Abstract

AbstrakDongeng yakni sebuah produk budaya yang telah mengalamiberbagai macam perubahan terhadap media penyampaiannya.Bahkan dongeng menjadi dilupakan oleh anak-anak di jamansekarang. Agar dongeng tetap disukai anak – anak jaman sekarang,maka diperlukannya pengemasan cerita dongeng yang sesuaidengan minat anak jaman sekarang yaitu dengan dilakukannyapembuatan animasi 3D dongeng Si Kancil dan Buaya yang dapatdinikmati melalui smartphone. Cerita Si Kancil dan Buayamenjadi pilihan dongeng peneliti karena cerita ini sudah ada lamadi Jawa dan dulunya cerita Si Kancil dan Buaya sering dijadikansebagai pengajaran untuk anak-anak. Dalam pengemasan 3D inidiharapkan dongeng tetap dapat dinikmati oleh anak-anak jamansekarang. Metode penulisan yang dipakai dalam perancangan iniadalah analisis kualitatif naturalistik. Perancangan animasi daridongeng "Si Kancil dan Buaya" dengan menggunakan AdobePhotoshop dan Adobe Illustrator dianimasikan dengan softwareBlender 2.8. Perancangan animasi ini juga meliputi pembuatankonsep karakter, storyboard, background, proses animasi yangmeliputi rigging, rendering, dan compositing. Hasil dariperancangan ini adalah animasi pendek Si Kancil dan Buayadengan durasi 3-4 menit. Terdapat media pendukung berupa CDcase, botol minum, T-shirt, trailer, danvideo perkenalanKata Kunci: dongeng, perancangan, animasi 3DAbstractFairytale is a cultural product that has undergone various changesto the delivery media. Even fairy tales are forgotten by childrentoday. In order for fairy tales to be liked by children today, it isnecessary to package fairy tales in accordance with the interestsof today's children, namely by making 3D animation of fairy talesof the hare and crocodiles that can be enjoyed throughsmartphones. The story of The Mouse Deer andCrocodile is a fairy choice for researchers because this story hasbeen around a long time in Java and the story of The Mouse Deerand Crocodile is often used as teaching for children. In this 3Dpackaging it is hoped that fairy tales can still be enjoyed bychildren today. The writing method used in this design is anaturalistic qualitative analysis. The animation design of the fairytale "The Mouse Deer and Crocodile" using Adobe Photoshop andAdobe Illustrator is animated with Blender 2.8. The design of thisanimation also includes the creation of character concepts,storyboards, backgrounds, animation processes that includerigging, rendering, and compositing. The result of this design is ashort animation of the Mouse Deer and Crocodile with a durationof 3-4 minutes.
