Abstract

Abstract The parking lot is public and supporting facilities in a shopping center. Roxy Square is a shopping center in Jember which are currently arranging its parking facilities. Parking facilities should be planned with the calculations, handling, and proper circulation arrangement. All of these are intended to avoid the lack of parking spaces that would lead to queues and congestion. In this study the vehicle parking demand was calculated based on the parking space unit and the biggest difference between the arrival and departure of vehicles. The results show that the vehicles in the parking space demand in Roxy Square on weekdays only 35 % of the parking space requirements on holidays. Because there are three parking zones available, it is necessary to conduct open and close zone system and efficient parking arrangements in accordance with the needs of daily parking. Roxy Square merupakan salah pusat perbelanjaan di Jember yang saat ini sedang menata fasilitas parkir yang dimiliki. Fasilitas parkir harus direncanakan dengan perhitungan, penataan, dan pengaturan sirkulasi yang tepat. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk menghindari kurangnya ruang parkir yang akan menimbulkan antrian dan  kemacetan. Pada studi ini dihitung kebutuhan parkir kendaraan berdasarkan Satuan Ruang Parkir dan selisih terbesar antara kedatangan dan keberangkatan kendaraan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan ruang parkir kendaraan di Roxy Squae pada hari kerja hanya 35 % terhadap  kebutuhan ruang parkir pada hari libur. Karena tersedia 3 zona parkir, perlu dilakukan sistem buka tutup zona serta pengaturan parkir yang efisien sesuai dengan kebutuhan parkir harian. Kata-kata kunci: parkir, pusat perbelanjaan, kebutuhan parkir, satuan ruang parkir, zona parkir

Abstract

The PasarTanjung parking problems at Jember makes width effectivity of the street reduced, because of most the activities of the parking and unloading occurs On Street Parking. With 24,970 m2 of area of  PasarTanjung, its only have 1,569 m2 area of motorcycle parking and 63 m2 area of  the goods transportation . This study has function to planning the location of parking in the PasarTanjung in order to accommodate the vehicles and unloaded goods. Determination spacious parking requirements based on the arrival and departure of vehicles methods and based on the floor area of the building. The methods that have the biggest needed area waschoosen. The results of the analysis show that the method is based on the floor area of the building resulted in the largest total parking demand that is 7,101.5 m2. Determination of the location of off-street parking is planned at Tanjung Market building floor area of 11,400 m2. The division obtained 344 vehicle parking area for motorcycles, passenger cars 174 vehicles, 244 cars of freight vehicles. Other parking locations for motorcycle parking is in an existing park (Area 1) the number of 379 vehicles with a land area of 840 m2 parking , and Location 3 as much as 780 vehicle parking lot with a land area of 1,638 m2 .

Abstract

Bitumen extraction tests aim to separate a mixture of asphalt paving mixtures and to determine which are made in accordance with the mix plan. In general, using a reflux and centrifuge method. At reflux method, bitumen separation process using the evaporation method, whereas the centrifuge method, the separation processes using a rotation method of extraction tools. The purpose of this study to determine whether the extraction of the AC-BC mixture using two methods above have significant differences using a statistical test. Based on the results of the testing that has been done, the result are different, but not significant in statistical test t-test. From the results of hypothesis testing the value obtained tcount (2.197) < ttable (2.4469) on 5.5% asphalt content, value of tcount (1.767) < ttable (2.4469) on 6% asphalt content, and tcount (0.201) < ttable (2.4469) on 6.5% asphalt content. While on F-test obtained different results, for sample testing with value of Fcount (520.1312) > Ftable (3.284), and there are significant differences between the methods of extraction with value of Fcount (97.779) > Ftable (5.980), and there is no interaction between testing methods with bitumen content with value of Fcount (0.3061) < Ftable (4.560).

Abstract

In 2013, the construction of road median on JalanHayamWuruk Km Jbr 3+825 – Km Jbr 5+930 Jember caused traffic jam. It was shown by the number of degree saturation increased (DS=92) than without a road median (DS=0.66). This research evaluate the comparison between the sections with median and without mediant, parameter, degree of saturation, fuel cost and safety evaluation. The data collection was carried out directly in rapidity survey, and volume vehicles.The analysing of fuel comparison resulted damage 26.12 %, the same as Rp.206.4,00/knd/km, or raised 2.23 Billion per year. It based on the results of evaluation road median SNI 03-2444-2002, the degree of safety in dimension and installation of road median on km Jbr 3+825 – km Jbr 5+930 was not standarized.

Abstract

Two intersections in the campus of the University of Jember need attention. That name is Doubleway intersection and Triumviraat roundabout. This is related to the frequent occurrence of accidents at the intersection. Previous research conducted by Isnanto (2007) and Novel (2013) at  the Doubleway intersection. This intersection assumed into a roundabout, and the performance of the roundabout until 2023 showed DS ≤ 0.75. This study was conducted to evaluate the design of Doubleway and Triumviraat roundabout at the University of Jember. Evaluation results used to re-design of  Doubleway and Triumviraat roundabout in order to satisfy applicable standards/guidelines. So the safety aspect of the review of infrastructure can be realized. The diameters size results obtained from the design of the Doubleway and Triumviraat roundabout  is 38.5 m and 44.7 m. Performance of the each other roundabout  in 2014 showed  the DS value ≤ 0.75.

Abstract

A parking lot is a public facility and supporter for planning of a shopping center. Roxy Square is one of the shopping center in Jember and still managing a parking lot facility. The parking lot facility must be planned with the exact calculation, management, and circulation system in order to prevent a lack of parking zone, a queue and a traffic jam.  This research plan a need of the parking lot for vehicle based on SRP and the difference between the destination and the departure of the vehicles. The result of the analysis is obtained a need of the parking lot on the workday is only 35% from weekend. Therefore, a strategy of parking system needed. The area has three parking zones so that an open closed zone system and managemet of an efficiency parking lot for a daily parking need is done.

Abstract

Test characteristics of Marshall stability and flow generating value. Marshall test can use two types of tools, test equipment digital and analog test equipment. Digital test equipment in use and reading of data using a computer system. While analog test equipment in use and reading of data processing manually. This study used a mixture of AC-WC with optimum bitumen content of 6.5% were obtained from the results of the preliminary test, then made 28 test specimens (2 x 14). Marshall testing were performed using the Marshall test equipment. This study was guided by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) preformance testing materials, mixing aggregate with asphalt, and the Marshall test. Based on the results of volumetric analysis and testing of Marshall characteristic analysis showed an average difference of two of the digital and analog test equipment there is no real difference. The average value of the results of the analysis and testing of the Marshall characteristics using a digital test equipment was obtained: density (kg / m 3) = 23,6; VMA (%) = 18,69; VIM (%) = 4,80; VFA (%) = 74,37; stability (kg) = 2165,00; flow (mm) = 4,11; MQ (kg / mm) = 574,48. Analog test equipment is obtained:: density (kg / m 3) = 23,6; VMA (%) = 18,76; VIM (%) = 4,88; VFA (%) = 74,01; stability (kg) = 2000,67; flow (mm) = 3,60; MQ (kg / mm) = 585,73.

Abstract

Abstract In line with improvement of economic conditions and enhancement of the tourism sector in East Java, the potential tourism market and its industries became a target of businesses in the transport sector, especially the tourism travel and rental transportation. This service was predicted to grow rapidly during the development in tourism sector. Therefore, the construction of transport infrastructures became an important issue to support the tourism sector. Not only Central Government, but also Provincial and Regency/City Government have a role in accordance with their respective authorities to plan, formulate policies, control and supervise the implementation of efficient and reliable transport systems. To improve the quality of tourism and rent service, performance evaluation of the companies should be conducted regularly. Keywords: tourism and rent transport, performance evaluation, services, performance  Abstrak Seiring dengan membaiknya kondisi perekonomian dan meningkatmya sektor pariwisata di Jawa Timur, potensi pasar dunia pariwisata dan industri turunannya mulai menjadi incaran para pelaku usaha di sektor transportasi, khususnya angkutan pariwisata dan angkutan sewa. Layanan ini diprediksi tumbuh dengan cepat seiring perkembangan dunia pariwisata. Oleh karena itu, pembangunan prasarana transportasi menjadi penting untuk mendukung sektor pariwisata ini. Tidak hanya Pemerintah Pusat, namun juga Pemerintah Provinsi, dan Pemerintah Kabupaten/Kota mempunyai peran sesuai cakupan kewenangannya masing-masing untuk menyusun rencana, merumuskan kebijakan, mengendalikan, dan mengawasi perwujudan sistem transportasi yang efisien dan handal.
