partially not significant to the Islamic performance, and supervision factors and partially significant positive effect on the Islamic performance. Abstract

This research was aimed to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethics to the employee Satisfaction on Waroeng Steak & Shake in Surabaya. This study used questionnaires in primary data collection and quantitative approaches. Experiments were done using simple linear regression, where the dependent variable (Y) is the employee work satisfaction and the independent variable (X) is Islamic work ethics. The research sample were taken by census. The research sample was 33 employees working in Waroeng Steak & Shake Surabaya.Based on the findings, it obtained simple linear regression equation : Y = 0,929 + 0,684X. The magnitude of the influence of Islamic work ethics to the employees work satisfaction on Waroeng Steak & Shake in Surabaya is the R2 value of 0,423 (42,3%). Abstract

Basically BRISyariah’s employee have different job motivations. Working on an Islamic environment certainly at least a little or a lot will affected their job motives, so that finnaly, it can be shown the Islamic performance employee. The aim of this research was to examine job motivation of BRISyariah KCI Surabaya Gubeng’s employee influance on their Islamic performance whether the Islamic performance assessment was affected by their motivations.This research is quantitative research and uses linier regression analysis as analysis model. The sample in this research was obtained by purposive sampling method. Based on this method, there were 44 employees in accordance with the criteria of this research’s sample that was determined with a minimum work term of 3 months. The performance assessment was rated by each department manager where they were placed. Data collected by distributing questionnaires about their job motivation to employees and performance appraisal sheet to the manager.The results of the research indicate that job motivation influence on the Islamic performance of BRISyariah KCI Surabaya Gubeng’s employee. REFERENCESAl-Raysuni, Ahmad. 2006. Abstract

This research purposes to determine the factors that affect onion farmers not choose financing in Sharia Banking in Nganjuk. Right now, in Sharia Banking showed rapid development but not matched by the number of customers, especially financing customers the onion farmers in Nganjuk.This research uses a quantitative approach using exploratory factor analysis. Population characteristics of this research are the onion farmers in the Ngrami village and Sukomoro Subdistrict. The number of samples during the preliminary test by conducting a written interview on 10 respondents and to the main test required 100 respondents also. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Results of this research showed that there are four factors affected onion farmers not to choose financing in Sharia Banking in Nganjuk. Four those factors as a result of reduction of processing factor analysis. The four factors are named with the recommendations of other factors, another competitor, locations, and popularity. Suggestion for Sharia Bank are to socialize, provide products financing in the form of seasonal for farmers, by proactive services to potential customers, and services through a car arround in a place easily accessible public. Factors that are formed in this research also can be used to further research for influence the other variables, the decision did not choose to become sharia banking customers as a whole, not only on financing customers. Abstract

This study aims to analyze The Effect of Marketing Mix Towards Intention become Partner on Perspective of Islam at The Branch Office of BMT Beringharjo in Madiun. The tests carried out using multiple linear regression method, where the endogenous variable (Y) is a intention become partners and exogenous variables (X) is the marketing mix that is identified with product (X1), price (X2), place/distribution channel (X3), promotion (X4), people (X5), process (X6), physical evidence (X7), promise (X8), and patience (X9). In this study added two variables in the marketing mix of services in accordance with Islamic values that promise and patience.This study uses a quantitative approach. The characteristics of the population in this studi is a partner at The Branch Office of BMT Beringharjo in Madiun are actively engaged in transactions in 2014 and live in Madiun. Total sample of the respondents is 100 (one hundred). These samples were selected using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling method with particular consideration.The results of this study indicate that simultaneous and partially, marketing mix variables consisting of product, price, place/distribution channel, promotion, people, process, physical evidence, promise, and patience shown the effect to intention become a partner on perspective of Islam at the branch office of BMT Beringharjo in Madiun. Variable place/distribution channel is the most dominant variable to the intention become partners on perspective of Islam at the branch office of BMT Beringharjo in Madiun.Suggestion for the branch office of BMT Beringharjo in Madiun should increase promotional activity to be more diverse so it can attract attention to prospective partners or partners who have joined, socialize product from BMT Beringharjo more clearly and detail, especially the difference with the product from conventional bank, and make a direct sales pitch way more exciting and creative by adding facilities and infrastructure in the promotion or by making a series of interesting activities and carried out in the crowd with direct sales activities. REFERENCESAbuznaid, Samir. ”Islamic Marketing: Addressing The Muslim Market”.
