Abstract

The role of young man in preservation Benjang’s folk art was assessed as fair which included five roles which were: the role of endowment, the role of owner, the role of doer, the role of innovative, and role of educative. Young man faced fi ve constraints in Benjang’s folk art preservation, that was first of lack of fund in developing Benjang’s folk art, second lack of government involvement in Benjang’s folk art development, third there was no involvement of academician side in Benjang’s management management and folk art show packaging, fourth lack of understanding of artistic aesthetics the Benjang’s actors, and fifth the entry of foreign culture in massif. Implication to cultural resilience of area: increasing cultural awareness and identity of area, change without trespassing cultural originality of area, and penetrating cultural warded of strangers foreigners which unmatched to area culture.Keywords: Benjang, Traditional Art, Cultural Resilience of Area

Pemuda menghadapi lima kendala dalam pelestarian seni tradisional Benjang, yaitu pertama kekurangan dana dalam mengembangkan seni tradisional Benjang, kedua kurangnya keterlibatan pemerintah dalam pengembangan seni tradisional Benjang, ketiga tidak ada keterlibatan dari pihak akademisi dalam pengelolaan manajemen dan pengemasan pertunjukan seni tradisional Benjang, keempat kurangnya pemahaman estetika seni para seniman Benjang, dan kelima masuknya budaya asing secara masif. Implikasi terhadap ketahanan budaya daerah: meningkat kesadaran dan identitas budaya daerah, perubahan tanpa menyalahi orisinalitas budaya daerah, dan menangkal penetrasi budaya asing yang tidak sesuai dengan budaya daerah.

Abstract

Religion Blasphemy cases occur in various media based on the era. Cases of blasphemy in the media initially occurred through print media intermediaries, which began during the Dutch colonial era and the New Order. As technology advances, internet media beats print and electronic media. Cases of blasphemy that initially occurred in the media, then mushroomed in the internet media. This article examines four cases of blasphemy that occurred in four different eras. First, the case of Djawi Hiswara, which occurred during the Dutch colonial era, the second case of Arswendo, which occurred during the New Order era, the third case of Ahok, which occurred in the post-reform era, and the fourth Kece cases that occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is comparative-descriptive by comparing the four cases and then analyzing them based on tolerance indicators. There are four indicators of tolerance, namely (1) is goal, (2) tolerance is open and receptive to the beauty of difference, (3) tolerance is respect for individuals and differences, and (4) the seed of tolerance is love while the seed of intolerance is indifference. The cases that meet the first indicator are the Djawi Hiswara case and the Ahok case, while the Arswendo case and the Kece case do not meet the first indicator. The four cases did not meet the second, third, and fourth indicators.
