Abstract

A Muslim views that nature belongs to God and human beings must show that they are grateful by learning how to use and manage it well so that it can provide benefits to the mankind. Exploiting nature taught by Islam is based on the utilization of responsibility that provides benefits not only for its content but also its intact and sustainable opportunities to cultivate and for rehabilitation or to help speed up its recovery. Humans are required to have certain characters towards nature, which means dealing with nature by maintaining sustainability. Therefore, God gives cues to enable people to control themselves in exploitation of the natural resources which causes defection that can harm and even destroy human life. For that reason, Islam forbids destructing or harming the environment ranging from very small actions and trivial such as prohibiting throwing human faces under a fruit tree, in the river, on the road, or in the shelter areas. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is also very concerned about the preservation of wildlife, as described in the Hadith narrated by Abu Dawood. Even Prophet never reprimanded one of his companions during the Hijrah period to take the chicks out of the nest. Similarly, Islam cares about the environment created by God which human beings are mandated to maintain nature properly and responsibly. Keywords: Concept of Islam, the environment, education.Copyright © 2015 by Al-Talim All right reserved

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on August 8th - October 3rd 2018 at the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of different feeds and types of feed that are good for population growth and the biomass of silk worms (Tubifex sp.). The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 1 factor and 4 treatment levels where each treatment used 3 replications to obtain 12 experimental units. The treatment in this study was the provision of feed with 55g oftofu dregs, 55g of sago dregs, 55gchicken manure and 55g bran against silk worms (Tubifex sp.) The results showed that different feeding significantly (P <0.05) on population growth and silk worm biomass (Tubifex sp.). Giving tofu dregs is the best feed for population growth and silk worm biomass (Tubifex sp.). which resulted in a population growth of 107098 ind, the highest biomass growth was 165.15 g and an increase in length of 1.72 cm. Key Word: Tubifex sp., Different Feed, Population Growth, Biomass Growth

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in May to June 2018 at the Fish Seed Hall Laboratory (BBI) headland of the Fisheries and Marine Service, Rokan District, downstream. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of ovulation and hatching of fish eggs (Ompok Rhadinurus) which were injected with a combination of the hormone ovaprim with oxytocin at different doses. The method used in this study is the experimental method that uses one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments with three replications. The treatments applied in this study are: P1: Injection with 25% ovaprim + 75% oxytocin, P2: Injecting with 50% ovaprim + 50% oxytocin, P3: Injecting with 75% ovaprim + 25% oxytocin, P4: Injection with 100% ovaprim, P5: Injecting with 100% oxytocin. The results showed that the best treatment for the effect of ovulation and anchovy egg maturation (Ompok Rhadinurus) was P2: 50% ovaprim + 50% oxytocin which resulted in a latency time of 7 hours 38 minutes, the number of eggs stripping as many as 214 grains / g parent, value ovisomatic index of 16.14%, increase in egg diameter of 0.30 mm, fertilization value of 73.13%, hatching value of 82%, and survival value (SR5 days) of 58.31%. Abstract

Climber perch an economic fish in Sumatera and Kalimantan, culture this fish is still rarely, its problem because larvae still get from natural. Necesity of larvae with good quality to be important to aquaculture activity. Many research have been to done to willing quality larvae. Aimed of this research was improvement of climbing perch larvae trough feed (Tubifex sp) wich enrichment with curcumin. Result of this research shown that the 4rd treatment (enrichment Tubifex sp with 3 mg curcumin) gave best growth on length and weight.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Oodev and turmeric flour doses on maturation of Mahseer fish (Tor douronensis). The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 1 factor and 5 levels of treatment where each treatment used 3 replications to obtain 15 experimental units. The treatments in this study were giving Oodev 0 ml / kg broodstock turmeric flour 0 g / kg of feed, Oodev 0.5 ml / kg of broodstock and turmeric flour 0 g / kg of feed, Oodev 0.5 ml / kg ofbroodstock and turmeric flour 0.25 g / kg of feed, Oodev 0.5 ml / g of broodstock and turmeric flour 0.5 g / kg of feed and Oodev 0.5 ml / kg ofbroodstock and turmeric flour 0.75 g / kg of feed. The results showed that Oodev and turmeric flour effect had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the maturation of Mahseer fish (Tor douronensis). Oodev 0.5 ml / kg of broodstock and turmeric flour 0.75 g / kg of feed is the highest treatment for maturation of Mahseer fish (Tor douronensis) which results in increased broodstock weight of 116.67 g, growth rate of relative parent weight of 11, 67%, Gonad Maturity Index (GMI) of 5.76%, increase in egg diameter of 1.57 mm and relative egg diameter increase of 157.29%. Key Word : Tor douronensis, Oodev, Mahseer, Turmeric flour, Gonad, Egg diameter

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on 1 September-1 October 2018 at the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences,  Riau University. The purpose of this  study is to determine the effect of feed types and different doses on the population growth of Daphnia magna so as to produce the highest population growth. The method used in this study was a 2 factor Complete Random Design (CRD) method and 6 treatment levels were carried out 3 replications to obtain 18 experimental units. The treatment in this study was the provision of yeast feed, tofu pulp and sago pulp with a dose of 1.0 g/l and 1.5 g/l. The results showed that administration of different types of feed and dosage had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the population growth of Daphnia magna. The highest population growth of Daphnia magna was produced by treatment with 1.5 g/l doses of Yeast with an average population of 468.33 ind/l and the lowest population was found in sago pulp treatment with an average population growth of 221.67 ind/l. The water quality parameter values obtained during the study showed a good range for the growth of Daphnia magna, namely temperatures ranging from 24.0-30ºC and pH 6-7,9. Keywords :Daphnia magna, different feeds, different doses, population growth
