Abstract

This article aims to explore the nationalism among students Islamic Junior High School (MTs) and Junior High School (SMP) in the District of Serang and Serang Municipality. Statistical analysis show that in order to find a comparison between the national insight MTs and SMP students  in research location by using Test t to sample a large group. Based this study, it is concluded that there was no significant difference between the nationalistic viewpoint MTs and SMP students in Serang Municipality with  MTs  and SMP students in Serang District. However, basing on the difference between the average value the mean between the two groups of respondents turned out to mean price MTs and SMP student groups in Serang City (204.235) were slightly larger than the mean price of MTs and SMP school student groups in the district of Serang (203.765).-----Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi wawasan kebangsaan siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) di wilayah Kabupaten Serang dan Kota Serang. Kemudian melakukan analisis statistik dalam rangka mencari perbandingan wawasan kebangsaan antara siswa MTs dan SMP di lokasi penelitian dengan menggunakan Tes “t’ untuk sampel kelompok besar. Dalam studi ini disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara wawasan kebangsaan siswa MTs dan SMP di Kota Serang dengan Siswa MTs dan SMP Kabupaten Serang. Namun demikian, berdasarkan selisih nilai rata-rata (mean) antar kedua kelompok responden ternyata harga mean kelompok siswa MTs dan SMP di Kota Serang (204,235) sedikit lebih besar dibandingkan dengan mean kelompok siswa MTs dan SMP di Kabupaten Serang (203,765).

Abstract

This study aims to understand deeply to the idea of Abuya Dimyati in development traditional Islamic educational and spiritualistic, so it produces an image of a well-organized and complete. This research uses descriptive method with the intention of collecting information about the status of existing symptoms, using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The techniques in data collection used guidelines of observation, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines. The results showed that: First, idea of Abuya Dimyati in development of traditional Islamic studies at boarding school of Cidahu Pandeglang basically more emphasis on textual understanding. The approach used is more oriented towards the reading completion of a book and then move to the next book so that the curriculum is not classical. Second, idea of Abuya Dimyati in development of spiritualistic studies at boarding school of Cidahu Pandeglang more emphasis on the teaching of tarekat (wirid), Abuya zikr using Tarekat al-Qodiriyyah, an-Naqsyabandiyyah, al-Khalwatiyah, and asy-Syadziliyyah.

Abstract

If we want to be honest, as a matter of fact, there are many regions that are not ready to receive various authorities in the context of the religion autonomy yet, including in carrying aut the authority on education sector. The reasons for his are (a) insufficient human resourse, (b) unavailabel means and infrastructures, (c) the very low provincial budget, (d) the lack of mentality toward changes, (e) being nervous and afraid toward renewal or innovative efforts. To be bureaucratic elite is dilemmatic and confusing. On the one hand, one has to works hard to serve the complex and hard problen of the society; on the other hand, the regulations of the district head are financial monitoring which is becoming stricter and stricter as well as the multiinterpretation between the organizer and the law enforcer apparatus. Realization of decentralization in the school management needs the readiness from all supporting elemnts in the region. There are, at least, four elements that schould be prepared in order that the realization of decentralization succeed: (1) Law and regulation that regulate decentralization of education from distric or provincial level until the instituation level, (2) the devloment of the region capability, (3) creating the startegy of unit which is in charge of making education planning, (4) the readiness of society in receiving and helping to create the conducive milieu for realization of the decentralization. Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits di MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang, dengan melihat pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits, dan peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, yakni mendeskripsikan tentang fenomena-fenomena yang ada. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan beberapa hal penting: Pertama, pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, penyusunan kebijakan dan tanggung jawab pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta strategi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Kedua, kegiatan proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits yaitu adanya suatu tahap perencanaan yang dibuat terlebih dahulu seperti rencana pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar dengan menentukan seluruh langkah-langkah yang akan disampaikan kepada siswa serta adanya evaluasi dalam pembelajaran untuk mencapai tujuan yang sudah ditentukan sesuai dengan kurikulum yang ada. Ketiga. Peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar Al-Qur’an Hadits, melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pesantren Sabtu Ahad tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah yang menarik bagi siswa untuk memanfaatkan waktu luang dengan sebaik-baiknya, menguatkan dan memantapkan proses pembelajaran keagamaan di sekolah, bergairah untuk membaca Al-Qur’an dengan baik dan benar, mempelajarinya, memahami, meyakini kebenarannya, dan mengamalkan ajaran-ajaran dan nilai yang terkandung didalam Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk dan pedoman dalam seluruh aspek kehidupannya sehari-hari. Kata kunci : Ekstrakurikuler, Proses Belajar Mengajar, Al-Qur’an Hadits

Abstract

This article discusses the management of the improvement of lecturers' professionalism in Banten. There are some important research questions studied in thi  article:  (1)  what  are  the  aspects  in   manag ement   of  the  improvement  of lecturers' professionalism in Banten?; (2) How is the implementation of the improvement of lecturers' professionalism in Banten?; (3) What are the problems and weaknesess faced by the management of the improvement of ledurers'professionalism in Banten?; and (4) What are the steps that will be done by the management university in improving the lecturers' professionalism in Banten in the future? This research uses qualitative method. The descriptive study is used in analyzing the data. The data of this research are obtained from lecturers and university bureaucrats in The State Institute for Islamic Studies of IAIN ''SMH" Banten,  Islamic Universityof Syekh  Yusuf  Tangerang,  and University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa Banten. Abstract

This study aims to understand perceptions of teachers, education personnel, students and parents about full day school education program; basic concepts of full day school education; factors driving or impeding the implementation of full day school education at research site; and follow-up of full day school program in the future. This research used quantitative and qualitative approach with descriptive method and rely on data collection technique from spreading questionnaire, observation, interview, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis techniques used description analysis techniques. The population in this study were teachers who were given additional task as vice principal at State Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) 1 Serang, student and parents in class VIII as representative respondents. Processing and data analysis was done gradually, along with the emergence and development of information input from research subjects. The conclusion of this study is teachers and education personnel of State MTs 1 Serang agreed to implement full day school education program, in order to: prepare themselves to face the era of competition in economic society of ASEAN environment; strengthen the motivation and competition of student learning process; improve work motivation and performance of teachers and administrative staff; also maintaining the establishment of happy and prosperous families by using "Saturday" as a family holiday.

Abstract

 Tsunami sebagian besar disebabkan oleh gempa bumi di dasar laut. Selain itu tsunami juga bisa dipicu akibat tanah longsor di dasar laut, letusan gunungapi dasar laut, ekstrusi gas, jatuhnya benda-benda langit, ledakan nuklir, dan sumber pembangkit lainnya. Penelitian ini adalah field research (penelitian lapangan), yang menitik beratkan pada hasil pengumpulan data dari informan yang ditentukan. Penelitian lapangan ini dilakukan secara langsung dimana objek yang diteliti yaitu masyarakat atau warga yang terdampak tsunami Selat Sunda. Jika ditinjau dari sifat penelitian, penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam penelitian deskriptif, yakni mempelajari masalah-masalah dalam masyarakat, serta tata cara yang berlaku dalam masyarakat serta  situasi-situasi tertentu, termasuk tentang hubungan, kegiatan-kegiatan, sikap-sikap, pandangan-pandangan, serta proses-proses yang sedang berlangsung dan pengaruh-pengaruh dari suatu fenomena. Bencana tsunami di Selat Sunda memberikan dampak psikologis bagi masyarakat di wilayah Banten dan sekitarnya. Traumatik akibat bencana tsunami yang mereka alami perlu mendapatkan penanganan yang serius. Bantuan berupa konseling untuk mereduksi traumatik mereka belum banyak dilakukan.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the leadership style of principal in improving the quality of education at MA Al-Inayah Cibeber and Madrasah Aliyah Al-Khairiyah Tegal Buntu Cilegon City. (2) Describe the obstacles to the leadership style of principal in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Inayah Cibeber and Madrasah Aliyah Al-Khairiyah Tegal Buntu Kota Cilegon, (3) describe the results of the leadership style of principal in improving the quality of education at MA Al-Inayah Cibeber and Madrasah Aliyah Al-Khairiyah Tegal Buntu, Cilegon City. The method in this research is using the qualitative-descriptive method. The choice of this method will make it easier to understand the data exposure that has been described because it is arranged accurately and systematically. This data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the strategy adopted by the principal of MA Al-Inayah and MA Al-Khairiyah Tegal Buntu refers to the quality theory of education which includes input, process, and output. The leadership style of the head of MA Al-Inayah Cibeber, Cilegon City, turns out to lead to democratic leadership and administration. Meanwhile, the leadership style of the principal of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Khairiyah Tegal Buntu Kota Cilegon leads to a democratic leadership style. This can be seen from the interference and thoughts of the parties involved in issuing Madrasah policies.

Abstract

Strategic management offers the school to plan a superior strategy to achieve the school's vision and mission. However, in reality, not all schools implement strategic management. So there is a gap between expectations and reality. This study aims to describe the strategic management of SD Muhammadiyah in improving service quality and graduate education. This research is a qualitative study, by taking the object of research in SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang related to superior strategies undertaken by SD Muhammadiyah in improving the quality of services and education graduates. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis performed using descriptive methods. The results showed that the strategic management process of SD Muhammadiyah 12 Pamulang in improving service quality and education graduates began with planning through internal and external environmental analysis and the selection, implementation, and evaluation of exemplary strategy implementation
