Abstract

This research aims to identify factors affecting consumer buyer decision to buy Rabbani products in Bunker Rabbani Pucang Branch Surabaya, amid burgeoning hijab trend fashion and competitive pressure from other retailers of moslem clothing products. In our study we employed quantitative approach, which followed by analysis using exploratory analysis factor. The sample population that we studied comprised of female customers buying Rabbani products in the above retailer, which we surveyed by using simple random sampling. The primary data collection is conducted in two stages: pre-test and main test, whereas secondary data are obtained elsewhere from literature. The pre-test was carried out by posing the questionnaire to 30 respondents. The result of pre-test is subsequently used as instrument indicator for main test which involving 91 respondents. From our investigation we obtained three factors behind consumer buyer decision to buy Rabbani products in the store used as case study: factor of product types, factor of price and store location, and factor of store promotion. Based on this result we thus provide suggestion to Rabbani store to keep up product attribute existence amid burgeoning hijab trend fashion and competitive pressure from other retailers of moslem clothing products.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of motivation to organizational commitment of teacher. This research uses questionaire as the primary data and the samples are 67 teachers and candidates of MI Islamiyah Madiun.this research uses quantitative approach with multiple linear regression as the analysis method.Based on the findings, it obtained multiple linear regression equation : Y = -0,460 + 0,666X1 + 0,473X2. The result reveals that motivation affect positively and significantly to the organizational commitment of teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Madiun. It is known from the calculated F vakue of 105,532 with a significance level (probability) of 0,000. Value of the variable t test Motivator and Hygiene partial effect on organizational commitment of teacher in MI Islamiyah Madiun significance level <0,05.MI Islamiyah should maintenance motivation of teachers, especially to endure the motivator factors and improve the hygiene factors to achieve organizational commitment of teachers in MI Islamiyah Madiun.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the decision making process of the customer of Muamalat Bank in choosing mortgage product. The process comprises problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, product choice, and the outcomes.A qualitative approach is applied in this research with the descriptive case study method. The collection of data uses purposive sampling to determine the key informant and uses snowballing sampling to determine the informants. The key informant in this research is an employee of Muamalat Bank. Meanwhile the infomants consist of four customers of Muamalat Bank. Two of them take murabahah contract and the rest takes musyarakah mutanaqisah contract. The collection of data is conducted through several steps including comprehensive exploration, focus exploration, and confirmation step. The data analysis in this research uses domain, taxonomic and componential analysis.The result of this research shows that both the murabahah and musyarakah mutanaqisah customers had already passed through five steps in decision making process comprises problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, product choice, and outcomes. The difference between two of them is revealed in the problem recognition and the product choice. The customer choose the mortgage contract based on some features.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the implementation of business ethics within the restaurant “Mie Akhirat”. This Research uses a qualitative approach entailing a descriptive case study of the object and a purposive sampling technique. The data used are collected through a semistructured interview. Analysis of data is carried out by using the descriptive analysis model. The result of this research is expected to reveal the business ethics implemented within the restaurant. This research hopes to benefit by exposing examples of islamic business ethics implemented by the restaurant. This research suggests that the implementation of islamic business ethics would be of great benefit for the whole of society including their economiccondition.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the factor that influences on selecting the model of their headcovers, it is merely because the model of headcovers worn by the female students are now vary. Therefore, there should be some factors that urges a female student as a consumer to do a reasoned action on selecting the model of headcovers. This research is a quantitative research by using factor explanatory analysis. The characteristic of the population is the students of Islamic Economy, FEB, Airlanga University which are wearing headcovers. The result of this research shows that from 18 factors gained from the data collection which then processed by factor analysis. The researcher found that there are 5 factors, i.e. Want to Show Identitiy, consumers’ environment, consumers’ comfort in dressing up, consumers’ society, and consumers’ ease in dressing up.
