Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of tourism products and destination image of tourists visiting decision. The method in this study uses a type of probability sampling, including simple random sampling with a sample of 200 respondents. The analysis technique used is multiple linier regression analysis, coefficient of determination, simultaneous model testing (F test), and partial hypothesis testing (T test). T test result shower that tourism products had a positive and significant effect on visiting decisions, destination image had a positive and significant effect on visiting decisions.The F test results the probability value sig. 0,000 < 0,05 which means that the F test can be accepted and shows the influence simultaneously. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test obtained a value of 0,596 can be interpreted that the influence of tourism products and destination image on the decision of visiting that is equal to 59,6%, the remaining 40,4 % is influenced by other factors not explained this study.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of learning models make a match against physics student learning outcomes. This research was conducted in SMK 1 Bangun Purba. This type of research is true experimental design. This research design control group pre-test post-test. The population in this study a class XI student as much as 2 class with a sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling. Analysis of the data, using the N gain test, test for normality, homogeneity test and t test. The results of the t-test calculations showed that 4.740&gt; 2.024. It can be concluded that there are significant learning model make a match against the cognitive learning physics class XI student of SMK 1 Bangun Purba with a level of 95%.

Abstract

Background: The average passing rate of Airlangga University School of Medicine (accredited A) graduates on the Indonesian Doctor Competence Examinations (UKDI) from Batches 1 to 17 was in the range of 90-95%, which was above the national average. The achievement, however, has declined to approximately 80-85% in Batch 23 - the last UKDI. These school’s new graduates are the product of a series of educational processes within the faculty of medicine: input in the form of student selection, educational process incorporating: educational programs, academic staff, educational resources, learning outcomes assessments, evaluation of educational programs and continuous updates, and the output which are medical doctors passing the UKDI. This study aims at exploring the factors that influence the success of newly graduated doctors to pass the UKDI. The results were expected to be used as considerations for the improvements of materials and teaching methods which referring to the National Competencies for Physician (SKDI).Method: The study was divided into two stages. Observational study design was implemented on the first stage. Second, the analytical observational cross-sectional study design was applied. The unit of analysis was derived from secondary data, a collection of documents of students studying in the School of Medicine Airlangga University and of the UKDI test scores.Results: The analysis results showed that the variable most affecting the passing of UKDI in this study was the GPA at the bachelor stage (OR = 67.44; p=0.001). The mathematical model of the logistic regression is: y = constant + a1x1 + a2x2 +..... + anxn, being y = -8.83 + 67.44 (GPA bachelor). The probability (p) of passing a new doctor of the school on the UKDI examination can be predicted using the formula: p = 1 / (1 + e-y), with e = 2.7 (natural number).Conclusion: The variable most affecting the passing of UKDI in this study was the GPA at the bachelor stage (OR = 67.44; p=0.001).

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of disease that its incidence increases every year worldwide. The condition of DM can cause various complications caused by oxidative stress. Stichopus hermanii (SH) or golden sea cucumber extract contains antioxidant compounds that have been proven to reduce oxidative stress conditions. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Stichopus hermanii extract on condition of diabetes mellitus by looking at changes in fasting blood glucose, plasma insulin, and malondialdehyde levels in animal models of Wistar rats. This study was a laboratory experimental study using Randomized Control Trial Design with Post-test only control group design. Thirty-five male Wistar rats divided into five groups, i.e normal control group, positive control, negative control and two treatment groups with SH extract dose 8.5 and 17 mg / kgBW for 14 days once daily after induction of Streptozotocin at the Biochemistry Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University. Fasting blood glucose level was measured by a glucometer, plasma insulin measured by ELISA and MDA level was measured by a spectrophotometer. Data were analyzed statistically by using One Way ANOVA test and Kruskal Wallis. There were significant results of SH extract can reduce fasting blood glucose (Kruskal Wallis, p=0.030) and MDA (Kruskal Wallis, p=0.042) but not in plasma insulin (ANOVA, p=0.130). The lowest MDA level occurs in the K4 group that given SH extract dose 17 mg/kg BW than another experimental group. As the conclusion, this study showed SH extract can decrease fasting blood glucose and oxidative stress in diabetic-induced rats.

Abstract

According to energy observers from the Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) the number of electricity consumers in Indonesia has increased by an average of 6-7% annually followed by an increase in the area of its services. An increasingly broad network is directly proportional to the potential for interference with the transmission and distribution system. The 150 KV Rembang substations is part of the Java-Bali Interconnection electrical system in northern Central Java that supplies electricity to the Rembang and surrounding areas. Rembang 150 KV substation on May 24, 2019, RBG 01 feeder experienced a disturbance behind the RB1-32 recloser and it was recorded that in 2019 PMT it had been tripped 4 times. Besides, there has been a change in equipment in the form of transformer II. These problems indicate the potential for interference that is not anticipated by the protection system, namely Over Current Relay and recloser. This study evaluates the setting of an outgoing 20 KV OCR protections and recloser on transformer II RBG 01 feeder Rembang 150 KV substation. The scenarios used are calculations with large variations of short-circuit current based on% distance, as well as the calculation of OCR and recloser settings with IEC 60255 standards. Setting currents in the protection equipment is regulated based on current conductivity (KHA) and load current on the recloser. The coordination of the protection settings resulting from this resetting will be compared to the conditions on the ground. Existing (field) OCR outgoing feeder RBG 01 condition TMS OCR value = 0.228 seconds, Iset = 480 A, and t op = 0.3 seconds. The existing OCR recloser condition TMS OCR value = 0.120 seconds and Iset = 400 A. The results of OCR coordinating outgoing feeder RBG 01 obtained TMS OCR value = 0.135 seconds, Iset = 585 A, and t operation = 0.3 seconds. OCR recloser resetting conditions obtained TMS OCR value = 0.10 seconds, Iset = 240 A and t operation = 0.198 seconds. The resetting conditions have met the IEC 60255 standard because recloser working time is smaller than outgoing work time.

Abstract

Pendahuluan : Ulkus dekubitus juga sering disebut sebagai pressure ulcer, bed sore, atau borok tempat tidur diakibatkan oleh nekrosis sel dan sering terjadi dalam kulit atau jaringan subkutan di daerah tonjolan tulang. Untuk mencegah ulkus dekubitus diperlukan pengetahuan yang baik tentang ulkus dekubitus. Metodologi : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan mahasiswa keperawatan tentang ulkus dekubitus. Design penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 214 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil : Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang ulkus dekubitus dengan kategori cukup yaitu sebanyak 5,6 % responden. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan hasil bahwa pengetahuan responden paling bagus adalah pada tema etiologi. Diskusi : Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa adalah dengan memberikan workshop, pelatihan ataupun mini seminar tentang ulkus dekubitus untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang ulkus dekubitus. Abstract

This study determined community knowledge, attitudes, and practices after COVID-19 socialization in Rambipuji and Suci Village, Jember District, East Java, Indonesia. This study used the analytic observational design study. As many as 40 people were given socialization about COVID-19 by gathering and online. The questionnaires were completed in two parts included before-socialization and after-socialization. The questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively by calculating frequency, percentage, and inferential statistics by t-test, Spearman correlation, and chi-square test. The data analysis used IBM SPSS version 23 software. The mean and standard deviation of percentage of knowledge pre-test, knowledge post-test, high attitude, moderate attitude, low attitude, very high practice, high practice, sufficient practice, and low practice were 58.33 ± 30.97, 77.70 ± 22.52, 62.5±21.7, 31±22.2, 6.5±17.1, 65±13.8, 32.3±13.8, 1.25±2.4, 1.25±1.8, respectively. Knowledge pre-test and post-test correlated 0.819 (p=0.001) and a t-test with p=0.003. Attitudes and practices correlated with p=0.001. Socialization of COVID-19 was useful to improve the community knowledge, attitudes, and practices in Rambipuji and Suci Village, Jember District, East Java, Indonesia that could prevent the transmission and inhibit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Furthermore, continuous encouragement of COVID-19 socialization in wide areas was recommended.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of ethanol extract of gemitir flower (Tagetes erecta L.) on total cholesterol levels, Low-Density Lipoprotein C (LDL), Malondialdehyde (MDA), Apolipoprotein B (ApoB). Forty-eight Rattus norvegicus were randomly divided into 6 groups, groups were given standard feed (K-) and 5 groups of hyperlipidemia models (K +, P1, P2, P3, P4) were given High Fat Diet (HFD) for 35 days. On the 36th day, the total cholesterol levels were checked through the tail of Rattus norvegicus, and from day 37 to day 50 were given a normal diet (K-), HFD (K +), simvastatin 10 mg/kgBW (P1), ethanol extract of gemitir flowers (Tagetes erecta L.) 200 (P2), 400 BW (P3), and 800 mg/kgBW (P4). On day 51, the total cholesterol, LDL-C, MDA, and ApoB blood serum levels were checked. The results showed total cholesterol, Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL), Malondialdehyde (MDA), and Apolipoprotein B (ApoB) given ethanol extract of gemitir flowers 200 and 400 mg/kgBW (P2) had a significant reduction (P < 0.05). Giving ethanol extract of gemitir flower (Tagetes erecta L.) could reduce levels of total cholesterol, LDL, MDA, and Apo B.
