Abstract

Abstract The blind students have limitations in receiving information, they are only a hold of the senses of hearing and touch, so understanding of abstract mathematical objects understood through verbal description of teacher with concrete objects directly fingered. This can result in a lack of ability of students to accept the concepts being. The acceptance of blind students in understanding the concept of geometry, include: 1) the students attention to the teachers explanation; 2) the pattern of asking; and 3) the pattern of answers. Reception pattern blind students in understanding the concepts learned can be viewed through direct observation during the learning activities with the help of a data recording device handycame. The data has been analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion and validity of the data obtained by using triangulation time. The result showed that blind students have a pattern of acceptance in understanding the concept of geometry, as follows: 1) the students attention to the explanation of the teacher in the learning merely listened without linking with the previous concept; 2) the pattern command asks merely asking the teacher is less clear, which is not directly related to the concept studied; 3) the pattern of students in answering questions of teachers, obtained from the statements that have been previously informed. Keywords:reception pattern, blind students, mathematics learning

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif Talking Stick disertai strategi pembelajaran Concept Mapping efektif terhadap materi pokok garis singgung lingkaran dilihat dari Kemampuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran, aktivitas peserta didik  dalam proses pembelajaran, respon peserta didik  setelah proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik  kelas VIII SMP N 1 Pulau Panggung pada materi pokok Garis Singgung Lingkaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP N 1 Pulau panggung Tahun Pelajaran 2016-2017 yang berjumlah 256 peserta didik dan terbagi menjadi 8 kelas dimana masing-masing kelas berjumlah 33 peserta didik.  Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel acak klaster (cluster random sampling)yaitu penarikan sampel dari populasi yang telah dikelompokan dan terpilih kelas VIII.A yang berjumlah 33 peserta didik.  Data yang digunakan merupakan hasil belajar peserta didikdiperoleh melalui tes berbentuk uraian yang terdiri dari 5 butir soal. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick disertai strategi pembelajaran Concept Mapping mengefektifkan pembelajaran pada materi pokok garis singgung lingkaran ditinjau dari proses pembelajaran, meliputi kriteria pengamatan kemampuan guru sebesar 84,2%, aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sebesar 76,25%, respon peserta didik sebesar 77,6%, dan ditinjau dari hasil belajar peserta didik ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 87,9%.

Abstract

Drinks combination of cherry leaves and dried stevia leaves can be used as a health drink contains antioxidants and low-calorie sugar. This study aims to get types proper drying in the manufacture of beverages so that the antioxidant content is not damaged and lost. Analysis was conducted on the analysis of sensory, physicochemical and microbiological testing. The design methods Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 2 factorial. The first factor is the addition of stevia leaf dry consisting of 4 levels (0%, 25%, 50% and 75%), the second factor is the type of drying which consists of two type of (drying by oven blowers and drying by oven vacuum), while the vacuum drying the best in terms of sensory analysis (color, aroma, and taste) and antioxidant activity of 77.8%, brewed beverage formulations obtained by the treatment of dry cherry leaves 75% and 25% of dry stevia leaves with the results of sensory analysis (color, aroma and flavor) rather liking, the antioxidant activity of 78.5%, and total calories of 2.9 kcal.Keywords: cherry leaves, stevia, brewed beverages, low calorie beverages and antioxidants.

Abstract

The implementation of Community Service activities was carried out through a seminar and training on writing scientific papers for students of MTs Rhaudlotul Munawwaroh Jatirejo Pringsewu. The results of this activity include: (1) can grow students' interest in writing, (2) students are able to write reports on tourism activities in accordance with EYD and scientific writing writing guidelines (3) students become trained to think scientifically, and (4) students able to be competitive in participating in the Youth Scientific Work competition in the local / national / international arena. Keywords: writing, scientific thinking, scientific writing

Abstract

Decreasing of sexual desire can be aproblem and contribute to the occurrence of stress and anxiety that can interfere with maternal and fetal health. The purpose of this research is to explore and analyze informants in depth about the perception of sexual activity during pregnancy for primipara based on physical conditions andp physchological conditios.This research used is qualitative research phenomenology approach with descriptive with primary data collection echique through indepth interview as many as 10 informants in primipara pregnant female about perception of their sexual activity during pregnancy. The result showed that the pregnant female feel pain in the intimate and swelling of the breast, the mouth feels bitter and belly bulge, while physic changes such as fear and anxiety to have sex and worried about the fetus that is contained so as that pregnant primiparas has sexual activity decreased sexual desire caused by physical andphysicologycal changes during pregnancy

Abstract

Motivation to learn math is a process that determines the level of activity, intensity, consistency, and general direction of student activities in learning mathematics. Students who have strong motivation, will have a lot of energy to do learning activities so that their learning achievement will be more optimal. To increase student's motivation to learn the need for stimuli and support from outside one of them by applying the appropriate learning approach in teaching and learning process in class. One of the learning approaches that can improve students' math motivation is the Quantum Learning approach.
