Abstract

This research aimed (1) to describe the students? need for and interest in work readiness skill development and (2) to provide prototype of work readiness service guidance for SMK students using goal setting technique for Counselor. This study employed Borg and Gall?s research and development design. This stage only reached the pre-development stage, product development. Data collection was carried out by using student need and interest questionnaire to find out the student need and interest levels. Data analysis was conducted using factorial and percentage analysis and ranking. The Test results showed that (1) there were students? need for and interest in work readiness development in students?, parent?s, and counselors? perspectives, by considering the result of theoretical and empirical study and (2) considering the result of preliminary study analysis and theoretical study, a product could be developed in the form of Work Readiness Service Guidance for SMK students using goal setting technique for counselor.Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mendeskripsikan kebutuhan dan kepentingan siswa terhadap pengembangan keterampilan kesiapan kerja dan (2) menghasilkan prototipe satu panduan layanan kesiapan kerja siswa SMK menggunakan teknik goal setting untuk guru BK.   Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall. Tahap penelitian ini hanya sampai tahap pra pengembangan yaitu pembuatan produk. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket kebutuhan dan kepentingan siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat kebutuhan dan kepentingan siswa.  Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis faktorial dan prosentase dan perangkingan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) ada kebutuhan dan kepentingan siswa terhadap pengembangan kesiapan kerja menurut siswa, orang tua, dan guru BK berdasarkan hasil kajian teoritik dan empirik dan (2) berdasarkan hasil analisis studi pendahuluan dan kajian teoritik dapat dikembangkan produk berupa Buku Panduan Kesiapan Kerja Siswa SMK Menggunakan Teknik Goal setting untuk Guru BK.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the effectiveness of group counseling by selftalk technique to improve the social adjustment of boarding high school students. This research was an experimental research by using pre-experimental method with the plan one group pretest posttest design. The subjects of this research were 14 students who had low score of their pretest. The data analysis in this research was using Wilcoxon test. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it could be known that there were a rise score between before and after giving the treatment. The result of the data analysis by using Wilcoxon was indicate p value=0.001 (0.001< 0.05), it means that Ha was received. Conclusion of this research was selftalk technique effective to improve the social adjustment of biarding high school students.

Abstract

AbstractPT. Pertamina  (Persero)   Region VI Balikpapan Kalimantan  Marine Department is responsible for  the smooth   distribution of oil  at sea, After about    six years of      operation  to replace the   engines  were new, there are  possible factors     that  influence  the course of a new boat engine       replacement project    due to  different the current   situation with situation at the   time to do  feasibility study   six  years earlier,   so that should be   evaluated  to  determine whether  the project is still feasible to run. The   financial    aspects of   the old   boat   engine   repair   NPV $ 482,006  while for a new boat engine    replacement $ 1,201,148 NPV and boat contrac  $.1.069.480.  IRR value  is greater   than   that required   by the company, which    is to repair the old boat engines for the replacement of  33.2%   while the new boat engine replacement 38, 67% improvement in PI and old ship engines for 1,09   while for new   ship engines 1,03    replacement    so that   the  investment is feasible, Payback Period for the old boat engine repair over 3 years, 10 months, 2 days while a     replacement engine    for a new 3 year and 5 ships month 19 days. From the sensitivity analysis found that    the project to repair the old   boat engine   feasible if    cash flow   is greater than $ .281.615 while    for a new   boat engine   replacement is   feasible if   cash flow is greater than $ 541.538. Of the three alternative NPV feasible because alternative investments are Mutually Exclusive then only have one alternative calculation that is an alternative to the second purchase of new ship's engines. Keyword :  Investment Mutually Exclusive, Aspect financial: NPV, IRR, Profitability Index, Payback period and Sensitivity. Abstrak                PT. Pertamina (Persero) Region VI Balikpapan Kalimantan Marine Departement adalah bertanggung jawab terhadap kelancaran distribusi minyak di laut, Setelah kurang lebih enam  tahun beroperasi mengganti mesin kapal baru , dimungkinkan terdapat faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap jalannya proyek penggantian mesin kapal baru karena berbedanya situasi saat ini dengan situasi pada saat dilakukan studi kelayakan enam  tahun sebelumnya, sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui apakah proyek tersebut masih layak untuk dijalankan. Aspek financial perbaikan mesin kapal lama diperoleh NPV $ 482.006 sedangkan untuk penggantian mesin kapal baru NPV $ 1.201.148 dan NPV kontrak kapal adalah $.1.069.480. nilai IRR lebih besar dari yang disyaratkan perusahaan, yaitu untuk perbaikan mesin kapal lama 33,2 % sedangkan untuk penggantian mesin kapal baru 38,67 % dan nilai PI perbaikan mesin kapal lama sebesar 1.09 sedangkan untuk penggantian mesin kapal baru 1,03 sehingga investasi dikatakan layak, Payback Period untuk perbaikan mesin kapal lama lebih 3 tahun, 10 bulan, 2 hari sedangkan untuk penggantian mesin kapal baru 3 tahun 5 bulan 19 hari. Dari analisis sensitivitas diketahui bahwa proyek untuk perbaikan mesin kapal lama layak jika aliran kas lebih besar dari $.281.615 sedangkan untuk penggantian mesin kapal baru  masih layak untuk dilakukan jika aliran kas lebih besar dari $ 541.538.Dari NPV ketiga alternative layak dilakukan karena alternative investasi bersifat Mutually Exclusive maka hanya dipilih satu alternatif perhitungan yaitu alternatif ke II pembelian mesin kapal baru. Kata Kunci :  Investasi Mutually Exclusive, Aspek finansial: NPV, IRR, Profitability Index, Payback period dan Sensitifitas.

Abstract

This study was initially conducted due to the fact that the are still many students found to have difficulties in learning, either because of their less precise learning methods or their low learning skill. This was shown in the number of students who did cheating during tests and a large number of students who learn only if there will be daily tests or exams. It is therefore, students? learning skill needs to be improved. To improve the learning skill, a guidance and counseling service which suits the characteristics and needs of adolescents is required. This research was using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The results shown that p-value was 0,000 (0,00<0,05). So, can be concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. There was a significant difference on study skill improvement between the experimental group given the treatment and the control group who did not receive treatment.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine effectiveness of the implementation of the cooperation game techniques in group counseling to improve students?emotional intelegent. This research was conducted on the basis that in Junior High School in Karanganyar.  This research was quasy-experimental design. The subjects were students who have low emotional intelligence, ie students who earn below the mean pretest scores. Analysis using t-test statistical formula. The analysis showed a p values 0.000, which means that there is a difference between the experimental group who had been given a treatment with a control group who did not receive treatments. It shows that the game under the guidance of the group effective cooperation to improve the emotional intelligence of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of self-awareness training to improve the self-adjustment of student. This study was a quasi-experimental research (Quasi Experimental Design) to design Nonequivalent control group design that consist of the experimental group and the control group. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. Data analysis using the Mann Whitney and Wilcoxon. The conclusion of this research was that self-awareness training was an effective way enhance the self-adjustment of student.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) participants? self-confidence who have high self-disclosure and high economic level of parents; (2) participants? self-confidence who have high self-disclosure and low economic level of the parents; (3) participants? self-confidence who have low self-disclosure and high parental economic level; (4) participants? self-confidence who both have low of self-disclosure and economic level of parents. This were descriptive correlational research. The participants were 106 students taken by random sampling technique. The conclusion of this study is general self-confidence of participants included in the high category followed by medium category both of self-disclosure and parental economic level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menguji efek bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik role playing terhadap self efficacy dan outcome expectations. Jenis penelitian quasi eksprerimental dengan design pre-test post-test control group design diaplikasikan melibatkan 20 siswa yang memiliki skor total dari self-efficacy dan harapan hasil rendah yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen berjumlah 10 siswa dan kelompok kontrol berjumlah 10 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bimbingan kelompok teknik role playing efektif untuk meningkatan self-efficacy karir dan harapan hasil (outcome expectation) siswa. Pembahasan dan saran terkait hasil penelitian ini dikaji dalam artikel ini.This research was intended to test the effect of group guidance service with role playing technique on students’ self efficacy and outcome expectation. A design of pre-test and post-test control group design was implemented with involving 20 students who have a total score of self-efficacy and low outcome expectations. They were divided two groups, namely: the experimental group of 10 students and control groups of 10 students. The data analysis technique used was MANOVA test with significance level of 5%. The results showed thatthe implementation of group counseling techniques by using role playing was effective in improving the students’ career self-efficacy and their outcome expectations. Discussion and recommendation based on thi findings were presented in this study.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif membutuhkan instrumen yang akurat, guna menghasilkan data yang akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menganalisis model instrumen evaluasi program BK faktual, dan (2) menghasilkan model final instrumen evaluasi program BK komprehensif. Metode penelitian ini reseach and developmen (R & D), melalui tahapan: (1) persiapan pengembangan dengan perumusan desain model  evaluasi program BK komprehensif, (2) merancang model hipotetik, (3) validasi ahli dan praktisi yang meliputi ahli dalam bidang BK komprehensif dan praktisi yang merupakan guru BK, (4) evaluasi dan perbaikan awal setelah mendapatklan hasil dari validasi ahli dan praktisi, (5) uji kelayakan model melalui FGD, (6) evaluasi dan perbaikan akhir dalam rangka model akhir. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) instrumen evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif faktual belum layak digunakan untuk mengevaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif, (2) ditemukan desain model hipotetik instrumen evaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif, (3) dihasilkan model final  instrumen yang layak digunakan untuk mengevaluasi program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif.The implementation of comprehensive guidance and counseling program needs an accurate instrument. The aim of this research were: (1) describe and analyze models of evaluation instruments of factual comprehensive guidance and counseling program, (2) produce a model of evaluation instruments of comprehensive guidance and counseling program that is effective. The research methodology was reseach and developmen (R & D), through the stages: (1) preparation of the development by the formulation of model design to which evaluation of guidance and comprehensive counseling program, (2) design a hypothetical model, (3) validation of experts and practitioners, including experts in the field of comprehensive Guidance and Counseling and practitioners who are Guidance and Counseling’s teachers, 4) the evaluation and initial repair after getting the results of experts and practitioners’ validation, (5) feasibility test of the model through focus group discussions (FGD), (6) the evaluation and final repair in the context of the final model. The results of the research showed that (1) the evaluation instrument of factual comprehensive guidance and counseling program was not feasible used to evaluate the comprehensive guidance and counseling program, (2) it was formulated an the design of hypothetical model evaluation instrument guidance and counseling program is comprehensive (3) it was produced an appropriate instruments model design used to evaluate a comprehensive guidance and counseling program.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pelaksanaan layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif dan live modeling terhadap pemahaman karier siswa serta untuk mengetahui mana yang lebih efektif layanan informasi karir berbantuan video interaktif atau live modeling untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap, Waru Reja, Kabupaten Tegal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan jenis rancangan pretest-posttest control design. Populasi adalah siswa SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 32 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen A yang akan diberikan treatment video interaktif, 32 siswa sebagai kelompok ekperimen B yang akan diberikan treatment live modeling dan 32 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif dan live modeling untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. Layanan informasi karier berbantuan video interaktif efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa. Layanan informasi karier dengan teknik live modeling juga efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman karier siswa. Relevan dengan temuan ini maka konselor perlu penerapan video interaktif dan live modeling pada pelaksanaan layanan informasi karier agar siswa mampu meningkatkan pemahaman karier.The purposes of this study were to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of interactive video-assisted and live modeling in career information services to improve students’ career understanding and to find out which more effective between those strategies. This study implemented control group pretest-posttest design. The population was the students of SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap Waru Reja. The sample was 32 students as an experimental group A which given interactive video treatment, 32 students as an experimental group B which given live modeling treatment, and 32 students as a control group. The results showed that both strategies were effective to improve the students’ career understanding at SMP Negeri 3 Satu Atap, Waru Reja. The counselor recommended to implement the interactive video and live modeling strategy on career information services to improve the students’ career understanding.
