Abstract

Vocabulary wealth for every learner is a must. Without an extensive vocabulary, it will hinder the ability to speak, but in reality, learners of Arabic. Therefore, this study will reveal language games as an alternative to improving Arabic vocabulary skills. The research was conducted at Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Daarul Ukhuwah Elementary School Malang, Indonesia, using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through Google Forms and guided interviews with 30 grade 1 and 3-grade students and 4 Arabic teachers. The data collected were analyzed through the stages of reducing, presenting, and concluding. The results of this study indicate that the language game "guess animals and objects, guess the word" is an alternative learning model that teachers can use in teaching Arabic vocabulary that is fun and oriented to students. The findings of this study describe that students find meaning in learning Arabic vocabulary using language games because the learning process is fun and enjoyable.

Abstract

Pendidikan alternatif dengan model sekolah rumah (homeschooling) tidak hanya menumbuhkan keinginan belajar secara fleksibel pada anak, namun juga mampu menumbuhkan karakter moral pada anak. Pasalnya, dengan menyerahkan proses belajar sebagai hak anak untuk mendapatkan pendidikan, akan mendorong anak untuk belajar berdisiplin dan bertanggung jawab, terhadap segala kegiatan belajar yang telah dilakukannya.Sistem ini terlebih dahulu berkembang di Amerika Serikat dan beberapa negara lainnya di dunia. Belakang ini banyak orangtua yang tidak puas dengan hasil sekolah formal sehingga menjadikan homeschooling sebagai alternatif proses belajar mengajar dalam perkembangan dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Kerapkali sekolah formal berorientasi pada nilai rapor (kepentingan sekolah), bukannya mengedepankan keterampilan hidup dan bersosial (nilai-nilai iman dan moral). Selain itu, perhatian secara personal pada anak, kurang diperhatikan.

Abstract

The vision and mission of Islamic education in the hadith are not only as slogans or as decorations and school wall displays, but really must be used as the basis for bringing the educational institution towards improvement accompanied by innovations in it. The very basic goal of Islamic education is to create human beings to become true servants of Allah. That is to make his whole life devoted only to Allah SWT. Besides that, the purpose of Islamic education is to create a balanced life between the life of the world and the hereafter. Islamic education also aims to develop human potential to become a perfect human being (insan kamil).

Abstract

Fiqh learning with various materials contained in it is faced with a real problem; namely, students find it challenging to have the ability to apply the subject matter they get. They understand cognitively but are not able to affectively and psychomotor. Therefore, teachers must make a breakthrough by trying new things in the learning process. This study aims to describe the use of the drill method in improving the ability of students in the field of fiqh, especially wudu and salat materials. Research is carried out in the form of Classroom Action Research, which is research based on real conditions in the classroom. Data is collected through observations and documentation studies. This research was conducted in the form of Classroom Action Research based on real conditions in the classroom. Based on the results, in the first cycle, 10 students were unable properly perform Wudu and salat. Based on these conditions, the researcher re-planned using the drill method in teaching Wudu and salat. Observations in cycle II showed that it is necessary to continue in cycle III because, in cycle II, 4 students were not yet skilled in wudu and salat. After cycle III, 17 IV-graders have skills in carrying out practical worship. The results showed that the drill method effectively improved skills in carrying out practical worship.

Abstract

The golden ink of Islamic civilization which has long dominated the world certainly makes Islam a phenomenon worthy of study throughout the world, especially by people outside of Islam. Westerners in particular. They research, conduct studies, and make Islam an object of study in their world of education. Moreover, it is supported by the methodological advantages they have. .With this background, the author wants to examine in depth related to Islamic studies in the Western world, especially in the academic world. Hopefully it can provide overall benefits. From this background, several problems can be formulated to be examined in this paper, including: What is the essence of Islamic studies? How is the history of Islam?studies in the Western world? From the presentation of Islamic studies in the West in the academic world that has been mentioned in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: (1) Islamic studies are an attempt to know and understand and discuss in depth the ins and outs of matters relating to Islam from various aspects. By holding Islamic Studies, it is hoped that it will be able to increase the understanding and appreciation of Muslims wherever they are; (2) Islamic studies when viewed from a research perspective, can be grouped into two, insiders and outsiders. Islamic studies by Muslims themselves in classical times tended to use a continuous pattern from generation to generation. The pattern has shifted in the present, which tends to become a pattern critical. While the perspective of outsiders, Islamic studies are critical in various aspects because they are based on an attitude of self-defense against the beliefs that they believe in so far; (3) The history of Islamic studies in the Western academic world has existed for a long time. That long history is broken down into three according to the aims and content of Islamic studies. The three stages include: the theological stage, the political stage and the scientific stage; (4) It can be seen the condition of Islamic studies in the Western academic world from the proliferation of centers for Islamic studies in various countries, both in America and Europe. Many Islamic study centers have sprung up in the United States, Chicago, Holland, Germany, London and so on.
