Abstract

Layanan publik yang berbasiskan web saat ini sudah menjadi bagian yang sangat penting dalam menunjang keberhasilan dari suatu instansi pendidikan, akan tetapi layanan yang berbasiskan web masih banyak yang kesulitan dalam menggunakannya, bahkan tidak menarik dan tidak berfungsi sebagai mana mestinya. Alasan laman web perlu diukur adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas situs web tersebut dari sisi pengguna. Apakah laman web tersebut sesuai dengan standarisasi yang dikeluarkan oleh Kementrian Komunikasi Republik Indonesia tahun 2003. Pengukuran ini bisa menggunakan metode usablility testing atau uji kebergunaan. Menurut Jacob Nielson (2003), Pengujian Kebergunaan (Usability Testing) memiliki lima komponen dasar yaitu dipelajari (learnability), efisien (efficiency), mudah diingat (memorability), aman untuk digunakan dan mengurangi tingkat kesalahan (error) dan memiliki tingkat kepuasan (satisfaction).

Abstract

The problem experienced by every person is looking for job vacancies. Job vacancy is an information about a job that available for job seekers, especially for a person who have not been employed and/or person who are freshly looking for a job accompanied under certain conditions. One reason of difficulty of getting a job is due to a lack of information about job vacancies. To overcome the problem, there needy urgent to build a system that capable to provide information about job vacancy. The purpose of this research is to build a mobile-based application named "PGawean" which can be used to help everyone, especially those located in the city of Tegal in finding job vacancy information. Mobile-based apps named "PGawean" are built with the method Unified Modeling Language (UML) to simplify the application creation process. Because the method of Unified Modeling Language (UML) provides an easy understanding of the role of each actor and class of the system created. Based on evaluation results by applying black box method, to mobile based application that has been made, it is proven that 95% function of the application that has been made can run well. The system has been created, will be implemented to facilitate the user / job seekers get job vacancy information, especially in the area of Tegal City and its neighborhood.Keywords : job vacancies, mobile-based application, Unified Modeling Languge (UML)

Abstract

Electronic presentations are media presentations made using various tools such as powerpoint, prezy and others that are useful for presenting to audiences from various fields, be it business, offices or education. Pusponegoro Vocational School currently has difficulties in finding appropriate media in the current situation, which it wants to improve the pattern of the distribution system in the school, so in this case the electronic manufacturing presentation is using through training activities. The method of activity used to achieve the objectives of this community service activity is the lecture method and practice using powerpoint and Prezy media where all the training participants after getting the material presented then practice what has been given its implementation. Based on the results of community service activities, it can be concluded that the knowledge and understanding of the application of electronic presentations given to the Pusponegoro Jatibarang Vocational School Teachers who participated in the training can provide new insights into the use of alternative learning media that can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

In this research, the Chi-Square-based K-Means method was implemented in the Decision Support System (DSS) to identify the disparity in Teacher's needs compared to the real conditions of Teacher's availability in the education unit (school). This is very important, because based on data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics shows that the ratio between teachers and students in Indonesia is the lowest in the world. This is influenced by the distribution of Teachers who do not meet the needs and exceed the number of student enrollments at all levels of education, resulting in less optimal quality of education produced in various regions in Indonesia. Thus, it is necessary to group data and label the disparity of Teacher's needs in educational units in various regions in Indonesia, especially in the Tegal City. In this case, the K-Means Clustering method was used to group data based on Teacher's availability data, and Chi-Square analysis was used to determine the disparity in Teacher's needs with the condition of Teacher's availability. Data collection methods used in research are observation methods. The results showed that the DSS application that had been produced could dynamically determine the education unit cluster based on the teacher availability disparity category in the Tegal City. In addition, labeling of the K-Means cluster based on the Chi-square test has a high degree of accuracy, which is 84.47%.

Abstract

This research is discussing about the usage of data mining which addressed to damage diagnosis of rolling bearings. Data input was obtained from signal frequency feature extraction which taken from calibration against rolling bearings. The diagnosis was extremely important to industrial machines since this diagnosis can help to discover damages that occurred so that total failure of cessation of the machines can be avoided and industrial machines treatment costs can be optimized. Method used in this research is Self Organizing Map (SOM), SOM method on this research was done by sequence: signal frequency data that have been through the process of acquisition and preprocessing, feature extraction, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), then come into the process of SOM so that accuracy of the diagnosis process can be discovered. The result of this research is a software that can diagnose rolling bearings damage on industrial system. From tests result, software that has been produced was able to diagnose rolling bearings damage. Accuracy result shown 87.5% success, this software can be developed further to help technicians in diagnosing rolling bearings damage. Abstract

Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan dari Biro Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Brebes, bahwa lahan pertanian pada Kabupaten Brebes merupakan lahan yang paling besar dalam pemanfaatannya. Sebagian besar luas lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Brebes merupakan lahan pertanian dengan sistem pengairan dengan luas lahan 46.087 Ha (73.50%), sistem pengairan yang diterapkan berupa irigasi teknik, irigasi setengan teknis, irigasi sederhana, maupun irigasi desa, sedangkan sisanya merupakan lahan pertanian tadah hujan (26,50%). Permerintah Kabupaten Brebes dalam melakukan pendataan luas lahan, produk maupun kuantitas hasil pertanian setiap tahunnya masih bergantung kepada data yang diambil oleh pegawai Dinas Pertanian yang tersebar disetiap kecamatan, sehingga proses pengumpulan datanya memakan waktu yang sangat lama. Data yang sudah diterima biasanya dipublikasikan dalam bentuk tekstual oleh BPS, hal inilah yang menyebabkan publikasi data kurang menarik. Di dalam menghasilkan sistem digitalisasi pemetaan lahan pertanian di Kabupaten Brebes, tahapan-tahapan penelitian yang harus dilakukan adalah membuat desain sistem berdasarkan identifikasi masalah, analisa masalah dan kebutuhan dari end user, melakukan pembuatan sistem berdasarkan desain serta mengimplementasikan sistem setelah dilakukan ujicoba dan dievaluasi. Metoda yang dilakukan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah dengan mengadopsi metoda SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), dengan menerapkan metoda tersebut diharapkan sebuat Sistem Digitalisasi Pemetaan Lahan Pertanian dapat menampilkan luas lahan, produk, kuantitas hasil pertanian setiap desa dan kecamatan yang ada diwilayah Brebes secara cepat, tepat, dan ditampilkan dengan user interface yang menarik, sehingga dapat mempermudah pemerindah daerah dalam melakukan pemetaan, serta mempercepat informasi sehingga keputusan atau kebijakan yang berkaitan dengan pertanian dapat diambil dengan cepat.

Abstract

Data management and information dissemination of Posyandu in Wanasari village, Brebes Regency is done manually. Data management is done by recording data into books, and the information is disseminated through oral. This method is not efficient because it causes difficulties in processing data and information of Posyandu. To overcome this problem, a website information system was created with exploiting the SMS (short message service). The website is used to display posyandu participant data or information, while the SMS gateway is used to send messages automatically to participants. The test results using the black-box method have not found a problem. Thus the Posyandu Information System is made ready to be tested on the community of Wanasari village, Brebes Regency.

Abstract

Abstract— For now the internet network is the main requirement of everyone. Now the internet has also reached all elements of society, even in every corner of the place to gather, be it in cafe schools or learning centers, has made the internet the main facility. WiFi is a means to wirelessly connect devices to the internet network. The problem in this research is how to provide a wireless network using the user profile of a hotspot using usermanager. The research method used is by conducting literature studies, using network topology, selecting and configuring network devices, configuring usermanager, conducting testing and analysis of results. Thus the specific target in this research is to design a WIFI network that is integrated with usermanager, and each user can be monitored at any time. Keywords—: Wireless; Hotspot; Usermanager.

Abstract

Laboratory is one of the important components in a college, where scientific research, experimentation, development or scientific training activities and even teaching-learning activities are carried out in it, so that a good schedule of space usage management and information on the availability of equipment is needed to support the smooth operation of laboratory use. At present, the process of laboratory services in the Informatics Engineering department of Politeknik Harapan Bersama is still carried out in a conventional manner, where all spatial use activities are recorded in a book, making it ineffective and less efficient. This study aims to build a Laboratory Information System in the Informatics Engineering Department of Politeknik Harapan Bersama. Data collection was performed using the triangulation method. StarUML was chosen as a tool for modeling UML-based systems, and blackbox as a method for testing system functionality. The results of this study are Web-based Laboratory Information Systems. It is expected that with this information system, it can further improve the service and effectiveness of the use of laboratories in the Informatics Engineering Department.

Abstract

Masa new normal adalah sebuah babak baru kehidupan manusia pasca diberlakukannya periode darurat nasional pandemi COVID-19. Beberapa fasilitas publik yang sebelumnya ditutup di masa new normal kembali dibuka, di antaranya adalah masjid. Salah satu protokol kesehatan yang harus dijalankan di tempat-tempat umum, salah satunya masjid, adalah adanya tempat cuci tangan atau penyediaan hand sanitizer. Namun, tuas hand sanitizer yang ditekan secara bergantian malah bisa menjadi sarana persebaran COVID-19 karena tertinggalnya virus di tuas hand sanitizer tersebut. Oleh karena itu, melalui kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dikembangkanlah sebuah alat hand sanitizer otomatis yang dapat menyemprotkan cairan hand sanitizer tanpa menyentuh tuas sprayer. Alat tersebut dibagikan ke dua masjid di Kota Tegal, yaitu masjid Ibnu Sirin dan masjid Abu Abakar Ash-Shiddiq. Tim PKM memberikan penjelasan mengenai fungsi dan teknis penggunaan alat. Setelah mendapatkan penjelasan dan arahan dari tim PKM, takmir masjid langsung memanfaatkan alat tersebut dan memasangnya di depan pintu masuk masjid. Alat ini mampu memberikan dukungan perlindungan kesehatan bagi jama’ah masjid agar terhindar dari COVID-19.
