Abstract

The interest of the public to put their money in the financial sanctuary is an important thing to note, especially for sharia microfinance institutions that are generally still less desirable public. The objective of this research is to analyze the needs, expectation, challenge, and belief of the community toward SMI in Bogor city. The method used in this research is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM AMOS 22) population of Bogor city community with 200 samples. The results of data analysis show that the community simultaneously has the needs, expectations, challenges, and beliefs of SMI. As with the statistical necessity with expectations, challenges with beliefs and expectations with trust have significant relationships and only variable needs with challenges that have no real relationship because of the value of both above the value that is 0.506≥0.05.

Abstract

The Islamic banking industry is currently one of the main indicators of the development of Islamic economics in Indonesia. In Islamic banking issue, one of the important issues is related to people's preferences and behavior towards Islamic banks. The study of the criteria for selecting a bank has been the concern of many bank marketing researchers. Compared to conventional, such studies are relatively minimal, especially in Indonesia. This study tries to analyze the preferences and behavior of criteria for selection of Islamic banks in Indonesia through the Analytical Network Process (ANP) approach.The results conclude that the most priority criteria that influence the selection of Islamic banks in Indonesia are service factors and religiosity factors or the suitability of banks with sharia principles. Therefore, Islamic banks need to constantly improve the quality of services both services and products so that they can compete with conventional banks.Industri perbankan syariah saat ini merupakan salah satu indikator utama perkembangan ekonomi Islam di Indonesia. Dalam masalah perbankan syariah, salah satu masalah penting adalah terkait dengan preferensi dan perilaku pemilihan masyarakat terhadap bank syariah. Studi tentang kriteria pemilihan bank syariah telah menjadi perhatian banyak peneliti. Studi tersebut relatif minimal jika dibandingkan dengan bank konvensional, terutama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mencoba menganalisis preferensi dan perilaku pemilihan kriteria bank syariah di Indonesia melalui pendekatan Analytical Network Process (ANP). Hasilnya menyimpulkan bahwa kriteria yang paling prioritas yang mempengaruhi nasabah dalam memilih bank syariah di Indonesia adalah faktor layanan dan faktor religiusitas atau kesesuaian bank dengan prinsip syariah. Oleh karena itu, bank syariah perlu terus meningkatkan kualitas layanan baik produk maupun jasa sehingga mereka dapat bersaing dengan bank konvensional.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the factor that influences on selecting the model of their headcovers, it is merely because the model of headcovers worn by the female students are now vary. Therefore, there should be some factors that urges a female student as a consumer to do a reasoned action on selecting the model of headcovers. This research is a quantitative research by using factor explanatory analysis. The characteristic of the population is the students of Islamic Economy, FEB, Airlanga University which are wearing headcovers. The result of this research shows that from 18 factors gained from the data collection which then processed by factor analysis. The researcher found that there are 5 factors, i.e. Want to Show Identitiy, consumers’ environment, consumers’ comfort in dressing up, consumers’ society, and consumers’ ease in dressing up.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the decision making process of the customer of Muamalat Bank in choosing mortgage product. The process comprises problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, product choice, and the outcomes.A qualitative approach is applied in this research with the descriptive case study method. The collection of data uses purposive sampling to determine the key informant and uses snowballing sampling to determine the informants. The key informant in this research is an employee of Muamalat Bank. Meanwhile the infomants consist of four customers of Muamalat Bank. Two of them take murabahah contract and the rest takes musyarakah mutanaqisah contract. The collection of data is conducted through several steps including comprehensive exploration, focus exploration, and confirmation step. The data analysis in this research uses domain, taxonomic and componential analysis.The result of this research shows that both the murabahah and musyarakah mutanaqisah customers had already passed through five steps in decision making process comprises problem recognition, information search, evaluation of alternatives, product choice, and outcomes. The difference between two of them is revealed in the problem recognition and the product choice. Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effect of motivation to organizational commitment of teacher. This research uses questionaire as the primary data and the samples are 67 teachers and candidates of MI Islamiyah Madiun.this research uses quantitative approach with multiple linear regression as the analysis method.Based on the findings, it obtained multiple linear regression equation : Y = -0,460 + 0,666X1 + 0,473X2. The result reveals that motivation affect positively and significantly to the organizational commitment of teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Madiun. It is known from the calculated F vakue of 105,532 with a significance level (probability) of 0,000. Abstract

This research aims to identify factors affecting consumer buyer decision to buy Rabbani products in Bunker Rabbani Pucang Branch Surabaya, amid burgeoning hijab trend fashion and competitive pressure from other retailers of moslem clothing products. In our study we employed quantitative approach, which followed by analysis using exploratory analysis factor. The sample population that we studied comprised of female customers buying Rabbani products in the above retailer, which we surveyed by using simple random sampling. The primary data collection is conducted in two stages: pre-test and main test, whereas secondary data are obtained elsewhere from literature. The pre-test was carried out by posing the questionnaire to 30 respondents. The result of pre-test is subsequently used as instrument indicator for main test which involving 91 respondents. From our investigation we obtained three factors behind consumer buyer decision to buy Rabbani products in the store used as case study: factor of product types, factor of price and store location, and factor of store promotion. Based on this result we thus provide suggestion to Rabbani store to keep up product attribute existence amid burgeoning hijab trend fashion and competitive pressure from other retailers of moslem clothing products. REFERENCESAl-Quran dan Terjemahnya. 1998. Abstract

This research aims to understand the implementation of business ethics within the restaurant “Mie Akhirat”. This Research uses a qualitative approach entailing a descriptive case study of the object and a purposive sampling technique. The data used are collected through a semistructured interview. Analysis of data is carried out by using the descriptive analysis model. The result of this research is expected to reveal the business ethics implemented within the restaurant. This research hopes to benefit by exposing examples of islamic business ethics implemented by the restaurant. This research suggests that the implementation of islamic business ethics would be of great benefit for the whole of society including their economiccondition.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine whether there is difference in the level of health of Islamic Banks using CAMELS method approach and RGEC period 2012-2014. The method used is quantitative method with purposive sampling technique. This study uses eight Islamic Banks; Bank Muamalat Indonesia, Bank Syariah Mandiri, BNI Syariah, Bank Mega Syariah, BCA Syariah, BRI Syariah, Bank Panin Syariah Bukopin Syariah. The data used are secondary data by collecting the data of annual financial statements and GCG report in the period 2012-1014, then test the difference by using the Wilcoxon test.The research found that there are differences in the level of health of Islamic Banks using CAMELS method and RGEC method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of financing primary sector, secondary sector, and tertiary sector toward Non Performing Financing (NPF) of Islamic Banking In Indonesia. Quantitative approach applied in this study as a research method. Furthermore, a technique of data analysis used is multiple linier regression to analyse the impact of independent variable toward dependent variable. The independent variable are financing primary sector, secondary sector, and tertiary sector. Meanwhile, NPF is the dependent variable. The result of the study shows that financing partially in primary sector influenced NPF significantly. Whereas, partially secondary sector and tertiary sector did not influence significantly to NPF. The result of simultance test indicated that the growth of financing primary sector, secondary sector, and tertiary sector influenced significantly to NPF of islamic banking.
