Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana fenomena perilaku anak yang orang tuaya bekerja di luar negeri dalam segi perilaku moral serta perilaku sosial anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar negeri di kenagarian Tuik IV Koto Mudiek Kecamatan batang Kapas Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Penelitian ini mengguanakan metode mixed methods yaitu gabungan antara metode penelitian kuantutatif dan kualitatif. Angket di sebarkan ke 37 anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar negeri dan wawancara di lakaukan ke 15 orang yang terdiri dari anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar nageri, teman bermain, masyarakat serta keluarga dari anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar nageri. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa anak yang orang tuaya bekerja di luar negeri mempunyai perilaku moral dan perilaku sosial yang cukup baik, adapun hal negatif yang di lakukan beberapa anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar negeri seperti membawa motor dengan kecepatan tinggi dan lain-lain. Maka dari dari itu perilaku anak yang orang tuanya bekerja di luar negeri mempunyai perilaku cukup baik walaupun ada beberapa memepunyai perilaku yang menyimpang seperti judi dan meminum miras.

Abstract

Memudarnya penerapan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara terlihat dari kian makin maraknya perilaku negatif di dalam masyarakat khususnya generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang dilakukan TIM Pengabdi Universitas Negeri Padang kepada berbagai organisasi pemuda dan perwakilan organisasi dan komuntias lain yang bersinergi dengan organisasi pemuda Kota Payakumbuh. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring melalui platform zoom dalam bentuk Focus group Disscussion (FGD). Rangkaian kegaiatan tersebut terlaksana dalam tiga Langkah yakni; Pertama, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan generasi muda terhadap berbagai masalah sosial yang dihadapi generasi muda secara nasional, lokal dan yang terjadi di sekitar lingkungan mereka. Kedua, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan terhadap dampak dari permasalahan sosial yang terjadi, khususnya untuk generasi muda dan masyarakat sekitar mereka. Ketiga, melibatkan secara aktif generasi dalam mengekplorasi nilai-nilai luhur bangsa yang bersumber dari Pancasila dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Hasil kegiatan Penyuluhan dan pelatihan yang dilakukan dalam rangka pengabdian kepada generasi muda menghasilkan optimisme generasi muda dalam mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila. Selain itu, juga mewujudkan komitmen organisasi kepemudaan yang tergabung untuk membumikan pancasila pada masayarakt khususnya generasi muda melalui kegiatan-kegiatan kepemudaan yang sejalan dengan tujuan komunitas mereka.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI: Media massa merupakan sarana dalam mencari informasi yang cukup dipercaya oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini justru dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya guru PPKn (Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan) saat ini yang menugaskan siswa untuk menggunakan media massa sebagai sumber belajar. Hal ini sebagai konsekuensi pelaksanaan Kurikulum 2013, yang menghendaki siswa mengumpulkan informasi di luar buku teks.  Namun, ada yang terlewatkan dari perhatian guru, yaitu bagaimana menggali nilai dari teks yang dibaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan, pertama,  untuk membantu proses pembelajaran dengan menelaah isi berita utama suratkabar, yang memuat pesan-pesan nilai spiritual dan sosial; serta, kedua,  dapat menjadi model bagi guru dalam menggunakan media massa sebagi sumber belajar. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dari segi analisis teks, nilai spiritual yang paling banyak ditemukan adalah “tanggungjawab” dan dibawah itu adalah “nilai keadilan”; serta nilai sosial yang terbanyak adalah “nilai tanggungjawab sosial”, dengan nilai dibawah itu adalah “kepedulian”. Oleh karena itu, pengggunaan media massa sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran PPKn perlu memperhatikan beberapa pertimbangan, seperti kualitas media, serta keterampilan dalam membaca secara kritis.KATA KUNCI: Nilai spiritual, sikap sosial, guru-siswa, media massa, dan informasi berharga. ABSTRACT: “Content Analysis on Value Message in Singgalang Newspaper for Materials Development in the Subject of Civic Education”. The mass media is a means for searching information that is credible enough for the community. This study was actually motivated by a number of teachers of PPKn (Pancasila and Citizenship Education) who are currently assigning students to use the mass media as a source of learning. This use of media is a consequence of the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which requires students to collect information from outside the textbook. However, something has been overlooked by the teachers, namely how to explore the values from the text to be read. This study aims, firstly, to help the learning process by examining the contents of newspaper headlines, which contain messages of spiritual and social values; and, secondly, produce a model for teachers in using the mass media as a source of learning. The method used is content analysis. The results showed that in terms of textual analysis, the spiritual values most commonly found are "responsibility", followed by "justice"; and the highest social value is "social responsibility", followed by value of "caring". Abstract

ABSTRACT: It is used to discuss multiculturalism comes from liberal philosophy since the latest improvement of the multiculturalism ideas occur in liberalism society like American and European. To understand the meaning of multiculturalism, however, culture is viewed as a dynamic process of human adaptation toward their historical journey as the way to defense their life through a sympathetic involvement in understanding and responding the world. The connection of multiculturalism to liberalism ideas shows that multiculturalism is a further improvement of political philosophy of liberalism, or it may be also inferred that multiculturalism is an antithesis toward liberal political theory itself. However, the ideas of multiculturalism also develop in Islamic tradition. The basic multiculturalism concept in Islam can be traced in daily life of plural society during the Medina government under the Prophet Muhammad SAW (peace be upon him)’s authority and furthermore continued by the next generation. Abstract

This study discusses the process of moral and spiritual formation of prisoners in the Pekanbaru Class IIA Correctional Institution. The purpose of the study was to find out and analyze the form of implementation of moral and spiritual formation in Pekanbaru Class IIA Correctional Institution. This research uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data is through interviews, documentation and observations of officials, prison officials, dai and pastors and assisted citizens. The results of the study showed that the forms of moral and spiritual formation in the assisted citizens of the Class IIA Correctional Institution in Pekanbaru were in the form of oral preaching

Abstract

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) phenomena are one of the problems of the nation today. These problems become debatable among politicians, legal experts, and academicians. On the other hand, Pancasila Education is a personality development course that transforms the noble values of the nation has not been able to prevent the development of LGBT. Relating to the threats of LGBT, this study aims to develop an anti-LGBT values learning model that is integrated into the Pancasila Education. The initial stage of the study discusses the students’ knowledge and attitudes towards LGBT. A Likert scale questionnaire was employed to collect data; the sample of the study was chosen randomly from students taking the Pancasila Education course. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 20. The research findings indicated that students had sufficient knowledge about LGBT, and they had a firm attitude against LGBT. This finding suggests that most students still have a good practice of religious and traditional values to stay away from LGBT.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pelaksanaan dan desain pendidikan karakter sekolah dasar pesisir pantai. Penelitian dilakukan di SDN 06 Pasir Jambak dan SDN 19 Air Tawar Barat, Padang karena secara geografis kedua sekolah tersebut berada pada pesisir pantai kota Padang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan pengisian angket. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) pelak-sanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah daerah pesisir pantai masih belum terprogram dan terencana dengan baik, 2) faktor pendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah da-erah pesisir pantai didukung oleh beberapa kondisi, yakni: penciptaan budaya sekolah dan keteladan dari pihak sekolah, 3) faktor penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah daerah pesisir pantai yakni kurangnya dukungan dari orang tua dan lingkungan sekitar. Hasil akhir penelitian berupa desain pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar pesisir pantai yang bisa menjadi pedoman bagi sekolah daerah pesisir pantai dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter pada siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the impact of government policy on formal education of traditional fishermen children. In this research, the author took a study of two ethnicity groups namely Minangkabau and Nias ethnicity in Padang City. The research uses quantitative methods with a survey approach. The research data was taken through a questionnaire to the families of traditional Minangkabau and Nias ethnicity fishermen who were selected based on a Simple Random Sampling technique. All data were analyzed by descriptive analysis using SPSS 18.00 software. The results of the study found that the impact of government policy had affected the formal education of Minangkabau ethnicity fishermen children, even the children's education reached the level of college. But for Nias ethnicity, it does not affect their child's formal education. The difference between the results of government policies on these two ethnicity groups is actually motivated by the cultural factors of both ethnicities. For Minangkabau parents and children, education is something that is so important for the future, on the contrary for parents and children of Nias ethnicity, education is considered less important.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka dalam interaksi sosial di masa pandemi Covid-19, karena di masa ini hampir seluruh tatanan kehidupan masyarakat berubah, termasuk interaksi sosial masyarakat transmigrasi yang melakukan malakok di Nagari Sungai Sirah. Berawal dari kronologi kedatangan masyarakat  transmigrasi sehingga tercipta masyarakat yang beragam, untuk itu dibutuhkan sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka untuk menstabilkan kehidupan sosial di Nagari Sungai Sirah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara yang mendalam dan mengadakan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) di tempat penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka di Nagari Sungai Sirah terlaksanakan dengan baik, bahkan kadar sikap toleransi dan sikap berpikiran terbuka nya lebih besar ketimbang sebelum terjadinya pandemi Covid-19. Adat istiadat pada masa sebelum terjadinya pandemi Covid-19 mewajibkan semua unsur adat untuk melakukan suatu kebiasaan yang sudah ditetapkan secara adat namun di masa pandemi Covid-19 semua unsur adat memberi dan diberi toleransi serta keringanan dalam hal pelaksanaan adat tersebut serta fenomena ini juga disikapi dengan pikiran yang terbuka oleh semua masyarakat. Melalui tradisi “malakok” masyarakat pendatang masih mampu hidup berdampingan dan menjaga harmonisasi sosial dalam persaudaraan yang dibingkai dalam sikap toleransi dan berpikiran terbuka.AbstractThe research aims to analyze forms of tolerance and open-mindedness in social interactions during the Covid-19 pandemic, because at this time almost the entire order of community life changed, including the social interactions of the transmigration community who carried out malakok in Nagari Sungai Sirah. Starting from the chronology of the arrival of the transmigration community so that a diverse society was created, it requires an attitude of tolerance and an open mind to stabilize social life in Nagari Sungai Sirah. This research was conducted using a phenomenological qualitative approach. Collecting data using observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and holding Focus Group Discussions (FGD) at the research site. The results showed that tolerance and open-mindedness in Nagari Sungai Sirah were carried out well, even the levels of tolerance and open-mindedness were greater than before the Covid-19 pandemic. Customs in the period before the Covid-19 pandemic required all elements of custom to carry out a custom that had been established in custom, but during the Covid-19 pandemic all elements customary gave and were given tolerance and relief in terms of implementing these customs, and this phenomenon was also addressed with an open mind by all societies. Through the “malakok” tradition, immigrant communities are still able to live side by side and maintain social harmony in a brotherhood framed in an attitude of tolerance and open-mindedness.

Abstract

This article aims to develop the learning of Citizenship Education based on local wisdom in improving student learning outcomes on material systems and the dynamics of Pancasila democracy in State Senior High School 1 Kunto Darussalam. The research model used is Research and Development. The focus of the study is in the field of Citizenship Education learning module design which collaborates on the material system and the dynamics of Pancasila democracy with local wisdom of Malay Malay culture. In accordance with Dewey's opinion; learning must be contextualized and adjusted for real life situations (Rusmiati et al, 2013). The data of this study were collected using tests, questionnaires, observations and interviews analyzed qualitatively. From the results of the study showed an increase in the average value of students from 2.1 to 3.1 with a total completeness level of 63.3% to 86.7%. 94.5% of students gave positive responses to learning. From the results of the study concluded that the learning module based on local wisdom can increase students' interest and learning outcomes in the material system and the dynamics of Pancasila democracy.
