Abstract

The parameter of the nation’s achievement is that of youth in the future, because maintaining the achievement is usually more difficult than fighting for it. Youth are young generation who are ablidged to maintain leadership and struggle to stay fit around the stricker competition in all aspects due to the higher velocity of service capital throughout the world, which influence the national integrity of a nation. This can only be resolved by producing human resource with high competitive advantage. Globalization has become the term to call a world condition which takes place without boreder. The globalization progress has evidently stood aside local wisdoms of a nation. This article serves an aoutlook on the efforts of universal character building which is rooted from the local wisdom. Keywords: Character Education, Local Wisdom

Abstract

Pedagogik sebagai ilmu pokok dalam pendidikan, jiwa dan isinya agar dapat memenuhi persyaratan landasan konsep dan fungsinya, memerlukan landasan yang berasal dari filsafat. Filsafat mengajukan pertanyaan dan menyelidiki realita dan pengalaman yang banyak terdapat dalam pendidikan. Filsafat dan pendidikan mempunyai hubungan yang erat satu sama lain, karena problema-problema tersebut berada dalam lingkungan dua disiplin ini. Pendidikan dalam pengembangan konsep-konsepnya antara lain menggunakan dasar-dasar dari kedua konsep tersebut yaitu filsafat dan pendidikan. Aliran filsafat pendidikan mencakup naturalisme, idealisme, realisme, pragmatisme, progresivisme, esensialisme, dan perenialisme. Moralitas merupakan seperangkat aturan yang merancang bagaimana hendaknya orang saling memerlakukan satu sama lain, bahwa orang yang rasional akan setuju untuk menerima, demi keuntungan timbal balik, asalkan semua yang lain mengikuti aturan-aturan itu juga. Masalah pokok dari kontrak sosial adalah kalau seseorang atau sekelompok orang itu mampu mempercayai orang lain atau kelompok lain untuk setia pada aturan-aturan, kecuali dalam situasi darurat.Kata Kunci: Filsafat Ilmu, Filsafat Pendidikan, Relativisme Kultural, Filsafat Moral

Abstract

Transactional leadership is described as providing an explanation of employees responsibilities and rewards they can expect if the specified standards is achieved. Transformational leadership approach motivates employees, so that they can thrive and achieve high levels of performance. In addition it is also necessary to support the performance of the good discipline of employees. Broadcasting companies who have employees working on the division of operational and management needed different leadership style to support the realization of optimal performance.This study used a qualitative approach. Sample was 136 people who are determined by purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used Likert scale models. Data analysis using validity test, realibitas test, the classical assumption, hypothesis testing, multiple linear regression analysis, analysis of correlation coefficients and determination.The results showed that together transactional leadership styles, transformational leadership styles, work discipline affect the performance of the companys employees broadcasting. Partially transactional and transformational leadership style had no effect on performance. And partially work discipline most dominant effect on performance.Keywords: Influence of Transactional, Leadership Style and Discipline Performance
