Abstract

Latar belakang : Kulit wajah merupakan bagian penting dan mendapat perhatian lebih karena seringnya terpapar sinar ultraviolet, debu, polusi, radikal bebas bahkan sisa-sisa make up yang tidak terangkat dengan sempurna, sehingga mengakibatkan pori–pori kulit tersumbat, jerawat serta komedo. Di dalam Jeruk Nipis mengandung flavonoid dan juga Vitamin C, dimana kedua kandungan tersebut memiliki khasiat sebagai antioksidan. Salah satu efek yang paling terlihat dari antioksidan adalah kemampuannya dalam merangsang produksi kolagen yang merupakan bagian penting dari struktur dan proses peremajaan kulit. Efek antioksidan akan lebih baik bila diformulasikan dalam bentuk sediaan topical dibandingkan dengan sediaan oral karena zat aktif akan berinteraksi lebih lama dengan kulit wajah. Masker wajah peel off merupakan salah satu jenis perawatan kulit wajah yang populer, mudah diaplikasikan dan tidak memberikan efek ketergantungan terhadap produk. Tujuan : Mengetahui karakteristik sediaan Masker wajah Gel Pell Off ekstrak etanol kulit Jeruk Nipis (Citrus Aurantiifolia Cortice) dengan beberapa variasi kosentrasi 0%, 10%, 15% dan 20%. Metode penelitian : Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Eksperimental. Hasil : Berdasarkan Pengujian yang dilakukan pada sediaan masker wajah gel peel-off dari ekstrak etanol kulit jeruk nipis (Citrus Aurantiifolia Cortice) pada formula I, II dan III memenuhi syarat uji organoleptis, homogenitas, uji pH, uji sediaan mengering dan uji iritasi. Kesimpulan : Formula F1, F2 dan F3 secara organoleptis mengalami perubahan dari hari ke-1 sampai hari ke-14. Hogenitas dari setiap formula F1, F2 dan F3 homogen pada hari ke-7 sampai hari ke-14. Ph pada formula F1, F2 dan F3 telah memenuhi syarat rentang Ph yang bisa diterima oleh kulit. Untuk waktu mengering setiap formula sediaan sudah memiliki waktu mengering yang baik. Daya sebar dari setiap formula memenuhi pesyaratan. Untuk uji iritasi setelah dilakukan kepada 10 orang panelis menunjukkan tidak adanya iritasi. Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a silent killer where the symptoms are very diverse in each individual and are almost the same as other diseases. The factors that affect the compliance of hypertensive patients in taking drugs are external factors and internal factors Objective: This study aims to determine the level of compliance in hypertensive patients in consuming antihypertensive drugs at the Bengkulu City Pharmacy. Method:This study used an observational method with sampling using consetutive sampling techniques where the data taken were those that met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Data collection is carried out by questionnaire. Result: showed that from 101 research samples, the results of the level of adherence to taking medicines for hypertensive patients with the categories of Obedient 65.30%, Moderately Obedient 25.70% and Non-Compliant 8.90%.

Abstract

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic can affect and change various sectors of life. One of the chronic diseases that can play a role as a weight for Covid-19 is Diabetes Mellitus. The condition followed by decrease visits by diabetes mellitus patients at health facilities. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a negative psychological impact on the community in the form of anxiety for most people, health workers, the elderly, and people with chronic diseases. The purpose of study were to determine the relationship between the Covid-19 pandemic and adherence to the quality of life of diabetes mellitus patients who visited the pharmacy. The tools used in this study were the compliance questionnaire and SF 36 questionnaire to see the patient's quality of life. Method : This research is non-experimental (analytic-descriptive) with a cross-sectional design. Data collected from 70 respondents who had been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus. Result : Based on the results of this study, the compliance of diabetic patients during the pandemic was 43 (61.4%) compliant respondents, 19 (27.1%) moderately compliant respondents, and 8 (11.4%) non-compliant respondents. Compliance is related to the educational status of the respondent in a p-value of 0.00. The good category quality of life of respondents was 58 (82.9%), while in the poor category were 12 (17.1%) respondents. Quality of life is also related to education status and age of respondents in p-values of 0.05 and 0.00. Conclusion : Based on the results above, it can be concluded that have relation between the compliance with quality of life of respondents with diabetes in Pandemic Covid-19 conditions with p value 0.00.

Abstract

Child Welfare Institution (CWI) managers often provide self-treatment or self-medication when foster children experience mild symptoms of illness. In its implementation, self-medication often results in inaccuracies. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the self-medication knowledge capacity of CWI managers in Bengkulu City. The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge about self-medication by CWI managers. This activity provides knowledge about how to manage medicines properly and correctly. The training was given using the Active Human Learning Method which was attended by 30 people. Based on the pretest results, the average score was 5.73, while the posttest results showed an increase in the average score to 7.27 and was tested by an independent t-test (p=0.000). Increasing this knowledge is important in supporting rational drug use programs. Keywords: Child Welfare Institutions, knowledge, self-medication.

Abstract

One of the treatments for schizophrenia patients with pharmacology is antipsychotic treatment. Long-term use of antipsychotic drugs can cause side effects in very serious metabolic disorders, such as the risk of obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of blood glucose levels during schizophrenia patients undergoing antipsychotic therapy at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu. This research method is descriptive with retrospective data collection on medical records of schizophrenia patients at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu for the period 2022. The number of samples used was 86 schizophrenia patients undergoing antipsychotic therapy. The results of this study showed that most patients were male 68 patients, the age range was 36-45 years old with 26 patients, the longest use of antipsychotic therapy was 2 years with 28 people (33%), the body mass index in schizophrenia patients was normal body mass index with 56 people. The most common single antipsychotic use was Risperidone for as many as 36 patients, for the use of the most combination antipsychotics, Chlorpromazine-Risperidone was 8 patients, and all patients had normal blood glucose levels (100%). This study concludes that blood glucose levels during schizophrenia patients who use single and combined antipsychotic therapy show no increase in blood glucose levels.
