Abstract

Community service activities in the form of training and assistance in increasing awareness of the importance of feed management through extension activities (2) activities, namely: 1. Socialization, 2. Training and Mentoring. This training and mentoring aims to increase knowledge and skills to farmers in Dukuhbadag Village, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. The addition of knowledge and skills in Feed Processing Technology is expected to increase livestock production. The targets in this PPM activity are farmers in the village of Dukuhbadag, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. The method of activity in this service program consists of 2 activities: training and mentoring. 1) dissemination activities in the form of small-scale material and practices to farmers, 2) training and mentoring namely activities carried out after the training activities were carried out by conducting initial surveys, interviews and large-scale practices involving farmers. The results of this study with a positive response by supporting our activities are providing the availability of counseling places, participants' enthusiasm, the support of the Village Head of Dukuhbadag, government officials, farmer groups and each member of the PPM. The obstacles faced are limited time, place and budget so that this activity has not 100% stimulated farmers to implement this appropriate technology. The benefits that can be obtained by participants in the PPM activity include additional knowledge about Feed Management in the Dukuhbadag Village, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. Abstract

Mulberry is a traditional Indonesian medicine that is widely used due to the antioxidants found in mulberry leaves. Alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols, and terpenoids, which act as antioxidants, are found in mulberry leaves. This community service project aims to raise awareness about the health and economic benefits of mulberry. The method used is counseling and mentoring in January – June 2020. As a result of this program, a mulberry garden has been established in the Griya Caraka residential park, which has numerous advantages. Starting with the mulberry fruit, which can be eaten raw or cooked, and the mulberry leaf, which can be used to make mulberry leaf chips, mulberry leaf tea, and silkworm feed. Furthermore, the public can learn about the health benefits and nutritional value of mulberry plants, as well as process mulberry leaf chips under the Morrus Berry trademark

Abstract

UP2K PKK adalah kegiatan pemberdayan ibu-ibu PKK untuk meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga. Anggota Pkk desa Gunung Manik ini memiliki kendala dalam pengolahan Pala dan pemasarannya, kemudian meminta tim Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon untuk melakukan Pedampingan pada program UP2K PKK. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan dan pedampingan pembuatan produk olahan pala. Adapun kegiatan tersebut sebagai berikut: 1. Memberikan pemaparan dan berdiskusi dengan para peserta, 2. Melakukan pratek secara langsung pembuatan inovasi olahan produk pala. Sasaran dalam kegiatan PPM ini adalah anggota PKK Harapan Manik yang dilaksanakan pada hari selasa tanggal 15 Juni 2021 pukul 10.00 – 16.00. Manfaat yang dapat diperoleh peserta kegiatan PPM ini antara lain 1) inovasi pengolahan buah pala menjadi selai, sirup, bolu pala, permen pala. 2) persiapan pembuatan produk untuk lomba UP2K PKK di Kabupaten Kuningan.

Abstract

Background: BUMDes is a rural economic empowerment platform that cultivates various village potentials. Under the coordination of BUMDes, it is expected that all economic empowerment will be carried out following the needs of rural communities to increase the economy and income of the community and village. This mentoring activity aims to enable farmers to utilize cow dung in compost as organic fertilizer for agricultural commodity crops in Gunungmanik Village. Method: The exercises provided are counseling and assistance in making compost. The target of this activity is members of BumDes Manik Mandiri Desa Gunungmanik. Results: The activities carried out are as follows: 1) Giving presentations and discussing with the participants, 2) Conduct field practice of making compost. The action will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, 2021, at 10.00 - 16.00 WIB. Conclusion: The benefits of this PPM activity are that participants know and understand how to make and use compost and make plans to make compost as a BUMDES business unit.
